My 2 cents on THE best modeling putty. Much better than Squadron or Tamiya. If you use it on fiberglass or metal, allow more drying time. Maybe 4 or more hrs. depending on temp and thickness.
Using a solvent also helps to smooth out and blend the filler as well. Use a q tip soaked in a solvent. 😊 I see you already mentioned glue as a solvent 👍🏻
I appreciate your video. I use it also for 3D prints and also like it better than Tamiya's putty. I haven't tried the model cement mix that you mentioned, but would like to. Thanks for the tip!
Have you had any issues with the putty shrinking over time? After it really dries out? I know some putties have that issue. I can see this being a real bargain. You get 2 to 3 times the amount of putty for the same price as most putties.
Does the tube on this stuff break easily? I bought Tamiya modeling putty for the first a while back and while it worked well, a small whole split open on the side and sadly now it's oozing out the side of the tube.
Adding these 2 together is a highly toxic mess. Both are highly flammable let alone a category 1 inhalation hazard. I see more people that model.doing this and it's a bad choice. Modelers are exposed to enough toxic chemicals. Why would you want to create an even more toxic environment on your work desk?

Just started 3D printing myself. And yes, it works great on PLA+.

I've been through 3 tubes over 4 years and never had that happen. Not saying it couldn't though.
How is the smell?
Not too bad. It smells about like liquid cement. Smell goes away after it dries. About 1 hr.
Dr micro tools anyone?😁
Plastique?😳

Would doing it in front of a spray booth fan be enough?
