This is the best washer ever. My only pet peeve is the low intermediate spin on heavy duty and the early spray rinse. It's just me. I consider Speed Queen the indie rock of washers and dryers, specifically the classic.

As a first time viewer... Kind of lost on what the purpose of this video is.. Who is space girl? did you hire him or her to install or do something for the water pump? Did they replace an alternator then damage the pump? etc.. Lots and LOTS of questions pertaining to this video...

Those who called the Boardwalk Organ something like hearing a rubber automobile tire being blown out on the highway were WRONG. You can actually hear (and also feel) the 64 foot pedal stops. Better than the Wanamaker because the Midmer-Losh had much more echo in that massive room. You just can't just turn on that reverb from a console button like on an electric or electronic organ ... the echo & reverberation are always there even if the Red Carpet is placed on the entire floor for Ms. America! Virgil Fox would have approved! Does anyone know if Virgil ever played at the Atlantic City organs in a scheduled concert?

So, I have what must be the earlier version of yours (2008-9?), and when it failed (ran but no pressure) I found this video. Prior to its demise I used it a few hours a year for more than a decade. I never once ran pump saver through it. Since it's pretty weak to begin with I certainly worked it harder than it was probably meant for. I bought a gas operated Husqvarna last year, so I really didn't care too much if the Snap On could be repaired, but having no experience repairing one I figured I'd at least take it apart. Is it designed to be worked on? No Are parts available? No Did I break the detergent tank taking it apart? Yes I pulled the pump head apart, and without any replacements available I soaked everything in CLR and relubed the O rings with silicone. I got it back together and it ran fine, insofar as it is pretty weak to begin with. Is it a Far East POS? Sort of... but it still runs 15 years later. Dunno if I'll be able to say the same about the "Husqvarna/Briggs and Stratton" Far East POS that has about 8 hours run time and is leaking oil and spitting engine bolts out on the deck... at least it's still under warranty.

Nowdays, we have a bunch of garbage products that came from Temu (AKA Pinduoduo) from China. Not about Walmart, but Temu. On the other hand, I've seen vehicles from China that has a terrible quality for what they called, Tofu Dreg Projects, and their vehicle brands are Hongqi (AKA Red Flag or Red Bloodline). I get preferring recips, they sound better and start cooling quicker, but I just don't get the constant hate for rotaries. Yes, the new ones are junk, but that is just because everything is made like crap now. The older rotaries are quite solid, work well and will last a good long time (like that Matsushita you have in that unit.)Those old Matsushita units are also pretty smooth once they get up and running. I just see no reason to cut up a perfectly functional all original unit just to change out a perfectly good compressor.

Strange thing to collect. Best one I had was very young. Got it at used furniture store. Frigidaire unit with R12 charge in it. Was big and very heavy. Paid 25 dollars for it. I ran so quiet. Had a big compressor that sat sideways in it.

The rubber bushings that support the fan motor are probably bad causing the motor to sag. Should be an easy fix with new bushings. My 5,000 BTU Gibson that I picked up last meet up had it's fan motor short out and catch fire on me. I do plan to replace the motor.

I bought this exact dehumidifer in 1990. I still have it -- it's gotten a ton of use and it's never failed me! Maybe not as energy efficient as newer ones, but I'm going to use it til it dies!!
