Monet should understand that Cane will always pick Monet just like Tariq would pick Tasha because Monet is Cane mother. Noma is Cane street mother just like Monet is Tariq street mother and Cane and Tariq will always pick their mothers over anything.

Yea good theory and that would be a great plot twist. But they mentioned the wife's name and Angela's family wouldn't have be that understanding with her being separated from her husband. And she pretty much told her love life story throughout the seasons of Power by saying she has waited on Jamie since high school.

If you go back and look at the teasers trailers it was guy that looked to be kidnapped/questioned alongside Dru. This is when Carter “ says drug dealers are like cockroaches hard to kill, believe me I’ve tried”. Then he smokes him.
