I find the Anatomy Dr makes me so nervous compared to my OB. I researched and choose my OB, but the Anatomy Dr I had no control over. I had my third Anatomy today. I’m 22 weeks, 2 days. I had a scan at 12 weeks, then 20 weeks, then 22 weeks.
Just had my anatomy scan, everything went well (thank God!). I too wasn’t allowed to record which sucked bc I would have loved to have that on video. Also they wanted an empty bladder for this scan. Very informative video!
Thanks for sharing your experience! I have my scan this upcoming week, i am a little nervous but excited! I was told that I do not need a full bladder for this scan so hmm. So i guess each place is different.
Thanks for watching!! That’s so interesting - every practice must be different. Are you finding out what you’re having? Wishing you a wonderful scan! It’s so fun to get to see the baby 🥰🥰
I'm having my anatomy scan tomorrow, and they told me a full bladder is not needed for me either. I already know I'm having a baby girl (based on the genetic testing that we did early on in the pregnancy), but it's going to be exciting to see the baby anyway!
My wife and I are super excited! I’m also a little nervous though. Our anatomy scan is on Halloween! Same day as our gender reveal. It worked out great, because my doctor will only do the anatomy scan at exactly 20 weeks. We planned the gender reveal for Halloween not knowing that. It just so happens I’ll be exactly 20 weeks on Halloween lol.
My anatomy scan is coming up on 4.10.19 and I was so nervous about what was going to take place. Thank you sooooo much for this video it definitely eases my nerves!

Update: Just had my scan yesterday & it was the same as all my other ultrasounds. My baby boy wasn't for the ut so I had to move side to side, they jiggled my belly & he was so uncooperative but they got all they needed 😂 I don't believe I got his length but he's weighing 10oz. & right on track! I'm getting mine in a couple weeks, I was & still am kinda nervous because I'm high risk but overall, my baby boy is healthy as of right now. I can't film at either office so it's sucks not having the footage... I wasn't told to have a full bladder at any ultrasound yet but I've heard that most practices prefer it. Interesting. Thank you for this video! Definitely calmed my nerves

I had my anatomy scan 3 days ago. I was nervous about it because two days prior, I had high blood pressure. Everything went well, I didn't need to have my bladder full luckily. I'm having another boy and I'm excited.
I got my anatomy scan at 18 wks 4 days, the lady doing my ultrasound was very open with answering questions and told me she's scanned thousands of babies and didn't see anything alarming about my baby. So maybe it's different in different places 🤷🏼♀️
They are allowed to answer any questions if the results are normal. If there are any abnormalities, they are not supposed to say anything. Some techs opt to just not say anything regardless which is totally find to do too.
So I had my anatomy scan today at 21 wks pregnant and they made me pee before I had it done. So not every place is the same. But it was about 40 mins bc the machine messed up and had to reboot it but my baby was very healthy and growing right. Already 1lb and it was like a regular ultrasound except longer and I got to see his whole body and movements. He even gave a thumbs up and showing his fist ready to fight lol.
This is my first pregnancy. I just had a pre or a semi anatomy scan at 15weeks bc I had a leep procedure back in 09. My next one is in September for 20wk scan.
