@@mikemcphaden80 it's a wicked place man! Frikken love the Yukon... That tune was stuck in my head the whole time we were there 😂. Dang it, now it is again! Cheers
Great to see the Tombstone landscape again. When we went up there several years ago we did it in the car we rented in Whitehorse- a Pontiac G5. Nothing handles like a rented vehicle! I think the carwash before we returned it took a good hour...
The beauty of this country is amazing. This trip has left me in awe and feeling emotional . I thank you both for sharing and please do not stand on the peak of a few crumbly rocks again. That was nail biting. 💖🫂🥰
Have made to Tuktoyaktuk this summer. and after that when watching your and others videos I have the strange feeling - being a part of family not just a community of those ho was there, seeing and experiencing the same with us..
Congrats ! What a spectacular trip eh!? You're 100% right... Even though anyone who can get behind the wheel can complete the trip, but you still feel like you're apart of something by completing it ! It's a big process even just to get to the beginning !
(24:58) wild horse's! So cool to see, it's rare to see them wild. Usually all fenced in by us humans. Loved it ❤ if they are owned by someone at least they allow them to live wild & free
Beautiful country for sure ! You guy's have made me want to come back to the Yukon next year :) I only had a couple weeks to tour the back roads & only made it Ross River & canal mine road to Johnsons crossing Beautiful trip & I will be back for a 6 week trip in the near future 👍, Take care stay warm"
So cool! There's so much to explore. I'd say you got to see some of the best parts of the Yukon for sure (even though they're all good!) we did the North Canol and it was an adventure and a half... Safe travels !
LOL, dude I laughed so hard in the plane when ‘you weren’t recording’, we never learn. Also, that’s a great tip, scoping out the area before driving up :) 1:18 And crocs are the best shoes for all occasions. Last time I ran near mud I fell deep into the mud…careful 🥶
@@TheCuriousToadCo no you didn't miss it, I'm just WAY behind on edits 😂 this was shot in early September ! That sounds awesome, August is a great time to be up north! Have a wonderful trip
@@wayoftheroadsperfect! Keep up the adventures. Love you videos. You capture your story in a way that keeps me coming back. I first found you when I was looking for Tuk videos. Cheers!
@TheCuriousToadCo That's great to hear, thanks a lot! Lots more to come! All the best, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions before your trip !
I wonder what time of year this video was shot. We are planning to drive up to Tuktoyaktuk next year and would like to see the start of the fall colors. We are thinking of end of August and wondering what the colors would be like during that time. Thank you.
So i'm new to your channel & it's probably been discussed but have you guy's thought about a high top so you could stand up more? I have a Dodge i can't quite stand all the way up but it's way better when i get my dog on & out for room. I watch Slow Roamers & other too my escape from my chair to places i'll never so or go so thanks for posting so i can ride along
@@larrymiller2370 Hi Larry! Great question... It's definitely been talked about between the three of us, however the price difference between a low roof/high roof is substantial. We have looked a bit into having a company cut off the existing roof and adding an extra foot... Which would be beneficial, however the price to have some extra room above our heads isn't worth it at the moment. We're in the van full time and surprisingly we're still quite cozy! Eventually when the money is there we'll certainly invest in a bigger home on wheels :). Thanks for being here. All the best !
Amazing landscape up there, awesome colours!!! Love the Stompin Tom!! Cdn icon right there. Keep them coming

We are heading that way next year again and appreciated the great information let alone watching the exciting and beautiful video.

I believe they were owned by someone! BUT they were roaming free which is very cool to see! Thanks Julie❤
Great Video - looking forward to the next one Think I know where you are heading :)
Thanks ! We are too 😉 The next road was one of our favourite adventures so far!
