I LOVE all your videos! Please keep them coming! A quick question - Many health professionals on Instagram (nutritionists, functional doctors, gut health specialists etc) say it's not necessary to avoid foods as long as you focus on getting your microbiome back in order (as they say the reason your immune system reacts to foods is because you aren't digesting them properly due to an imbalanced microbiome). To do this, they often recommend antimicrobials, probiotics and adding heaps more variety (especially plants) to your diet. So in your view, if someone is doing all these rebalancing steps, would you still recommend they avoid foods they are sensitive to? And generally, have you found that many people can add sensitive foods back in without causing inflammation once their overall gut health has improved?

First, thank you for sharing the love! Second, I too have heard many health professionals tell people that they don't have to avoid foods if they do________ (fill in the blank). In this case it's rebalancing the microbiome. So let me ask you, if you have celiac disease and you rebalance the microbiome, can you reintroduce gluten? Of course not. And it's not because celiac disease is special, it's because it's been well studied and we know that you can't do this. However, that doesn't mean that you can never add a food back in. It's a very complex issue that I can't adequately address here. Sometimes you can add foods back in, but often you can't. I'll try to do a series on this in the future. Thanks for the idea!

@@IBSTreatmentCenter Thank you for the reply. Interesting and yes, clearly a very complex issue so that would be great if you could do a series on this topic in the future. Look forward to it.

I often bring food I avoid for my gut such as coffee, spicy food back after some time I managed my IBS simply because I forgot the trouble I suffered 😅, then I get new round of IBS again and I have to carefully avoid all bunch of foods.

No wonder I had a problem determining how to deal with stomach issues after shingles seemed to have killed off some nerves. After giving up bread and being very happy on low carb for a long time, a lot of onions and garlic gave me a killer bout of distress. Your videos are helping to sort out the problem, and when in doubt I turn to you. Thank you.

I just a food intolerence test using Bioresonance to determine what Food and spices, etc. I am most intolerent to. Its amazing how many things I eat all the time are at a high level. The goal is to elminate everything on a level 2 & 3 for 6-8 weeks to heal the gut and then incorporate things back slowly to see what is really affecting me. My LPR has been off the charts for the last couple if months, I figured this may help heal me.

@@yvettegarcia2497 In my experience it's not very reproducible. It's very dependent on the practitioner using it. So two different practitioners are likely to get two different results.

You are so amazing! It sounds so much like me! All docs I've been to couldn't find the root cause of me sickness. I get sick almost every month and everything seems to be normal (blood tests) that no one could tell why. But i slowly think gluten is the problem for my body. I get infections and inflammation almost every time after certain food or drinks. But because im not properly diagnosed, i didn't know what else i had to do.

I would definitely definitely like to hear from you more because I have got as I was told IBS I have been going through the stores trying to figure out what this and what that is going to make me feel like I do there's times I get so sick to my stomach and it hurts him real bad and I even get impacted sometimes it's awful. If you can just keep showing these videos and I'm going to tell my GI doctor I mean the last time I had a colonoscopy Stockton valve surgery where they took 18 in of my intestines out and part of my bowel surgery and it was really hard to go through the worst pain I've ever felt in my life I thought I was going to to a GI doctor that I normally don't go and see and finally after I got out of it they sent me back to my regular GI doctor that I've known since 2000 and he's really good but he's getting booked and I'm going to call him first thing Monday. I can't take this no more I've done everything I've had an allergy testing for what you breathing stuff but in everything they tested before I was allergic to mold was the worst. But I've had no food allergies so I'm going to call my family doctor and see what she says and see if she can get me in to see an allergist doctor because I can't go on like this I'm not I'm missing everything in life. So please if you can help me and send more videos out and explain more about those allergy doctors and what they do and what they don't do cuz I really do need help I can't go on living like this because this is not living. Thank you so much Kim Reed.
I don't want to keep living like this

I have terrible joint pain, have had it for years, doctors I see just prescribe anti inflammatory medication, which, apart from being next to useless also bring their own problems. Surely by now there would be evidence somewhere that points to a particular food that brings on joint pain in people?
