Great video man. I played violin for 6 years. Im 3 months into guitar. So far ive gotten to where i can play most open chords fairly smoothly and E, A bar chords and their variations. I can add basic embelishments to them and transition to very basic soloing. Ive learned 3 shapes of the minor pen. I just strugle trying to do them across the fretboard and get out of the box. What i really need is freedom of making solos sound musical.
Cheers man! And wow, then you have a really solid foundation for learning guitar. With the right teaching, I'm sure you'll nail those things pretty quickly 🙌
Why does this video have so few likes? Love this one, and what you shared, you now have a new follower! (who at 21 years old has started playing the electric guitar after many years of stop from the classical and piano😅)
Happy to hear that my friend, cheers! And 21 years is still really damn early. It's crazy what can be done in only a year or two with good teaching and dedicated practice 😎
But if you have longer practice session, I think it can be totally fine to practice many different things! As long as you get enough time on each area to make meaningful progress
thank you thank you thank you!🫶
Glad to hear it was useful, thanks for watching!
This video is gonna have tons of view man, this is excellent. Thank you!
Appreciate the kind words my friend, cheers!

I'm guilty of multitasking. I practice like I go to gym. I want to hit all areas because, I don't focus on one thing.

@@Simenotnes Thanks for the confirmation. I will continue pressing forward.
