I was considering buying from this company. As a fellow technician, it's nice to see what your buying behind the scenes. Websites don't always explain that. This makes me feel better about this brand.
Really enjoying these educational tours! Lacking Kyle sauce though. Would have loved a little funny overlay popping every time the forklift horn meep'd, shakas for dan commentary etc.
I realized something, why do aftermarket rotors or maybe some original factory rotors. They don't craft their brand name on the rotors. So I were to buy from my friends a set of used stoptech rotors. How would I check whether it's stoptech rotors or not?
Jay Gill I feel like that’s all guys xD I have no clue how to use any CAD programs, that wouldn’t stop me from accepting a 5-axis CNC if someone offered me one for some god damned reason 🤷🏼♂️🤣
The thing about the rubber brake lines expanding, thus not full power to the caliber versus stainless brake lines is nonsense. The OEM engineered and designed the brake system on a car to work within the specifications that account for the expansion.
That dude is a little hyper...for a guy stopping things he’s kinda moving a bit fast 😂 it’s gonna start like this then be an end product... yeah... that seems legit
And what would you be like? Would you rather 2 experts on brakes were yarning about them then youd be able to complain about how it was to official ? We dont dont know how much time he had with the guy or anything just appreciate the content.
I don't follow Hoonigan, is Dan special? I mean "special"? Did they purposely send the tard for entertainment's sake or is he the brains behind the operation?
Stoptech is a joke, I got a pair of rotors from them and I regret it, squealing as hell and when I try to contact them to return or get new ones never had a answer
Hearing details like that really help justify why all parts are not the same price. Great tour.
Guy: explaining the process
Dan: “look at all this... tools”
Dan: "How much does that weigh?"
Guy: "Yeah"
"such a thick piece of stuff..."
Glad you listened and posted this after the main episode! Cheers!
Take a shot everytime he puts his hands on his hips!!!
How It’s Made: Hoonigan Edition
“Remember that color? That weird one...” lol. Dan, they picked that color! I don’t think they thought it was weird. Haha

Danger Dan looks like a kid in a candy store. You could tell he was in heaven while observing one thing or another. Great tour.
So kewl, I had watch a few times to take it all in.... I never would have thought so many machine went into making some of these products
Loving these shop tour videos
Im actually waiting for my stop tech pads and rotors from summit racing!
This is perfect!
What about The Calipers lol
@@riyuiwashere What if he's only doing pads and rotors lol
Loving the build danger dan. Kinda miss you saying Garage Garage. Only you and Hert can say it right
Sooo much to see. Wish the video was much longer, awesome process 😊
Just ordered a set of pads and rotors for My Mustang from American Muscle! Good timing!
Really enjoying these educational tours! Lacking Kyle sauce though. Would have loved a little funny overlay popping every time the forklift horn meep'd, shakas for dan commentary etc.
They just don't know who's doin this walk through with em! Danger Dan is a beast!
Love to see the Fadal putting in work 9:09
That's cnc machining for ya if the machines working you are working

So they have a 5-axis machine, and they are deburring parts by hand with a whirly bur? Hmm
A ton of wasted productivity. That machine operator could be working at least a second mill
@@jonathantaylor2584 makes you wonder doesn't it
This was cool. But that Wilwood tour was wayy better.

Dans like me... tttoooooooooollllss. I want but at the same time what would I do with them, I’ll figure it out later, want more tools
I really wish they made a big brake kit for 2015+ Mustangs
They probably do,just need to call them and ask.
Or they might do a custom fitment.
@@benjaminfranklyn604 for sure. Wouldn't be cheap tho
Dakar Yellow calipers.
Looks like John Deere Yellow from here, but I see more fields than deserts.
stoptech wow

Did time dint skip the ad lol
Dealer in Spain ????
I guess i need another tutorial on how to fix my car 😁
And for everyone reading this...never ever buy drilled rotors. I had stoptech, even theirs crack over time.
Over how long ?
How many miles ?
Track days ?
I have had a set for five plus years and 60000 miles with no issues and living up north in the rust belt !
Would hesitate to buy another set !
nice

Love these manufacturers tours, but Dan seems out of his depth. Love Dan, but these videos could use a bit more than... "cool, wow lots of tool, etc."
