Pete Seeger. Great musician, music historian re-creator, civil rights leader, inspirer. A principaled, great person. Generations of thanks to you, Pete, for your music and messages. I admre you greatly, and will try to follow your example.
Thx for making this video available for us all. I really love Pete Seeger, he's a great person who brought us a lot of great songs. And not just that, he was a "green" environmentalist in the best meaning of the word, even befor this word existed and fortunately he still is.
Thank you, Pete Seager, for an exemplary life so well lived. I will try to always remember your optimism, and, of course, your music. We shall overcome.
His music will live on and his sentiments are on the shoulders of us all. "And when these fingers can strum no longer Hand the old banjo to young ones stronger" "If we could heed these early warnings The time is now quite early morning"
Pete Seeger and the University Settlement Camp in Beacon NY may be gone, but the music and The Hudson Sloop Clearwater live on and a whole bunch of river loving harmony making non-violent protesting voting truth seeking organizing folk loving people carry it on. For the love of Pete, for Pete's sake, we're gonna turn it around. Pete prevailed and we shall.
