Maybe not the case here, but the faster you go, the more paper work is involved. A certified roll cage needs to have test pieces sent to testing and the you get a tag that you have to weld to that cage, for example.
This is probably my least favorite part of this series is Dan seeing stuff we’ve seen him do before and he’s like “wow, that’s so amazing! I would be screwed if you weren’t here!”

When you'll hear it, and you'll be mind blown, imagine that there's applications where there's three or even four turbos. In some race cars of the age, they had turbos, supercharges, the lot. The sounds were/are out of this world. :))

@@nyalsewell big turbo is what determines the HP level. Since it is what will flow all the air. Small turbo gets exhaust gas first to spool, then the big turbo gets exhaust gas. Big turbo feeds the small turbo, which compresses it again. There's formulas and everything to determine which size turbos to use for maximum efficiency and what not. It also doesn't have to be two turbos. Can be turbo feeding supercharger, or supercharger feeding turbo. In the last on the supercharger determines the HP, so like a large vortech is the "big turbo" and the turbo acts as the small turbo. This setup actually has some benefits

Now its just a long sponsor showcase with all of the fab just timlapsed and not at all explained. Showing a split sec of all the work done off cam, walking through factories, talking about a product is not what we want to see. Show us more fab work with explanation of how and why you did the things you did what led to these choices and results that you expect. If you have to do a voice over becouse of filming time restrictions so be it. And all the sponsor stuff and factory tours can be a co episode on the side. **EDIT: Seeing how the next episode that just came out is all about fab and explanation, I would semi retract my statement. If we have to sit through 3-4 Ad episodes just so this series can be economically viable to make, then i dont think that any fan of the series would be upset. But still it would be nicer if the ad episodes are less time lapse and more focused on the build (witch is looking really sick!)

I personally don’t know much about diesels, I’ve watched all episodes since the start and I still know nothing more than I did starting out. I love watching fab work too, which this series is sorely lacking...my favourite show is still Project Binky.
You guys do realize you can just stop watching it right? If a company was sponsoring my build as well, I'd 100% give them a couple minutes of their time on video. Dan's putting pure quality into this car and quality comes from reputable brands. And of course knowing Hoonigan, they have a great relationship with the companies sponsoring this build.

Asa Russell thing is standard in most 6 pots, and even some 4s, since at least 20yrs ago (porsche brembos from the late 90s already have the feature, nothing been invented here)

I know there is already a bunch of comments about the lack of depth of the built. But i will add up, would be really cool to see some more in depth footage of fitting the rear axle, really interesting stuff and i could learn something new for my self. Still good stuff.
I love the reference. But the inside of a winter's diff is different. When you pull that pan off the gears are mounted flat not horizontal like a ring gear
cool to see stoptech brakes apart, ive only ever seen them installed, oddly always on BMWs. Edit: I wasnt even to the facility tour, wow that is incredible. High end car parts are so beautifully made.
