back in the early 90's my mom got the electric griddle out and set it on the lowest temp which i think was bout 110°F and let it warm up, then put a piece of paper on it and let us draw on it while the crayons melted in the process. was pretty fun and a cool little science experiment!

I thought they had colored glue at the Dollar Tree stores. I know they at least have colored glitter glue for the smaller glue guns. But thought they had just regular colored glue sticks too. 🤷♀ Wow! That turned out Amazing!!!! Wow Wow WOW!!!! 😍😲💖❤💖

It even has a fancy name.. It's called encaustic. Check out the Roman - era Egyptian mummy portraits. Totally amazing! Untempered masonite makes a terrific substrate. For your best paintings try Claybord - it's wonderful stuff.
Another great video. And I must say thanks for inspiring me to add a airbrush to my arsenal, I do street art with rattle can spray paint and the fine lines of the airbrush is a really good addition to detail my work even more.

Long ago, when i was a pre school teacher, i had an old time hot plate that was meant to keep appetizers warm. It didnt get real hot, just a little hot, and was from maybe the 1970s. The kids would lay the paper on top of this warmer plate and color and it came out so nice. They had to work slow, and they found it really calming.
When I was a kid, I used to melt crayons in a tin foil pie pan set on top of my bedside lamp. Worked like a charm. Then I would paint with the melted wax. Way easier than this.

Anyway, I figured why not watch after all what could possibly go wrong. I think it was a brilliant idea to resin it. It encapsulated everything and made the colors pop even more.

I was wondering that too. I have a small glue gun without the stand and I was wondering if that would help with watching the color come out
*******There is a Crayon Melter made by Crayola....And it has a cutter to cut the paper off the crayons that comes with the melter.....
