Great video, mate. Thanks for sharing. It's parallel to the ground.
I used to use this on drum set (with no other percussionist) on the intro to the Sergio Mendes tune Magdalena.

Thanks for the video. I just got one too and you comment about keeping it perpendicular to the ground is so true. Without doing that, it's almost impossible to get a steady beat. But maybe that's just a beginner thing?? The LP guy seems to play with more wrist action. I'm still trying to figure this thing out. Also you comment about loudness is soo ture, this thing is really loud!

I’ve been dreaming about this piece of gear since 2017 when I first saw it in São Paulo. Just got it from my fiancée for last christmas ☺️ adds a really useful touch to any percussion set. Must have! ☺️👌

It's good to have people around you who understand instruments!😅
What instruments have you been using it with? 😄

@@JordanFergusonI mainly use it with a drumset with my band (mostly indie rock, not samba related) played with my leading hand instead of cymbals. On percussion gigs I have been using it with congas to accompany simple grooves. Btw sorry for a late answer, life got in the way 😅
