  • Living St. Louis Producers Jim Kirchherr and Patrick Murphy get a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the planning of the annual Veiled Prophet Parade. Since 1878, the VP parade has featured elaborate, imaginative and colorful floats that are created by a staff of some 1,500 talented artists and craftsmen.

Used to go to the parade all the time as a kid, but I never knew what the group represented.

Listening to white supremacy talk about itself and it's past so reverently is honestly chilling.

A racist/ mardi gras lite parade. Who knows what it all means. I watched it as a child and I know it was a racist parade

Harris Stowe is a racist college, and that's accepted to be racists toward whites, what's your point? Blacks are racist toward whites, and whites toward blacks, you won't stop racism.
