I’m a 13 year old. I rarely cry at things that are sentimental, but watching Happily Ever after last night really made me feel like I was home. It touched me in a way that nothing else has ever before.I was SHAKING. The tears were rolling down my face and I didn’t care. The Magic Kingdom is the best place in the world.
Thank you Tom! This means so much to me. It means I survived Covid, getting hit by a car, and a family loss. A perfect orchestration and arrangement, telling a story of hope and perseverance. A new beginning.
I lost my father right before they brought Harmonious and Enchantment. Harmonious always hit the spot but Happily Ever After and Wishes never miss the mark since those are my memories with him. I'm right there with you.
To me, these lyric completely summarize the events of the past few years: “The battles, the stories, The losses and all the glories. We’re changed by the way We live every day.”
I was reading some of the comments. This is what Disney magic is really about. We are united together with this show and feel each others special meanings it brings. This is truly magical when Disney listens to it fans and delivers. Maybe they had planned to bring HEA back all along, maybe not. Thank you Disney, thank you Tom and staff for all you do to bring us this magic.
I just saw this live a few weeks ago. Never seen it before. My first Disney trip in 10 years. I cried like baby and had an experience that I knew would change me forever. It came at the perfect time in my life. I watch this almost everyday and it keeps inspiring me to follow my dreams. I cry everytime I watch it. Disney nailed this! It’s like nothing else. ❤
I started crying when I saw a child on someone shoulder dressed as a princess reaching out to the sky with both hands out during the go the distance song. This show is for the youth I bet that was a great moment for her 😭
Mr. Walt Disney and Mr. Roy Disney are probably smiling and pleased in Heaven. I am so thankful that this was brought back and you shared it with all of us. Thank you so much.
Hands down Disney's best ever firework show, seeing Happily Ever After again just brings happiness to slot of people. I hope the show stays for longer than expected!
Man magic kingdom is always our last park at Disney world and this show makes me cry every time my family usually visits every park and rides every ride the fireworks really make you take it all in. After all the consecutive days of walking getting on rides seeing the fireworks is just magical. It’s also sad that this is the last part of your Disney journey so it’s kinda sad. Disney is such a magical experience it’s like we got to see all these characters and their worlds through the rides and you see the characters on the castle it’s just so magical. I am so thankful I got to experience the fireworks in person!
My eyes always get teary when “you’ll be in my heart” starts to play. In this video and in person. I love HEA, by far the best firework and music show Disney does.
I’ve never seen this in person, but I cry every time. Something about it just hits home and makes me feel like a child again, filled with wonderment and happiness.
It is really something to see in person. If you’re able to make it happen, please do. I saw it five years ago. This show has better technics and they changed a little bit here and there, for the better IMO. Disney probably learned from the first time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate that you kept the camera in one spot, and didn't over produce the video. I love some of the high quality recordings out there on TH-cam, but they all keep changing the camera every 10 seconds and it makes it really hard to just enjoy the show. Thank you a thousand times.
Still a fantastic show. And to get the Partners statue framed perfectly in the shot? It just enhances it. Thank you WDWNT for bringing all of us along with you.
Was there a few days ago…..got choked up during the little mermaid song….. it’s been 10 years since I’ve been back and it was truly overwhelming. So beautiful.
It makes me cry every time... breathtaking... nothing else comes close. I didn't know they were bringing it back so I feel soooooooo happy! Thanks for posting this.... it's almost like I'm there!
I’m definitely proud of seeing this wonderful nighttime spectacular returning to the Magic Kingdom. Also, it’s always a delight of hearing the excitement of park guests and experiencing a dazzling sight like this. Goodbye Disney Enchantment, don’t worry, nobody will miss you at all.
I was so sad that I had to move my second WDW trip from September last year to September this year due personal reasons but now I’m so happy I had to. Tron is open, seeing Happily Ever After again (my first trip WDW was February 2020 so I saw the show back then); delaying my trip a year might be the best thing in the end. Can’t wait to see this again in September!
Last night was our last evening at WDW. It was several weeks ago when I lost my great aunt. Just this past week during my trip to Disney, I did a 10K RunDisney event to try and prove to doubters that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. And while I was running, the one person I thought of was my late great aunt who was laid to rest outside Miami (not far from Disney World). So watching this firework show last night with the thoughts of my great aunt racing through my mind brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Disney for putting a smile on my face again and lifting my spirits after such a personal tragic year thus far. Hopefully things will be better down the road. And to those of you that are dealing with something tragic, personal in your life, don’t give up and keep moving forward! I promise you, you’ll make it!
This show is everything... Happily Ever After is coming back and I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Thank you Disneyyyyyy!!!!!!! My heart is so happy... I cry every time!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely love the firework motives, the hearts when it said heart and the bells during Out There, the sign from the boat during Moana‘s bit. Incredible!
Watched a side by side of the last show to this. I think I noticed a lot more laser light and smoke after the "battle" scene. It might just be because the wind wasn't pushing it out as much, but it looked so cool with the castle all destroyed! So glad this show is back!
OMG that was incredible the lighting effects are awesome, and yes as always I cried when Tink flew across the sky. THE best fireworks at MK, cant wait to see it in person

Thank you so much for posting this. We will be there to see it in person next month and I can’t wait. I didn’t realize how much I needed Happily Ever After until I saw it again.

Or they can hire someone to score a new firework show, like they did for illuminations. Tired of them just sampling movies and slapping it together for 20 mins and calling it a day.
I'm here for the 7th time since I went to magic Kingdom 1 year ago, and it still fells like the first time I watched the show live. Disney really know how to work with our emotions. I hope they never lose it.

It's still far away from redemption. Rides are breaking down, logs are sinking, even the Monorail is having problems.
I read this in the narrators voice and its perfect
If that was true Wishes! would return
No disrespect to the other shows, but Happily Ever After really is the best one
It hits different, everything is perfect ❤
Just the way DLForever and Wondrous feel but even better
It's the only one that elicits so much emotion from so many people. So, so good.
Wishes is what I grew up on, so I think it still takes the cake for me as it is very dear to me, but I do love Happily Ever After
It honestly does!!
