He wrote the melody for the chorus but it’s my lyrics and me singing. He just has a very distinct style so I’m doing my best impersonation of Josh. He’s VERY talented
This is by far the biggest disappointment of an album I can remember in a long time. I have loved these guys since fury and the fallen ones, but this is a huge letdown. I don't mind cleans, but I never expected these guys to just fully embrace the radio rock version of metalcore that is literally what every band sounds like these days. That chorus is so bland 😔
If this is one of the biggest disappointments, then I’d say you haven’t listened to much. This album bangs. These guys are in their 40s now. This isn’t FATFO anymore. Returners is still an album you can go back and listen too brother. You gatekeepers want them to make the same album over and over which is boring as shit.

Other than earn it, the new sound is growing on me. Yes they have better albums than this but I would put this album over dear youth all day.
