You should be a lot more scared than this just affecting 2A supporters. As I commented above, this would give the AG power of law by being able to redefine things. This is a response I got from a state rep: Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding Senate Bill 25-003. Hearing directly from constituents is vital to understanding the impact of any proposed legislation on Senate District 15. Please know Senator Marchman is committed to ensuring that any legislation passed is enforceable, protects our families and neighborhoods, and upholds our constitutional obligations, including Second Amendment protections. Senator Marchman and her colleagues are taking a methodical approach to this bill-examining its language closely, listening to stakeholders on all sides, and working to balance public safety with the fundamental rights of law-abiding Coloradans. The goal of SB25-003 is to address the high-capacity, easily interchangeable magazines that can make mass shootings even more deadly. We want to create effective policies that hold criminals accountable, help prevent acts of violence, and withstand constitutional scrutiny. That means closing loopholes that undermine existing prohibitions on high-capacity magazines without hindering responsible gun owners who respect the law. Your feedback is invaluable to this process. Senator Marchman will keep your thoughts in mind as we move forward in committee hearings and debate. Again, Thank you for reaching out and your continued engagement with our office. Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. Warm regards, Office of State Senator Marchman

Amendment II A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
This would also ban semi autos such as a Winchester Model 100, because they are gas operated, even though no magazines over 4 rounds (yes, you can get 5 in the factory mag, but it won't seat if the bolt is closed) exist for these rifles. So they're really after blanket banning of all self loading rifles.

I'm from Colorado. Last year Colorado gun owners lucked out. You mentioned last year's gun ban did not pass. Well that's correct depending how you look at it and how technical you are. What actually happened is lawmakers were up against the clock, running out of time. They had so much on their plate that they just dropped the assault weapon ban altogether letting it die in committee. They were able to pass a few, but for the ones that did pass wasn't a big deal. However, we knew they would be back trying it all over once again, and here we are.
I'm very skeptical and cynical at this point knowing the anti gun politicians and their orgs that they don't know that stupid things like permanent x round magazines and stuff like that would be a de facto ban. So frustrating that it keeps happening and people keep supporting them.

All shares with the Denver county sheriff said they're not going to enforce it unless somebody's caught up in some other crime that involved the magazine. Get this guy's Denver's assault weapon ban the rifle is fine if it has a 15 round magazine if it has a 30-round magazine it becomes an assault weapon. Desperately need SCOTUS to intervene to establish the unconstitutionality of these bills. Praying they knock down WA’s
They won’t lift a finger
Roberts and Kavanaugh will puss out and screw us
Thank you for all you do! You’re the man!
I live in adams County Colorado
I can't stand what's going on here. I will be moving eventually. I already came from Michigan and dont want to move, but this place went down the hill in 15 years.
@@SJAerialI live in Utah, it’s sad how crowded it’s getting here
they could just say that the " gas pressure" of the bullet leaving the barrel in a typical semi auto handgun counts as " gas operated" and therefore ban virtually all semi auto handguns.
That's exactly what they did. It's why they are speaking about what gas operated means.
Except for the government of course...
@@OscarDadthey forgot to include an exemption for the government. The law also bans FFL’s from transferring any banned firearms. Good luck getting any firearms for law enforcement agencies.
The bottom line is that these bills are more just un-constitutional bills. I live in CO (Not much longer). I have faught against these and other bills here in commyfrarado. I am done. no one citizen has the resources to continue to fight for rights we should already have. This should be illegal for states to go against the US constitution.
Stay. We need all the help we can get.
It is illegal for states to violate the Constitution! The Constitution is the supreme law of the land!
@@andyleotell Well, they do in many states like Colorado, Il, CA, MN, and others.
@@sleepteam ❤, Thanks, but after 60 years of this, I have faught the good fight. It's time for me and my family to move on, as I cannot fight from a jail cell.

I used to love all things Colorado. I won't spend a dime in that woke nightmare until big change happens.
absolutely
My family used to vacation to Colorado, but we stopped about 10 years ago because we refuse to allow our tax dollars to support idiocy.
Here a solution…. Stop coming to Colorado for any tourism or anything. Boycott the state… unless you want to buy my house… I need to leave first. 😂
keep running...it'll catch up to you eventually.
People running from it are half the reason why we're here now.
I have been in CO for 31 years now and it is definitely becoming more like California every day. We are definitely planning on leaving the state soon.
Colorado is totally captured by the Cabal
NOPE IM NOT DEAD YET
Yep their small hat Governor "Polis" formerly (Schutz) doesnt even go by his real name, or it would make it too obvious.

Do you all realize that these infringements and attacks on our rights are endless? So why would we oblige them in an endless war that involves petitioning the same people who are infringing? DO NOT COMPLY. Disobediance IS the American way!
Cool story bro. Hey are you in Colorado? Buy a gun and let us know if you took it home immediately or waited 3 days. Also, get online and try to buy some 20 or 30 round magazines and see what happens. One last thing, do you carry? Did you have to get permission in order to carry or is it a Constitutional mandate?
If you're there and can't do ANY of those things, guess what?
You're complying...
@everydaycarrymonkey2691 Sad how you think online and retail stores are how one must buy guns, mags, and ammo. Half of my collection wasn't even purchased. Yes, I carry and I've done so in 35 states without a politician's approval. Funny thing about 14th Amendment normies-they believe everyone else must also be. American national.
@everydaycarrymonkey2691 Online and retail stores are commercial and subject to regulation. No need to patronize them. Plenty of other ways to acquire them, including building them and trading. I've carried in many states including CO and NY without the approval of politicians. Stop asking for permission to exercise rights. Rights can not be licensed.
American national.
@nomasknoway9903 HAHA that AWB will ban parts so no one will ship to you. Trades are neat, but post July 1st, the state will have its own ATF. Sure, I get carrying without a license. Until you're involved in an incident. Coloradans won't vote their way out of this...
its not an AWB.. its a SEMI AUTO BAN!! basically any semi auto accept a few niche hunting rifles would be banned for sale.
Thanks I appreciate the update on Colorado
Yep, I'm really pissed about this!
Shall not be infringed!🇺🇸

We are literally living BEHIND ENEMY LINES 😅
As a resident of Colorado & live on the western slope. I've been in contact with the local Sheriff he is no way in support of the BS & WILL NOT enforce this
The AG will just designate a state officer as the sole FFL for the state LE and allow only that ffl to be exempt.
Definitely can't wait to get the heck of colorado
I’m a competition shooter here in COS and man, this really pisses me off. I thought the last one was bad.
hope you get active
Thanks for being on top of things man.
You're welcome 👍🏽

This is a response I got from a state rep:
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding Senate Bill 25-003.
Warm regards,
Office of State Senator Marchman
We must have legal counsel on retainer and be prepared to sue for harassment, etc. Or move, or wait 45 minutes for an inept Leo to come.
Wish ammo and gun manufacturers would just stand up and say we will not make ammo or guns for law enforcement if bill like this pass. If citizens can't have ammo or guns then police federal etc can't 🤷♂️
absolutely
Thanks for keeping us informed
Amendment II

From Denver, thank you for the links to WeTheSecond and Ava's channel, to whom I have just subscribed.
Is that the one that was chambered in 350SL and 400SL, or was that 1907? I always confuse the two... though I guess it wouldn't matter, both would be banned lol. What a joke...
@@mfallen2023 The Model 1907 was chambered in 351 WSL. And it's blowback operation, not gas.
@@sunbeamcostrength I thought the gas specification only applied to the "pistols"?
Maybe I misread it, but I was interpreting it as any semi-auto rifle that feeds from a detachable magazine, regardless of mechanics. I'll have to go back and re-read it.
Thanks for the clarification though.
The fact that Bloomberg made the bill should easily make it null and void.
The 15 round thing is probably for tube fed 22s like the Marlin Model 60. Although earlier models held as many as 18. I have 1 of each.
I was born and raised in Colorado and this state used to be amazing, everybody minded their own business until about 2016 when people started moving here and pushing their agenda. Looking for my way out of this state now.
Touch on what The state of Rhode Island is doing, they put assault weapons ban intertwined in RI State Budget .

The tree of liberty is quite dry
I live in Denver but I was born in USSR. It's so scary how they push people into socialism. (
I’m a resident of Colorado, Democrats have destroyed this state. Here in a couple years when I retire I will be heading to a red state so I can have my basic freedoms.
Don't think for a moment these well funded orgs don't know exactly what they are doing.
When I first saw and read through this ban I was stunned at how grey, malicious and anti 2A it is. This need to be shut down HARD.
My son lives in Colorado and I keep him informed about all the left wings bull

I live in Colorado and the ridiculous administration here has been getting worse and worse for some years now. This bill is absurd. I hate to just move away, but wtf

FYI Dark Storm Industries makes an AR-15 that has a fixed magazine. They have an ejector port loader that is as fast as swapping out a magazine.
Fyi currently Colorado's magazine is being widely mocked and ignored. You can get 30-round magazines anywhere and it's a misdemeanor if you get charged it's not a felony crime. Have you ever heard of anything so stupid is this
Don't move, stay and fight!

Funny thing, Bloomberg's maid at his Colorado ranch was robbed, kidnapped and taken to Wyoming by a psycho. If only she would've had a way of protecting herself...
Thanks for shining a light on us. Hate this crap. Blue state now. Wacky people. Colo. needs your prayers please!
Thall shall not comply.
I'm in Colorado, not in a super small town, and I have yet to see these laws be enforced anywhere.
So, its treason then
Honestly the Colorado residents deserve this restriction. They lost their state laying down.
ALL guns are technically “gas operated”!! From piston, DI and even BLOWBACK! It’s the “gas” that operates upon the automatic parts and components!
