I think so, too! And to see this guy perform this kata with so much energy and dynamic speed and strength, shows that you could be old with time but still be as good as wine. Shame that Andre Nepomuk can't see it that way.
You don't get the point because you have not trained. Applications are taught once you have learned the kata. You will never get the point just by looking at katas.

Não estou dizendo que o mestre é ruim, mas que essa versão do kanku dai é feia. Por exemplo os katas do kyokyshin são horríveis, mas em luta eles são os melhores.

Esse kata é derivado do Mestre Matsumura Sokon. É a interpretação de um kata do Kung Fu apresentado por um Kusanku (oficial chinês da época) em Okinawa, que o Mestre Matsumura aprendeu. Agora, não tenho dúvida de que os movimentos desse kata são efetivos, entende ? É uma escola clássica.

The name of this kata is Kusanku-dai.
Mauro Krapacher depends on the style, in kenyu Ryu it's kushanku dai
@@thiagolima5515 you are right, it depends on the style or lineage.....we call ist Kushanku (ha shima shorin ryu, which comes from Matsubayashi-Ryu).
@@thiagolima5515 and in Hayashi-ha shitoryu, we call ours Kosukun Dai. Although we also have a Chatan yara kushanku kata that's very similar.

Strike to the head. The open palm is pulling towards the elbow.
