    I love how Simon Jordan brings up the likes of Souness, Allardyce and Pardew (3 managers who are largely disliked by our fans because of their arrogance and rotten style of play) when trying to enforce his argument that our fans expect too much, yet he completely ignores the likes of Roeder and Hughton who we were in support of. Those 2 managers understood our club and didn't talk the club or the fans down whilst talking up the opposition.

    Craig Hope wrote a great article on the calamity that was Steve Bruce at NUFC (I urge you to all read it). I have not followed Bruce’s career and did not care about his past but judged him from day 1 at NUFC. He has been terrible from the start. We won games that just did not make any sense how we won (we call it BRUCEBALL) and should have lost 99% of his games. I am just happy that today Bruce is no longer at the club and we can try and build our club with someone more competent. I hope he has a great life in Manchester for the rest of his career & leave us alone.

    Simon calling out Craig's journalistic credit is laughable. Saying that Craig Hope is guilty of having pushed a narrative all the while he pushes the false narrative of the "expectations" and "demands" of Newcastle fans. No matter how many fans or journalists call in to correct him on this, he continues to bait the Newcastle fans
    The likes of Craig Hope gave Newcastle fans an honest platform to speak which was so refreshing to listen to a journalist accurately echoing the hopes of fans without a dishonest agenda. Even Gary Neville listened to fans and gave an honest account of what Newcastle fans really want, and when he felt Bruce was being used as a human shield, he spoke out. I can respect that that sort of balanced approach. Simon on the other hand lacks consistent moral integrity and often slips up by showing his bitter, vindictive attitude towards Newcastle fans

      @@sk00p silly argument. Our squad value is comparable to Brighton and they are 4th. Our squad is worth nearly 50m more than Brentford and they are top 10 as a newly promoted side. Make any excuses you like, the fact is Bruce is a poor manager, who can't coach his team, set up formations, play players in the right positions or develop and improve them. Potter and Frank show a good manager with a clear vision for their team can achieve great things. Bruce is a dinosaur and won't manage in the PL ever again.

    • @TheAlphaDingo
      @TheAlphaDingo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pjr7661 do some research. Ashley was a leech sucking the club dry and taking it backwards. A club should belong and represent it's local area or city. An owner should want to do the best for the club. Ashley wanted to do what's best for him - making money and getting free advertising. Fans, legends, managers, players, it didn't matter to him as he was only focused on his own personal greed.
      As for Bruce, he was a puppet appointment. If you had billions of dollars, why would you entrust it to a man with no talent as a manager, or who can't figure out how best lineup, formation or team in his third season in charge. Like giving a Ferrari to a toddler, it would only end badly. The point is Bruce is useless and HAS BEEN BACKED. Too many uninformed clowns pretending to be experts reckon he hasn't been backed or given a fair chance or compare him to Rafa despite having over 100m of additional signings afforded to him.

    It was obvious the role of Newcastle manager became too big for Steve Bruce once the owners came in but some Newcastle fans gave him way too much stick. He was employed by a non ambitious owner in Mike Ashley to simply keep them in the league and despite Newcastle fans obviously wanting more that was all Steve Bruce was employed to do and he did that. The lack of progress made was due to the lack of money he had to spend compared to teams around him and if you look at points tallys last season and the one before it was very similar if not better than Rafas. It wouldn't of hurt for Newcastle fans to give him the respect he deserves on his 1000th game and show some appreciation for Steve's work before they start this new era
