I went about ten years without knowing what Gyromancy was. I always assumed it was just something they made up for the first game. When I looked it up, I was laughing so hard. Of all of the divination rituals out there, Konami picked spinning around in a circle. Apparently Travis' mother Helen could see and interact with the otherworld through mirrors long before Alessa's powers were awoken? Or am I misunderstanding something?
@@RABtoons when Alessa loses control of her powers in the first game, she completely shatters the barriers of reality, allowing the city's power to manifest even in the past, albeit more weakly. So it's either that, or Travis's transition methods are based on his mom's hallucinations, that he heard.
It's possible that she was just crazy. Her description of the Otherworld telling her to kill Travis doesn't match anything shown in the game or the concept of the Otherworld itself. Either that or she experienced a different version of the Otherworld, the town had supernatural stuff even before Alessa existed
According to a recent theory, maybe she was a psychic or something, only her powers did not manifest themselves the same as Alessa or she was simply very sensitive to it.
I'll sound half stupid here but you missed the opportunity to make a joke with a character from the siren games (the franchise from the director of the first silent hill) breaking the siren saying "I didn't even listen to that that much"
@@RABtoons Downpour parody NEEDS to contain all the glitches it has... in my playtrough: - the ladder to room 302 (SH4 eater egg) glitched and could not use it any more. - some items on the street like bricks quadrupled after loading a save state. they looked like it is just one, but bumping them caused them to fly away - one time all the items vanished inside the subway (where the bum is) - once i fell through the map into the abyss - i could open the bird cages again, after releasing all of them - if you die, and select continue, you will be at 100% health - game is still better than Homecoming

Yes, there was a Silent Hill Pitch that go rejected where you play an Exorcist fully cognizant of Silent Hill's fuckery and still went in order to stop it's power from engulfing a 2nd Settlement.
I was watching someone play some level in silent hill where it's a looping house, and you are supposed to piece together some picture where you keep hearing baby sound. It made me throw up. It's like Wuk Lamat on a boat.
