    Learning and development is massive. It's not only about teaching employees , it is development of employees and organization. There are many projects which L&D profile manages to enhance the growth of the company.
    Few more HR profiles, I would like to name
    1. Organization development
    2. Labor law
    3. HR generalist
    4. Sustainability or CSR
    Many more
    ..

    Every department is important. However, HR people have lesser workplace pressure.
    HR functions have relatively lesser impact at workplace. Important questions that HR functions should do but aren't doing are hereunder:
    - Employee output
    - Happiness index
    - Controlling attrition

    • @rahulamin604
      @rahulamin604 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Heyy
      With all due respect I do feel you have misunderstood HR as a whole.
      I may not be completely qualified as I have limited experience but in my limited experience I have realized that HR's too have a lot of deadlines contrary to the popular belief. Some roles have daily deadlines. Dealing with people is not the easiest thing as they are unpredictable many a times. As far as the impact goes I am a firm believer in the fact that people are who make an organization great and guess who is making sure those people are motivated and happy.
      The grass is always greener on the other side so I am not going to compare HR to anything as I have not walked a step in the other role, it is unfortunate to see all the discourse around HR many a times I ignore most comments but since you so very respectfully put your point forward I thought of sharing my 2 cents.

    • @sumangodara3690
      @sumangodara3690 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are not right. We also have a lot of pressure with deadlines . Don’t misunderstood any profile if you have not worked with any profile. I’m working as hrbp and handling 500 employees right now. With all the engagements, connects , attrition, compliances all we have to take care.

    NEED YOUR ADVICE
    I know I need to be solving as must as possible in VARC and DILR (since they both are my weaker section).
    Before I used to try and solve every set I could no matter how hard it was, but what ended up happening is that I end up getting dejected that I am taking so much time and not able to solve them. This gets me demotivated and I would just stop studying the whole day. But since last week I turned my strategy and skipped the tricky question, and only solve the easy and medium difficulty level questions. ever since I am enjoying solving and have been able to solve 6 to 10 sets every day. is this the right way to go??
    so basically what I am asking is quality or quantity is more important in varc and dilr??

    You did not mention hidden paycheck on total rewards. I think that is what we, in HR, often communicate to retain qualified talent.

      New and baby IIMs are not known for HR. You could try for the new HR Courses launched by these B schools like IIM Trichy.
