This movie was not given a fair chance. Never understand why. I see so many similar movies that are not nearly half so good or thorough, or have great actors like these...and they are not as good...but nobody mocks THEM. What a world.
It was not given a fair chance by a public who knows nothing about ancient history much less Alexander and his army. The filmed packed so much into its time! Unless the movie was 2 hours more you could not pack it all in. I have over 70 books on Alexander and his battles/army etc. The film hit it on the head.
It's sad knowing if you gave another director the same production props and storyline +actors, they would have done a far BETTER and proper job than Oliver stone.
