Since I live in California where there’s earthquakes from time to time, I’ve been waken up by a couple over the years. Though I’ll note, you think ‘the big’ one we are supposed to get that’s long overdue is going to be bad, the Pacific Northwest is expected to have one of the deadliest earthquakes in the future since the Cascadia subduction zone can produce earthquakes up to 8.0 to 9.0 on the Richter scale. The earthquake that happened in Anchorage Alaska back in 1964 lasted 5 minutes, believe it’s the strongest earthquake that’s ever happened out west to my knowledge. Subduction zone fault line quakes are no joke.
