from Japan. I really really love it! some people say songs and characters are new but I think these new songs and movies used in this program were made with huge inspiration of old disney animations. songs are changed but message have never been changed. Disney films are always nice!
This show reminds me more of the shows in the 90's in terms of composition. A montage of heroes followed by menacing villains with the heroes winning. Though Wishes was more organized, I appreciate all they put into this show. They updated it for my generation, who most of which are having kids of their own and travel to Disney often. can't wait to see this in October!
I went to Disney World for my first time in August and it was the most beautiful and incredible thing I have ever see. I love Disney more than a lot of things and I remember seeing this firework show for the first time and I cried so so much. Easily the best experience of my life and as I just re-watched it I bawled my eyes out AHHHHH I MISS DISNEY
I was really worried when they said that they were getting rid of Wishes, but this made me tear up so much more!! It was so amazing to see the "forgotten" movies in there - especially using the Hercules song toward the end.. it was just beautiful and I can't wait to be there watching it myself one day! I'm so impressed!

I took my wife to Disney World last March for our honeymoon. It was my third time here but her first and we were both blown away by this show. I don't see Disney topping this one. Don't care how old you are, this place overwhelms you. Can't wait to come back.

When I went to Disney World, It was a Christmas present, it was a truly magical experience, I saw these fireworks when I was in fantasyland, and It was great spending time with my dad and mom and my brother, I was speechless about how beautiful it was.
O cried like a Child when I watched. It's so beautiful, you Just really knows How perfect it's when you see personaly. It's amazing, It was my First day of my First visit on Disney!!! So It was so Special! Unforgetable!!!!!!! I'll never forget for sure!

FINALLY! A video of this show that has the Made with Magic Ears in the frame! I seriously don't know why they didn't hand them out to celebrate the premiere. With that many people packed in to the hub, it would have been amazing to see how the ears react in such a large group.
Thank you SO much for sharing this, and for putting the majority of the focus on the CASTLE. Ever since Disney started teasing us on their channel about bringing back a few of their old school 2D animators to create sequences just for this show, I've been giddy to see it. Sadly, I can't afford a trip down to Florida from up here in NJ, nor can I afford the cost of a ticket to ANY of the parks (rent, insurance, keeping myself, my cat, and my elderly mother fed, etc), so I eternally grateful when those who CAN and do visit record and post their park videos. It's not the same, but it's still at least a taste of the magic that I love. Again, thank you for sharing with us!
But...it’s a FIREWORKS show, so the focus should be on the fireworks, not on the castle. That’s 90% of the reason I don’t like the show-I find the projections to be distracting and unnecessary. I mean, there’s even another show that is dedicated to the projections, so why do they need to be with the fireworks?! I can tolerate watching the fireworks as I walk through the park now, but I miss being able to watch wishes in front of the castle and not have the projections get in the way.
Bee R. I’m sorry you can’t afford to see this right now but you must try before you die! No video can ever compare to the beauty and uncontrollable feelings that you have while enjoying this moment. Consider off season. Try to save $10 until you’ve saved enough to go! NJ to FL isn’t too bad. Sure the tickets get ridiculous, but sometimes there’s super deals. Even if you only spend two days here, it’ll be completely worth it.
Wow! The new light effects are great! Seeing this show, I see the new Disney's era. More technology and more "stimulus" in the new shows and attractions, with more 'things' happening and a 'less emotional' atmosphere. I know a lot of people will love the new show, while some of the "classic" disney guests will miss "Wishes" with its deep sentimental atmosphere. And this is a time that wll never returns.

this is such great footage having a close camera and a far one to better show the projections and the fireworks that go along with it. Ive seen so many recordings that had them constantly zooming in and out or skipping parts. I appreciate seeing it fully!
While Wishes still holds the #1 spot for me in terms of the "Disney Magic" feeling it gives you, this one is a close second. There were quite a few moments where I found myself feeling that magic from the music and effects. The last min or so of music could've had a bit more of a magic-kick to it, and not so much a power pop feel, but that's pretty much all I have against it. Everything else was simply wonderful. ^_^

it was really cool but it didn't give me the same warm feeling wishes did. i think it was because there was a little too much going on so i didn't know where to focus so i could try and take it all in.
I think your attempt at capturing the show was admirable. It's true there is so much wonderful stuff going on on the castle as well as the sky. Your close up stuff was great but your long shot camera, most of the shots were over exposed and sometimes out of focus. I would have had longer and un-interrupted close up shots of the castle since that is your best footage. Did I mention that most of your photography was great? Anyways, thanks for sharing!

I do still really love Wishes, it just really pulled on my heart strings and made me tear up whereas this one just made me smile - however I did enjoy it a lot. I loved to see Moana & Toy Story but I would've have liked to see the classics a bit more because I follow the whole history with Walt I find it interesting and I think it would have been good to give Snow White, Cinderella, sleeping beauty & Peter Pan bigger segments, but a change is always nice. The Graphics on the castle and the bright fireworks were amazing. Other thoughts?X
I saw this last week at Disneyworld for April Vacation and we were bummed out to know that they don't do the parade anymore but we were excited to see this new performance. I was singing for the Moana part and I think this lady heard me sing and I think started looking at me. idk but it was awkward XD
