Peter Rasmussen Wind Quintet in F Major

Whilst it's true that since the publication of a proper edition of this work in 1992 it has been played more frequently and even recorded, it still deserves to be more widely known. It is a wonderful piece for students, for instance, as it presents certain difficulties with ensemble that need to be studied, but is also very much enjoyed by audiences and can be used, as it was in this concert from 2008, as a soothing intermezzo for the public before a more demanding work like the Nielsen quintet.
