This figure is really cool looking, and kinda testament to why I continue to collect Legends. They're not all hits, but there's not many other lines you could expect to even *make* this character, let alone do it so well. Suit legs are a bummer, they're always a pain, but it'll be cool to add Chamber to the Mutant collection!
I yesterday Biz made an entire line of Generation X figures and chamber was definitely one of them. He had a pool cord that made sparks in his chest using an old flint toy gun gimmick. That being said the new one looks great and can’t wait to get this wave in hand too!

Great looking figure and great review as usual! Sculptor, Paul Harding, is still killing it with the head sculpts. He's done a great job with fiery figures over the last few years too: Chamber, retro card Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze head, Binary, HasLab Nova, and Firelord to name a few.

He transitioned over to Hasbro in 2007 and continued sculpting figures like the Brood BAF wave Black Knight, Doc Samson from the FFF wave, and the Wolverine and Forge 2 pack from 2008. Marvel Legends took a breath in 2011, but the single figure released that year was a SDCC exclusive Thor which Paul sculpted to look like artist, Olivier Coipel's work. It was subsequently released the next year as part of the "Return of Marvel Legends" wave. His talent improved over time, like most any artist, and our collection's benefit as a result.
This will be a good choice for metalhead/biker thug characters. I bet it will look cool if you could fit a couple of those wireless leds in the flames so when he stands in the coil it lights up.
One of my favourite comic book characters. I have the old Toybiz version but have been waiting along time for a Hasbro version and I’m not disappointed. I hope they bring out a version in the Gen X uniform
Thanks once again for the very insightful review. It's really too bad about the old legs. A figure able to stand properly is kind of a bare minimum. Also too bad about not having that extra unpowered head with the scarf. It would have made a big difference in me wanting it. Finally, when your turn comes to review Monet, I would definitely like to see head swaps with Jubilee and especially with female blonde heads that might possibly work for Husk. I know the hand colors won't fit, but collectors like us have plenty of extras that will fit. I also think the Monet body will work better for Husk than Jubilee who's always had a smaller frame. Thanks for considering.
I was considering buying him but was waiting for a review. I think the original Toybiz Chamber in Gen-x uniform looks better. This guys arms and legs are too thin and I don't like the gap that's created when you move his head. Head sculpt is cool but that body is blah. Great review, Thanks
I feel like this body could be excellent for a Fox Quicksilver custom I've been planning. A lick of silver paint, a new head and some new legs and we're golden.
I may not get him, But man, Chamber does absolutely looks "🔥" because his fire sculpt looks badass and the only X-MEN figure that I would get is Astonishing X-MEN Emma Frost because my own Walgreen 's exclusive did broke on me, Fantastic review Dan.
I thought you were opening this by calling Jono “the Marvel Legends chode”! 😂 😂 You could have used the Banshee from Annihilus BAF, if you don’t have the new UXM275 sets, yet. And there are several Emma Frost figures to choose from, including that hideous take from same Annihilus BAF! I do agree he needs the “turtleneck/mask” alternate head. Hasblo skimping on the extras again! 🤬 (Goes digging for…Ikaris-? head and some electrical tape!) I kitbashed a quickie Chamber a couple years ago, using the 90s Morbius (Venompool?) which was basically swapping the head and hands to flesh tone and adding…was it one of the Ultimate Goblin flame effects around his neck? No idea, as it’s been boxed up. (And I put more effort into turning a couple Onslaught Mockingbirds into M and Paige. Skin I only got as far as Reed stretchy fingers on a base body before the SpiderVerse Miles hit. Synch was going to be red Magneto base body, but not too many bald heads to choose from that are also young and black. And yeah, Jubes got repainted into her GenX red suit. I also made most of the Hellions to go with them.)
you know what, i might grab this so that shang-chi can finally have some closed fist hands then i should have a free body with relaxed open hands, the customization potential is endless maybe having a civilian JDF headsculpt in all black leather next to his transformed Lightning Collection versions... i saw an interesting JDF civilian custom using Peter's body (ned peter 2pack) and then Jimmy Woo's removable rubber goods jacket layered over it with the JDF head on and it looked super clean
Ah yes, the standard marvel legend suited legs....always a pleasure to mess with until you have to lean them on something so they can stand pigeon toed.

do you have a rough idea when Paul Harding started working for Hasbro Pulse? i feel like the quality definitely went up in recent years

So glad you took the head off because I got my eyes on that figure for a Johnny blaze ghost rider.
They could have used the mr knight legs. Much sturdier and pinless. Would have made this a 6/10 into an 8/10 imo. Great review none the less

3D printed a Nicholas Cage head, and I think I just found the body I’m putting it on

sucks that they have a newer pinless pants sculpt from the Mr Knight figure, no clue why they didn't use those on this figure.
