I hold Minecraft Xbox 360 edition so close to my heart, because it grew me way closer to my dad. I’ll never forget playing split screen creative mode or some random survival world with him.

Dude i remember Xbox 360 edition at first didn’t have creative and everyone would find ways to duplicate their diamonds and look super rich to their friends. And you’re right the crafting menu was way better for controllers back then! Those days were so much fun
And now a day's it's all meh kinda boring some games are good but most are just meh lol.

I remember going over to my friend's house as a kid and playing Minecraft Xbox 360 edition on split screen until super late.
I also only had Pocket Edition, and at the time that version was very minimal, so 360 edition blew my mind. I remember being super excited that there were lava buckets and spawn eggs.
The Minecraft music always makes me nostalgic for those days specifically 'cause when you play on a console with your friend next to you, you're not playing any other music.
Every aspect was just PERFECT

I'm only 14 but I still have many good memories of playing ps4 minecraft almost 8 years ago, or how ever long that may be, playing those minecraft texture maps, my favorite one was the christmas one, I miss being younger then I am now.
I’m the same. I can remember unwrapping Minecraft at Christmas 2015. it seems like 100 years ago now. although that was about 8-9 years ago, I think I made better Minecraft memories around 5 years ago

I still got a friend from xbox 360. Been friends over 8 years and everything about this game was great. Just gonna think about the positives about it. Constantly making new worlds, remembering hitting the borders of the world, everyday watching Stampy, dan, ssundee, sky, and just a handful of others. 2015 hit and then later go into Ant's fnaf stuff. So many great memories and happy they happened. Can't wait until I can give my appreciation to this game soon.
I’m in middle school and I’m a modern kid, but I grew up with Xbox 360 as my console and I just love Xbox 360 Minecraft! I still play it to this day!

I'm also in middle school and I grew up with the Xbox 360, then got the Xbox one s for Christmas in 2016 and I remember I played the 360 version and the Xbox one version and its disappointing to see it get replaced with bedrock edition.

My dad, the man who recently abandoned me, my brother and my mother after 18 years, he first introduced to Minecraft Xbox 360 back in 2013 I believe, I was quite young and I remember it being the best thing ever at the time, I loved the game because I watched TH-camrs like Stampy and DanTDM all of the time, Minecraft became a comfort game for me and I still play it every now and then on my old Xbox 360, same worlds I played back then too, it's one of the few good memories I have with my dad actually being a good person, I sometimes wish to go back to those simple times again, because god damn it do I miss it a lot.

2013 truly was a great year... this was my birthday gift, i remember making multiple accounts to get that monster hunter 2 day gold trial thing just to play with my friends lol. Watching Stampy and Iballisticsquid Dead Rising 2 was available thru games with gold. If i can only relive those moments again i would.

I remember getting Minecraft for the Wii U.
I used to play this with my sisters everyday all the time and we’d roleplay in the world download packs. It was so fun I miss those days. When I visit my younger cousins I introduce them to this version me it feels like I’m reliving my childhood. I love this version and I still play it to this day, modern Minecraft doesn’t have this level of nostalgia like the 360 edition has. It was truly a “you had to be there” moment. I’m tearing up typing this comment because I miss those good times. It wasn’t nostalgia, it was just simple and fun.
I used to play with my older brother,it was great making cool builds on our survival world, and beating the ender dragon for the first time was amazing
i played the ps3 version and is SO nostalgic to me, so i get how nostalgic xbox 360 minecraft can be as nostalgic.
I remember going to the store and picking up a 1600 Microsoft points card and getting this game… I remember playing hunger games with friends surviving with friends in survival worlds I’m super glad to say I’m still friends with atleast 2 of the people to this day this vid made my day because you had similar experiences to what I did back in the day thanks for this
I got my first xbox 360 for christmas 2020. It came with minecraft i got to play it for the first time. I only had a 3ds before and didnt have minecraft on it. I was 11 when i first played minecraft, and it was the best. The textures, the sounds, the builds, and the music was so perfect. I might even revisit the 360 version today right now.
Man I’m gonna miss old Minecraft Rip to old Minecraft edition 2010-2019 and at the beginning of the video I remember watching that, it was really sad how it said his friends last online was 9 or 10 years ago 😢

Hey just saw this video on recommended (I subbed to you btw) anyways I'm going to share my experiences with you guys. In 2013 my older half brother bought Minecraft at Oogie games or Gamestop (I cant remember). This was when I was 9 years old back then and im turning 20 this Sunday which is crazy! but anyways he started playing it on the Xbox 360 and I instantly loved the game. It was my favorite video game of all time for me. I would play/learn the game while playing wth my 2 brothers and a few friends from school just hanging out building cool stuff in creative and playing survival mode aswell. The thing I loved about was those mash packs! I remember playing the Halo, Halloween, Christmas, Candy etc back then. The thing which was the best was I also did meet some other kids in Xbox Partys. It was such a vibe making new friends and talking about Minecraft at school all the time. Then came Minecraft TH-cam which BennySGB mentioned. I instantly got into StampyLongNose, DanTDM, IBallisticSquid, PrestonPlayz, Captain Sparklez etc, that's all I mainly watched back then. In 2016 the minigames came out on Xbox which I loved although I wished that it had Skywars, Survival Games, Micro Battles, The Walls etc. All those minigames were on PC unfortunalty but I loved watching Preston play on those Minecraft servers like Hypixel. Minecraft now on Bedrock isn't the same which mostly everyone can agree on that. I wish Java was on console so that us Minecraft OGs can relive those days. I do have a PC but I cant play on Keyboard And Mouse unfortunalty but OG Minecraft will always be on top and all those memories I made with my brothers, friends and those worlds we all created I will never ever forget those glory days. I haven't been on my Xbox 360 in forever but now that I saw this video I might just revisit OG Minecraft! Thank you BennySGB for this video you put out and I hope everyone stays safe!

One thing I think helped foster the sense of community was the limited world sizes. Like, having infinite worlds is cool and gives lots of extra playtime, but there was something nice about having a smaller, limited world where everything was closer together and easier to get to. It also incentivised everyone building closer to each other, and making it actually feel more like a multiplayer experience, rather than everyones bases all spread out and everyone barely interacting. I do kinda miss that when playing with my friends on java nowadays. Im hoping that the peeps working on Legacy4J are able to recreate, or at least emulate that feature. Im sure it would be tricky as fitting just about every biome in a limited scope would require rewriting world gen, but I have hope.
I'm late gen z so I had both Xbox 360 edition and Xbox one edition and those were some of my best childhood memories

I first started playing minecraft just over 10 years ago when I was using a buddy of mines XBox 360. Those were good times. It hits different now that it's changed to bedrock edition.
I am 9-10 years old but I started playing on my PS3 and I had Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 OG and Split second. And when I was younger like 4-5 years old, I asked my dad for a new game and I said Minecraft, I wanted sooo much Minecraft because I saw other TH-camrs playing Minecraft. I was lucky that Minecraft existed on PS3 and you wonder how did you get Minecraft on PS3 in 2019-2020 (if you wondered that's when I started to play Minecraft) well I got it from OLX and then I started to play with my friends Ali and Marc. We only had 2 controllers and we had to play only 2 and 1 person after every 5 minutes needed to give to the other person the controller. And I remembered that I maked a GIANT HOUSE out of sand, cobblestone, Oak Planks and Diamond Ores. And after 3 years or I don't know I had to make a change, so this year in May I made the biggest change of the house. Also I had two dogs Willy and Doggy. (Probably the weirdest dog names) and I still play on my PS3 but in June-July 2023 I got a PS5. And that's my entire HISTORY HOW I PLAYED MINECRAFT AND HOW I START WITH WHO AND EVERYTHING!

I never played Minecraft on Xbox but I played it on ps3 everyday when I was very young and every time my cousins visit me we play Minecraft split screen non stop (4 player split screen) and I beg my cousin’s parents to stay with us for one day so that we can play all day long. (Another topic but with the same game) and as I remember when I had an iPad that was 8 years ago and I had Minecraft on it and the version is VERY old that before hunger mechanic was added that I used to play it all the time (and that was before I play ps3) that I had a blast playing it and when my cousin came to visit me I gave him the iPad to try and he built a glass home while he is in survival (I am pretty sure you will have some of the blocks with infinite source of them back then) and a horde of zombies went into the door trying to get in and I decided to troll him and I broke the door to get him killed and SOMEHOW he got jumpscared even tho he knew it was coming.
Dude, I remember everyday after doing chores and stuff I was able to play the Xbox 360 with my sister and we would always play the sword fighting, the elytra flying, the tnt one, and the tutorial world. Every time we made a new tutorial world we would always get the diamonds from the diamond pickaxe at the start
After Minecraft 360 come out me and my cousin play it for 24/7 and now to still play it to this day
this is just the best version ever, not because of its quality or smth like this, its because of the whole experience it gave us, the tutorial, split screen, damm i remember playing this with my sister and with my cousin years ago, the different words with the textures, the Halloween one, Fallout, Christmas, Pirates of Caribean!, and one of the best parts, the game modes, the battle royale, shovel one, and the elytra race was just pure tension and emotion together.
Anyways, those are memories that will never come back, but yo, don't be sad! we will always remember all of this and keep in our hearts those happy memories...
I personally have nostalgia for the Xbox One edition because me and my three other brothers had the trial version and I remember that we would get stuck in the tutorial and when we had finished, we would either race to get the diamond and the diamond sword, or build up the broken up old house. We built it up two stories with a ladder to get to the second floor. We had finished it right before the trial timer ran out, and we were so proud with/ of ourselves, while being sad/ devastated because it wouldn’t save!😢But I played the trial again last year and loved it and felt a lot/ ton of nostalgia. So in 2023 I asked it for my birthday and I got it and I am now making videos!😊 If you have taken time out of your day to read this, I hope you enjoyed and I want you to succeed in everything you do!😊

I never had minecraft for xbox 360, but I had friends who did and we made memories playing together and griefing the christmas and halloween worlds
I loved playing the tutorial worlds and then redesigning the insides in creative mode
The first time I was ever introduced to this game was when I was only about 3 years old, me and my cousin used to play split screen and we had this candy texture pack. I remember making random houses in caves or I would just make my own. I literally can’t stop crying, I love this game and I mean it with all my heart. I miss the good old days, even though I was still small, I still got to experience the memorable childhood memories everyone else had. After a few years, I couldn’t play the game so I had to play rip offs. When I turned 7 I got my first IPad and I finally had Minecraft, at this point I was introduced to the Minecraft Xbox edition, I remember playing all the cool game modes. I would destroy villages, build houses out of the most rarest materials and I was so scared of survival so I would always play creative. Man... I wish I could live it again, nowadays I have school work, studies and so much to do, I wish I didn’t have to do so much like when I was little. I also had a friend who used to play Minecraft with me, I would see him every Wednesday, we played games like bedwars and created so much. We would go outside and pretend we were actually playing Minecraft irl. Like making pretend houses , sticks as tools and leaves as beds. “ 5 more minutes until we have to go” said his dad, “ aw man, ok let’s go outside and play Minecraft”. ( 3 minutes later). “ ok bye, thanks for playing, said my friend,” bye, see you soon 😉” well, that’s the last time I saw him, I remember asking my other friend who also knew him, but nothing, no info, nothing... never saw him again in my life, Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened...😃
I still remember when I first learned of the existence of Minecraft on the Xbox 360. I think someone in my class mentioned something about the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft and I yelled out loud "WAIT MINECRAFT IS ON XBOX 360 NOW?!?!" and people just kinda looked at me like I was dumb, because apparently that was common knowledge. The reason I didn't know about it, is because I had no internet at the time and the physical version of the game wasn't out yet, so you could only get it through Xbox Live. After the physical release came out, my auntie saw it available at EB Games or something and gifted it to me for my birthday. I also still own that very same copy of Minecraft to this day. Unfortunately, at this time and for the next 1 or 2 years, I was banned from playing videogames. The reason for this is because I was doing terribly at school and my Dad thought the reason for that was because I was playing too much videogames. Turned out to be superstition, as I had no improvement. In the mean time, I had a copy of the legendary Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition in my possession, but I couldn't play it. But whenever I went to go to my friends house, I was allowed to bring the game over to play with him. That was when I finally got to experience it for the first time. I eventually just lent him the game for the indefinite future. When I finally was unbanned from playing videogames, that's when I proceeded to sink countless hours into the game, enjoying every second of it. Recently, I've gone back to the legacy versions of the game, but this time on PlayStation. I recently platinumed the atrocious Vita port and platinumed the PS3 version alongside getting every DLC trophy and I had a blast with it.

I didn't get to play online back in the day until the Xbox One edition, but it was a blast when I finally did. I've got some wild stories to tell. Sadly just about everyone I either don't recognize anymore or they moved on.

I’m only 13 but I had the Xbox one version of the game maybe it’s not the same but I should remember those feelings when I didn’t fight my neighbors over we play split screen for hours on and it might be raining but we crossed the streets and storms in terrible weather, so we could sit down for hours and play this version of Minecraftthis time was really paradise. I also remember going to a haircut place where I get buzzed up real nice but they had an Xbox 360 and I always used to play the game there and it was just very simple and easy for me to learn as I was only four years old when I started playing.
This was my childhood, explained in 5 minutes. Simple, yet fun.
The online games were so fun
I love the Xbox 360 edition of minecraft. I was never able to play online as when I had the resources to do so the servers were already shut down. But still, it is a really good game in the long run.
Also I find it funny that I found this video searching for carpet dupers while actively playing on my TU73 survival world after I found the end portal

I downloaded the xbox emulator on my computer. Then I discovered that in 360 Minecraft, the blocks have more shadows, making the picture quality higher and giving it a childhood feel.
Now there are very few shadows, making the picture quality more vivid.
Dude, it’s just super heartbreaking to see that the game is barely touched anymore man. I spent hours in creative making hundreds of things I saw off TH-cam and I enjoyed every second of it, good times man 😢😢😢. Also when people say we’re just blinded by nostalgia, it really doesn’t make sense to me, we enjoyed the game so of course we’re gonna be “blinded” by nostalgia! It’s all because we actually had games we as players actually loved and played for such a long time, making countless, precious memories with them

Anyways, love the sans theme in the background. My favorite Minecraft series was from Achievement Hunter with their Lets Play series. I loved playing the Xbox 360 edition and watching them play. Too bad Ryan kinda tainted all those good memories. It's a damn shame.
I used to have a Clan (ah good old xbox clans) that played Black Ops Zombies and then we'd get on Minecraft to play everyday. Shortly after Black Ops 2 came out, they all just stopped getting online. I don't know where they all went in life, but I hope they're all doing well. Playing both Munecraft and COD in its prime back on the Xbox 360 sure was an amazing time to be alive and one of my favorite parts of my childhood.

They should bring back the modifying flat worlds so you can have like one layer water one layer sand and another stone it was just so fun to fill the flat with tnt on every layer and blow it up
I never owned a 360, but I did own a Wii u. Played this with my brother all the time and we would have such a great time. I know it’s not the 360 version but every console port was the same, just ported to different consoles. We sold the Wii u for the switch and I didn’t think much about it but now I just wanna play the world again with my brother 😢

I never owned Xbox 360 edition but I do have a Xbox One Edition that I made a bunch of creative worlds. Where My siblings would be flaming each other, and the mini games especially snowballs were super chaotic.

I remember my local grocery store back then had like a shop where you can insert 5 Peso coins to play on their xbox 360s for 20 minutes. I remember inserting 5, 5 peso coins to play for like an hour and I would play minecraft on the shop's xbox 360 and I was mersmerized at how different the xbox 360 edition was compared to pocket edition and I would always play minecraft on that shop's xbox 360s until my parents were done shopping for their groceries. Good times. :)

I loved this version and nostalgia is a KEY FACTOR but also some other things:
I got the game when i was younger and because i lived in an apartment at the time, I never had friends to play it with. Meaning every world I made or played was completely by myself. This is really sad to look back on, but in retrospect, I'm happy because i didn't think it was sad back then. I used to play the minigames by myself and try to win (glide was so fun) and the fact that i never once questioned myself, is very joyous to me.
Since then, I recently discovered communites for Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition, and joining it has helped me a lot. The social aspect of back then's online gaming was so simple yet so functional and good. It pisses me off about the shit kids watch these days, simply because theres a good chance that they'll never get the chance to watch the good mc content with Stampy and DanTDM and all the other ones out there.
sorry for ranting, i just love my xbox 360. :)
i didnt play Xbox 360 edition but i did play Xbox one edition, which all of my friends still play to this day
i wanted minecraft so bad, and so did my little sister. we'd beg our grandma to get us it, and because we own an xbox 360, we wanted it on the xbox. somehow we found the xbox 360 edition on walmart and got it. yeah, it's gonna be on 1.9 for basically forever, but I'm happy, and so is my sister! i still play it to this day 😌

I never had 360 edition but I did have the Wii U edition which was a very similar version. I remember being so happy to finally be able to play on the big screen and play on the super Mario mashup pack. Unfortunately, since the Wii U edition didn’t come out until 2015, I was only able to experience this game for about 3 years until the better together update came out. I got to admit, the new bedrock has been pretty good but, definitely not as good and nostalgic as the console edition.

I have officially beaten the Xbox one version of legacy twice. Been playing Minecraft for almost 9 years now next year. I beat it the first time with a friend, the second time alone with full enchanted diamond armor and tools. Just about all of my diamond gear would have broken like 4 times over if it weren’t for my anvil. My pickaxe especially. Right now it has like 2 pixels of durability left lol. Killing the dragon gave me 61 levels of xp.
I play the xbox one edition its still really good.
