      Very True comment, people have too much expectations for a very affordable car. I used the 2022 Hyundai Elantra Gasoline Limited and its a great deal for the price. The tech is mind blowing and it's safety features are awesome. The interior space is not bad either, almost encroaching the mid-size range. The car is good for singles or couples without kids.

    So glad manufacturers are finally letting the hybrids look like normal models. I love the looks of the new Elantra, and would seriously buy this if I needed the gas mileage. But I'm personally gonna spring for the Sonata.

I'm trusting the Elantra Limited Hybrid I just purchased yesterday will have some more reliability on the computer's. Plus it rides much smoother oppose to the Sonata and isn't as noisey as the Sonata !

    I’m by no means the “responsible” driver, I sell muscle cars and classics and drive some seriously fast cars.
    But, I needed a car that would get good gas mileage for my commutes, so naturally I wanted a hybrid.
    I traded one of my trucks for this car. I love it, had it for almost a year.
    I did my due diligence and the Elantra hybrid offers the most engagement while driving, and the best tech, and definitely the best looking in the segment.
    Only hybrid in the segment faster is the Prius but it’s basically double the price. And it’s a Prius.
    Easy choice.

    Just my opinion but the negative connotation you have towards the car being "bland" and "not inspiring corner carving" really takes away from the review. Its a hyundai hybrid not a McLaren p1 we all expect these things from a sub 30k car so for you to reiterate that in a negative light really harms the review experience.

      The fact that there is another sound overriding the first one is just odd to me. Honda's implementation on the Accord is better. Get in the car, shut the door and you get a welcome sound. As soon as you start the car, it cancels that sound regardless and begins the normal chime.

    • @rekt_n_line
      @rekt_n_line 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I own a 2019 Sonata and it's been great for me in college. Hyundais are great cars and they've really stepped up their game in recent years. I haven't driven to school in months, and if I wasn't graduating in 2 weeks I'd buy this for that amazing gas mileage.

    • @ElegantPotatoes
      @ElegantPotatoes 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd buy a used car personally, to save some money. Even if it only has two or three years of driving on it, a relatively new-used car will still be suitable.
      I won a 2014 Civic with 181 000km on the odometer, suits me fine unless I'm driving for a few hours.

    • @loganjames4607
      @loganjames4607 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @alh06
      @alh06 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would buy a used car, and you can get it bigger and with more features, without the depreciation. If you buy an older model Japanese car, I would swing for a Toyota, or maybe an older Kia, you'll do great, although select older Hyundai models had some issues.

    • @rekt_n_line
      @rekt_n_line 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@loganjames4607 Ehh that all depends on your budget though. I used to own a Scion tC and it started burning oil and needed a new block. But Toyota wouldn't replace it yet cuz it was under their oil burning threshold, and I was 1,000 miles away from running out of warranty. Had to trade it. Plus you have to worry about maintenance like tires, battery, fluid and belt changes if the used car is higher mileage. I've had my Sonata nearly 2 years and I've only had to do literally 1 oil change. So I'd say it depends on the budget. Yes I have a higher payment, but I don't have to worry much in terms of maintenance. So I'd just say it depends. If you can afford a new car, get it.

      They offer it in the Korean market. And heated rear seats. Which that option was taken away on the 2019 and up models. It's a cost cutting thing.

    Weird question. Does this have any sort of digital speedometer? The digital Guage is nice but I would hope they would make use of the screen and have one.

    New Hyundais are known for excellent "lane keep assist" and "smart cruise control with stop-and-go". Yet, no demo on this video? This video just demonstrates how a car drives LIKE any other car -_- Sorry, just venting. I'm sure a lot of effort was put into this video. But I would appreciate it if more research on the car's strong point was done.

      GDI is Mitsubishi licensed. But the engine is from Hyundai. In fact, Germans licence the tech from Mitsubishi too.
