    Glad to see these corals thriving in WWC holding tanks. Baffles the mind that some organizations don’t associate with the hobby meanwhile hobbyists are fueling the innovation of the technology. I love the Caribbean LPS that I keep (hitchhikers).

      The hobby didn't contribute anything they sold a old coral farm. Thats it. Wwc has no hand in this at all.

      @insanity4224 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jakesreef1730 I’m sorry you completely missed my point I’m not talking about the farm itself I’m talking about the methods and equipment that only exist because of the hobby. Thanks to the hobby scientists can simply buy reef gear and grow corals. There’s no way reefing hasn’t contributed to reef restoration and science. Thanks for the random negative comment though, I can’t believe I even had to write this tbh.

    If yall really want to save the Florida and Caribbean coral you would lift the collection band and let hobbyists start growing and propagating them. The reef community as a whole can do alot more than one coral farm. And you can use the tax money from the collection of the coral to further your research. This would also help people know how beautiful the local to the states coral are.

I think the main problem is big companies and there chemicals. And if the entire US stop using all fossil fuels it wouldn't change anything. China, India, Russia on an on. Put out more pollution that the US does.
