Ok I’m actually to the videos i discovered you guys on..but gonna just rewatch these till i catch up with your newest. So Hyder is awesome we went there 2 times, first time I actually didn’t know there was a glacier at the end of the road 🤦🏻♀️ we turned around after a bit past the bear viewing…2nd time we had to make choices like you guys and telegraph creek road. I do really wish we had gone to salmon glacier . We did however go on the telegraph creek road. Loved it.. awesome village at the end..the stikine river is beautiful. Awesome seeing the bobcat! And somehow I had no idea you could drive to the cassier ghost town!!! 😳 that is something we totally would have loved..looks like the road is right in jade city. Shame on me for not doing more research! And I had the milepost each time.. the problem was I was the driver most of the time and he hated reading that milepost lol..every time I’d make him look at it and tell me what fun things were coming next I’d get “the look” 😂 then he would offer to drive ..but I would get carsick if I was reading it and I like being in control of the vehicle as well 😂… so apparently we missed some really cool things!! But thanks for showing me them! And finally Boya lake ..we loved that campground! Kayaked all around it.. found a beaver dam and portaged to another lake past it.. then found another dam with the same thing but we had to get back. We have driven on the cassier a total of 4 times now.. loved it each time! Looks like you guys did as well.. thanks for sharing! ❤ ohhh yahhh the YUKON BABY! My fav. Next to Alaska of course😊
We had driven it before and missed several stops along the way! I'm pretty certain they don't advertise for people to visit the abandoned town of Cassiar in the Milepost (and yes it was 12km passed Jade City), but thats why we always have to drive roads 2... 3... maybe 4 times to really experience it. You can just never do it all in one shot! We will definitely be back soon, travelling the North has a very nostalgic feel for us now. Salmon Glacier was incredible, even in the thick fog... i'm kicking myself now for not camping there for a few days ! Next time. So glad your'e watching through the whole catalogue again and getting caught up ❤
loved the old doc clips! I lugged around 2 canoes for over a year of RV life without taking them down, until I finally found that perfect lake, and went fishing every good day for 3 months! So worth it! Canoe puts food on the table!
@@CanadianSledDog thanks a lot! I enjoyed integrating that into our video. It's been getting a lot of use lately, it just felt like it was getting carried around all over the place and never on the water haha. Lots of cool paddles coming in future videos. Cheers friend thanks for the comments and for watching our videos!
Thank you for the beautiful scenery shots. Loved the way you guys gave some history of the places you were at. I always look forward to seeing your clips. I have watched all you have put out and enjoyed each one. Thanks for sharing, best ever, be safe and Diesel is looking good. Friend from Pensacola, fl. Blessings
@@DarrylEubanks-x7c thanks a lot Darryl. We enjoyed putting this one together. Lots of great footage coming up soon of our travels through the Yukon & Alaska ! All the best :)
Absolutely astounding video of this trip. The historic documents and your recorded adventure peaked my interest in wanting to do more research . The information you provided of every stop, the blue water lakes , abandoned town , with the glaciers will certainly encourage other travellers . Thank you both. I look forward to the next video. * Noel says Alanna needs a booster seat. 😊 ❤🫂
I love how you capture those beautiful places. I just came back from the Yukon and stayed at the same spot on Lake Eddontenajon (I had a lake bath too). I went a little further past the salmon glacier lookouts, then down a mining road to a flat area, then a rough little side road to sit over the backside of the glacier with a private lake for swimming - it was the best one. It even beat out Tombstone. I just got back to the island a week ago so iam loving the tour down memory lane. Happy travels - you’re gonna love Kluane
@@elsaparsons4444 wow! That spot you describe at salmon Glacier sounds amazing! Our Alaska trip (we're back now) was one big scouting mission haha sooooo many places we wish we spent more time and can't wait to get back to. We're glad you're enjoying the videos! ❤️
Love this man! Intro was fantastic. The historic footage is a personal favorite. Was great to meet and camp with y’all this weekend. Best wishes and safe travels you two, much love 🤙🏼
Hey guys loving the trip so far!!! Aunt Chris and I watched the vid from our room just outside The Byward market area in Ottawa. Not quite the same kind of road trip but a road trip none the less😂😂. Keep them coming !!!!!
The wood stove u saw going near the mine site is scrappy Larry's scrap yard, he was on some of those gold mine TV shows on discovery channel. The old town site and mine is in reclamation from a Watson lake guy. Lots to see in that area it's awesome
Why don't you buy a dash cam for those random wildlife crossings? I have one for my ride-share, for different purposes obviously, but they are cheap like maybe 80 bucks for a 4k one. With loop recording you won't miss a thing. The one I have can even turn left or right when needed. Just a thought. Great videos. Thanks for bringing us along.
Headed that way in two days.....what was the little lake you spent the nite at before heading into Stewart? Other than Fish Creek, any other suggestions for bear viewing? Thanks for your videos you two! Hope Diesel is doing well!!!
@@whitetailsheds7771 awesome you'll have a great time. It was Clements lake rec site but it's currently closed apparently. If you're on the road early morning or at dusk, chances are you're going to see some bears! Or anywhere near the river systems where the salmon are running there's a good chance they'll be there! Thanks for watching enjoy your trip!

A good mix of old, new and aging. Trips like this when you can explore and learn old history and new.
Thx for taking us along on your adventure.🙂
Great. More stuff to add to the bucket list. Great video.
Get out there and check off the boxes my friend! Cheers

Hi what an Absolute beautiful, awesome and amazing scenery😊
There’s so much to see along this highway! Thanks for watching😀
Enjoyed this very much. Makes me want to do another northern BC and Yukon adventure myself. Have not been there since the 2006 Yukon River Quest.
