It is saying that people seeking after their own lusts will seek out teachers which appease those lusts with fables. It isn’t saying the teachers have itching ears but rather the people seeking out the teachers who do not teach truth who have itching ears. This is why the verse begins by saying “they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers. . .” This passage does not apply to teachers like Cliffe.

Well there's the wonderful things: have the discipline to study Scripture, so that it'll land in your heart, and then the Spirit will help you remember them when it's needed. In situations like these. That's not only a skill that we develop as a human. Yes, you can hone the skill, train and become more skilled. But even more so, it is God's Spirit that lives within you as a born again child of God Who will make you remember.❤

@@sid5090em I have noticed a few things too that don't align with what I believe, but doesn't mean he is a bad preacher. A lot of Christians claim to know everything. But in his defense, he says a lot of times that he doesn't know and encourages one to read for themselves. He humbles himself and communicates in a way for these kids to come closer to God. Every person is different, one needs empathy and another needs discipline to come closer to God. We are all different and have different needs. And thus there are different preachers with different "styles". As long as the core foundation is good, the rest is in the hands of every individual. I do not say that you can twist God's word and interpret it how you want and preach morality this way. Again, the core is Jesus, bless every single human on earth and may they stay encouraged to read the bible more.

. Yes Jesus is God but when he told satan “thou shall not test the Lord ur God” he was referring to satan saying God will order angels to lift him up. 2. Being tempted and feeling tempted are not the same things. Someone can tempt u by telling u to do something bad or trying to persuade u to buy them food for example. And someone can be tempted to not go to school and stay in bed. Those r different things. U can be tempted without feeling temptation Example.

It does not say the teachers have itching ears. It is saying that people seeking after their own lusts will seek out teachers which appease those lusts with fables. It isn’t saying the teachers have itching ears but rather the people seeking out the teachers who do not teach truth who have itching ears. This is why the verse begins by saying “they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers. . .”
This passage does not apply to teachers like Cliffe.
So “I am” is a name of God that God made clear in Exodus 3:14. According to that logic, Jesus is saying in John 8:58 “Before Abraham was, God” which is true.

A lot of Christians claim to know everything. But in his defense, he says a lot of times that he doesn't know and encourages one to read for themselves.
He humbles himself and communicates in a way for these kids to come closer to God.
Every person is different, one needs empathy and another needs discipline to come closer to God. We are all different and have different needs. And thus there are different preachers with different "styles". As long as the core foundation is good, the rest is in the hands of every individual.
I do not say that you can twist God's word and interpret it how you want and preach morality this way. Again, the core is Jesus, bless every single human on earth and may they stay encouraged to read the bible more.
