@Dominika Near the end of the second book he actually returns that necklace (on her birthday I think, need to reread) declaring how much he loves and misses her, whilst she is being picked up from school by John Ambrose. Who gave her a gift of a snowglobe that was similar to the night in the snow they shared. And once he’s driven her home she realises she loves Peter, it was bittersweet

Omg yeah i thought i was only thinking like that . I thought that there were just a few scenes of Lara Jean and Peter
yeah like i feel like it was all compacked into 2 hours. I feel like the movie needed 3 hours tbh. Normally movies arent this long but i felt like this movie needed to be. For me the breakup between Peter and LJ in the movie literrally lasted 30 minutes. I wouldve liked it to be longer so then the ending to the movie would be overall BETTER. But except for that, I LOVED THIS MOVIE 💔💕💕💕
@Purples that opinion was literally spot on, I’ve come to terms of how the books are perfect and the movies are a cute and quick adaptation. Their own distinguished sphere that I still adore, especially since the first one is why I read all three books in three days👀👀 But yeah same as the first movie, the issues were pacing and development

Just finished the movie and was crying but making sure no one saw. Idk, although I really liked John Ambrose, it did hurt when Peter and LJ did break up and I actually didn't think that they'd get back together. But when the ending came, I cried tears of joy and was so happy! 😭😭😭👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 And though there will be ppl who will think that JA was/is better, I honestly think that Peter is perfect for LJ. They genuinely do care about each other and love one another ❤️👏🏼

Sea Kitty I think that in that scene he wanted to fix things cause u can tell he wanted to talk to her and still loved her. but when she said “do you want the necklace back” he clearly wanted to say something else he was stuttering but he didn’t fix it and just said “yeah”

I’m pretty sure she makes him just as insecure as he makes her insecure. It’s just a natural reaction in the beginning of a relationship and after a break up. Both don’t really know how to act. He doesn’t know what she wants and assumes she doesn’t want him to fight for their relationship.

I cried at the part with gen and Lara Jean. I have friendship like that and it made me cry! I also felt the pain of Peter during their breakup in the aquarium. BUT I REALLY HOPE they explore Lara Jean’s and Peter’s emotional relationship in the 3rd movie because I feel like it’s still very underdeveloped. I want to see Peter’s emotional side and why he’s so in love with Lara Jean and I want to see Lara’s emotional side and see her start to break down barriers. The books go into way more detail about these things so I’m hoping the last movie does too!

Exactly ! I could not have said it better ! Peter and Lara Jean's relationship felt a bit shallow in this movie. Everything seemed rushed. I loved the first movie but this one was underwhelming.

I'm pretty sure josh didnt return becaue of his scandal. As for the references I dont necessarily think they are obligated to do that but I can see why fans would want it cuz that's cute but I dont think it's that big to make the movie a let down....although i will say there was a new director (although he had worked on the first one as the cinematographer)
I guess the reason why PK and LJ perfectly match each other is because even though they are both falling short in their relationship, they are able to grow together-, like REALLY grow together. They are able to realize their wrong and they do things to catch up for it. And it's just amazing to witness growth, gaining that maturity. They are responsible in keeping one another truly respected and well loved in their relationship.
So.. the one question we are all dying for an answer to:

The second movie was great a nice realistic outlook on relationships which most of us teenagers go through but I really felt that the chemistry between Lara Jean and Peter was lacking in the second one and I also wish they would have shown Peters emotions as well Cauz till the end of the second movie really start leaning towards John Ambrose asked she seems more comfortable with him. Peter really loves Lara Jean but his feelings have not been portrayed to well u feel that there is some spark missing which was there in the first part but anyways I hope they fix that in the third movie

You can really tell that Peter loved Lara Jean more than Gen because after breaking up with Gen, like the next day he was back to normal. But after breaking up with LJ, you can tell that he is REALLY sad and they honestly don’t know how to talk to each other.

I tried watching the first one again, after watching the second, and I can't look at peter the same way. Just something about the way they started... although what gen did was wrong I understand why mmm.
I can say, I very much appreciate the way the movies were shot. The first one was shot in more warm tones, suggesting spring and beginnings. Whereas the second one was shot in more cool tones to reflect the coldness of heartbreak. 👏🏽
