Waterson Wind Quintet in F Major,

James Waterson was a Clarinet player and bandmaster most active in the area of Military Music. Probably his best known work today is a Clarinet quartet, but he also wrote music for other wind instruments, including the Bassoon, and this charming wind quintet, very much in the style of Weber, and not without it's technical challenges! This recording was made on Mini-disc at a recent concert in the Arabian room of the Bolsa in Porto.
