Looks like it’s supposed to Fall of and that would be a bummer. So I will secure the battery with straps or something to not worry about that. Would have loved if they would have let the battery slip under the seat in a little Cage instead of this click system. Can’t wait to ride it.
@@angellfalcon3654 no bike is theft proof, it's all about making them take as long as possible stealing it that they can get caught, or looking like it'll be too much trouble to steal.
this description of the bike is really good! I've watched it several times. After 10 weeks of delivery I now also have a ZX in Storm grey. installed an ABUS alarm box on the bike today. it fits perfectly under the saddle on the plate with the 4 openings. the black alarm box is almost invisible with its 300g and offers additional protection. the alarm goes off cleanly and loudly
I’ve had the zx for 2 weeks now here in london. Also had throttle on from day one. The bike maxes out at 28mph in mode 4. I too literally use it everyday since i got it! So much fun!

Great video! 👍 I think you might have looked over the price difference between the EU and US version being that the EU version comes with front and back lights, mud guards and 10 gears whereas the US version comes bare boned and only one gear (and a throttle instead).

15.5mph doesn’t sound fast but it’s surprising. But back when I was fitter, I could keep up with sponsored riders up the steep climbs down here in Wale’s Afon Argoed mountain bike country. One day I rode to my girlfriends house about 4.5 miles away, it was fairly flat with a steep uphill near the end. I remember it was quite windy as it was an open common road. I pedalled my heart out, and when I got there my computer told me I’d averaged 17mph. So, in that context you can see how rapid 15mph is, the difference is if I did it on this 73 I’d arrive cool as a cucumber, whereas on that day I arrived a bath of sweat despite a full Lycra outfit. I’m definitely interested in this, I can even get it on our cycle to work scheme, I’ll have to do the maths 😎 A great honest review
Wow. This is brilliant. I'm a huge fan of electric cars and have been driving EV's for over 5 years. But this bike is just amazing. Brilliant design. Sadly still a bit too expensive in my opinion. Great video as always 👏👏

I love the design of this bike. I especially like how they moved the battery to under the seat instead of right below the handle bars where the RX model has it. My problem with the RX model is that its battery is blocking some prime rel-estate for my bike locks. Unfortunately, the deal breaker for me with this newer model is that it does not have any suspension. It's always something =/
Yeah man was hovering over the buy button on their website when I heard this guy say no suspension... Shame, it's the best looking model by far but obviously not.
TBH I wouldnt even use the RX for off road, even with dual suspension. There are better bikes out there for that purpose. Again, Super73 are for cruisin bro

What are you using for security? The one thing that puts me off buying one and using it for errands is the risk of theft. Appreciate insights on how you are securing yours.
I wanted to get this bike for looks alone but the 1699$ Ariel Rider is just far superior for cheaper. You get a metal motors instead of nylon, dual suspension also fenders and lights come with it.
This was very helpful as im going to own the ZX model. Looks really neat and stylish for what it is. Just wish the lights and fenders were included. Thanks for the review

Would be really awesome if this bike could be locked by the app (as in disarmed) preventing it from being stolen or have some sophisticated locking feature given the price being spent. Always a risk having this type of bike as you will attract attention… of the wrong sort as well unfortunately

I like the design. Looks great and stout. The tires are probably too wide as they were going for “a look” instead of performance. Should reduce the tire widths by 2-3 cm.
Genius electric bike! The soft frame gives it a comfy ride. The generic asian motor gives it a gentle acceleration, compared to any high end brands. The outstanding paint quality will soon let you see the pure 1100 alloy frame like a jawbreaker candy. And who does not enjoy a bonfire, which the battery spontaneously might make, inside your home, or outside... Who knows? Best bike ever!

Just to update you on my last message. I contacted Super 73 in Europe and although the bike is cheaper there than the UK, they charge £400 extra for delivery, so that route is now unfortunately not worth taking. They say it’s down to the changes post Brexit, so I think you were just lucky with your timing on your purchase if they delivered then for free.
