Doesn't have random people in hazmat suits doing random boring things. 2. Isn't a random variation of level 0 or the poolrooms 3. Isn't noticeably fake or unrealistic 4. Thats of a level nobody else has really tried recreating yet.
_and remember, once the ladder breaks and you fall in the pit, eventually landing in the endless forest, you'll just have to be concentrated on not looking behind you..._
Absolutely Stunning! I was hooked from the beginning, right to the end. I'm not sure how to describe it, but your liminal spaces are designed in such a way that they look like an extension of the backrooms themselves, almost like a backrooms for the backrooms. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to see what else you will share!
Here's one, level 343 "hall of mirrors" its one of the smallest levels in the backrooms, its also one the most dangerous. You have to navigate a maze where every room looks identical and all the walls and ceilings are mirrors. As you progress your reflection will start to change into a horrifying monster and all while you're steadily loosing your sanity.
this video is oddly comforting to me as I sit here and meditate with my libyan desert glass and small glass of wine. (*I usually feel uncomfortable or terrified watching liminal videos but it was like the "unexpected items in a plain atmosphere became predictable and therefore comfortable. if that makes sense.) Great video!
For the genre, this is practically perfect. Wonderful sets, excellent sound design, very realistic camera movement, and some truly gorgeous lighting choices. I especially love the multicolored arch hallway with the checkered floor. Great job.
Thats a main staple of the level regardless of the manifestation. It's essentially the "true entrance to hell" as stated in the wiki. If you manage to make it to this archway without dying or falling into the void, your doing well.
@@DarkSektori I haven't followed any of the lore (except for common threads/themes many videos share). What captured my interest the most about the Backrooms is the solo (often minimalist) filmmaking aspect. When I went to film school in 2001, the concept of one person making a CGI short film was a rare novelty, and on this scale, borderline science fiction. The Backrooms reignited my desire to make movies now that I don't need a budget, cast, crew, or even locations. However, I'm almost a year into Blender now and my found footage tests pale in comparison to the majority of what I've seen on TH-cam. Hopefully I'll make something worth uploading eventually, LOL. Cheers, and thanks for the bit of lore.
@@SewerTapesThis and the SCP universe, honestly I think you could merge the two universes together. I would love to see Entity 1 the "Red Knight" go up against SCP-682 "the impossible to kill reptile" who hates all life and wants to eradicate all life.
@@DarkSektori I don't know much about SCP either, except the core concept, and that there are creatures with unique abilities and designations. It does sound like the two universes could combine in cool ways though, for sure.
SPECTACULAR work from start to finish! Loved the randomly placed items and furniture, and so many incredible looking designs, from the rainbow coloured area, to the expansive awe inspiring areas. The sizes was INCREDIBLE, putting into perspective how big areas of the Backrooms can become! The chase in the forest was TERRIFYING. The sounds of what was chasing the Wanderer left me on edge. 10/10 for the Found Footage!
5:00 Why do I feel like I'm at a North Korean company picnic? Great vid, btw. 👍 I appreciate your attention to detail that really add to the overall experience. The sound and camera movement feels like it's striking a nice balance.
Possibly the most interesting and well done Backrooms video I've seen so far. I love your design, and the variety keeps things really interesting. Lots of awesome environments but for some reason the wall of balconies around 6:43 really stuck out to me. I think the nonsense of it being indoors with just a plane of carpet and bare walls around it was particularly unnerving.
Trust me when I tell you this level is way more dangerous then this video shows. Your biggest concern here is the ground, holes and gaps will appear randomly scattered throughout the level, fall into one of those, you will fall into the void ....for eternity (its impossible to die in the void)
I suffered with dizziness and slight headache from the hurky jerky movements of this but I wanted to see what the commentators saw and this was everything they said and worth my dizzying headache. Bravo!
To me that makes it more believable because, if it were me I certainly wouldn't be able to keep the camera stable, plus you have to understand the nature of this level (level 666) it's one of those backrooms levels that you pray to whatever God you belive in, to never go to. Let's just say the guy in this video who falls into the forest at the end (thats infested with entities that immediately start hunting you the moment you get there) met one of "least worst" of fates in this level. You have a disturbingly high chance of accidentally ending up in the void, which is an endless dark plane, where you'll likely be trapped forever (its impossible to die in the void)
This is amazing! I can't believe how realistic everything looks. Your sound design is spot-on. Congratulations on such a masterpiece. By the way, what is the name of the song that plays at 4:15? I know I've heard it before and I cannot remember the name for anything. Thanks in advance!
Me: *Seeing the guy cross the bridge* "Since when did walking on those cheap metal ladders of that era as a bridge became a good idea, ah right backrooms logic, lol" :3
one of the best backrooms vids and i've basically seen all of them (hundreds). this is how i would do it too with some really strange and massive areas but i can't make CGI so maybe later
You’ve really got the textures and light hitting surfaces/textures down, it’s really realistic almost all of it indistinguishable from real life. Especially carpets and tiles ‘ wallpaper
The explorer has the unbearable urge to open each door, not knowing what lies on the other side. Curiosity kills the cat. Very nice rendering. It doesn't look like CGI, but as if it were a real set this was filmed on. What software do you use?
Oh a few years ago I read something about the level at the end. Not much animated coverage of it and definitely not the place you'd want to find yourself. great work! Do you mind me asking what programs you use to put these together? If not it's okay, just curious as I've thought of making my own.
what was that sound at the end? i went past a radio station in my car one night and it sounded just like that but distorted music and talking. sounded super demonic and the next day i went back to that station and it was a Christian talk show.
I know its a death destination, but I think it'd be pretty chill to blaze up in the backrooms, especially in the vast areas where it makes you feel small. Though the claustrophobic areas would be good to hotbox, they're usually the most unnerving, can't help but feel like a big abstract monster will peak out at you in said small areas and really freak you out.
Yeah like the Cyberdemon from doom. This is a very dangerous level and yet there's way worse levels then this. -Level 343 -Sub-level of Level 0 called the "red rooms" its recently discovered, everyone who has gone there have never been seen again. -Level ! -level 611 -ϕ "Level Phi"/or level 1.618033988749894. Im very late, but i rlly admire your videos, especially this one. I rlly like the way you designed liminal spaces to not be only same endless corridors, but a pure abstraction changing sizes and environment. I have a quick question too, what are these big blue things at 5:51? Tbh they the abstract and grotesque feeling that anything you can imagine can be in the backrooms. Great work and got new subscriber!! Waiting for new amazing content
Just Giant Pillars, the blue really makes them stand out though. Yeah they don't make any sense, remember this is the backrooms after all, and understand that this level will be different for every wanderer, because it's based off their fears. There will be several significant elements that remain though regardless of how the level manifests itself. 1. You always start in the infinite hallway with the Japanese torii gates style architecture. 2. The Neon colored hallway with "hello gorgeous" at the end. 3. The stairway entrance to level 404 (market 404) don't ever go there 4. The forest beneath the level thats infested with entities that will immediately start hunting you. In which case you're probably screwed.
@@DarkSektori idk why I thought these pillars were some sort of water containers so thats why I was asking 😭 this footage itself has very grotesque and large places so I suggest that the wanderers fear is megalophobia (fear of large)
@@kreatywnosc could be, not to mention a fear of picnic tables. But this looks so believable like it could exist somewhere. Level 666 is often considered one of the worst backrooms levels you could ever find yourself in, right up there with level ! "Run for your life" or level "you cheated". Personally I think there is way worse levels then this anyway
I was thinking of common tactics to get out of mazes but soon as he opened that door to what looked like an apartment complex I realized nope I’m never getting out 😂
This is a level that does it's dammedest at ensuring you don't survive long upon arrival. You actually have a higher chance ending up in the void here then most other levels. In fact being killed by an entity in this level is one the least worse ways a wanderer can meet their demise here, and this doesn't even factor in the draining effects the level can have on your sanity, that's a totally different hazard all on its own. Sometimes in the backrooms, "death is a better fate".
Been a while since I’ve watched any backrooms content and I’m glad I find this one. Well done ! Great design work! My only complaint would be to have the “camera man” linger on signs a bit more as they become unreadable, and to have him linger on unexpected sights a bit longer. Like, he acted like those massive blue… holding tanks things where nothing to wonder or worry about and I was like, “whooow, dude… I’d be staring in awe at least for a few seconds at those!!!” Granted, maybe he’s seen millions of them.
Those were just big blue pillars, really cool color though. There's 4 characteristics this level has regardless of the manifestation the level itself takes. 1. The Japanese torii gates architecture of the main infinite hallway. 2. The neon colored archway passage with the words "hello gorgeous" in golden letters at the end. 3. The sign that says "market 404" actually leads to the entrance of level 404. (Warning do not go to level 404 unless you want to know what a glitchfest in the backrooms is like). In other words the only obvious exit to level 666 is to another level (404) and honestly being in level 404 i think is worse because it's very nature prevents you from thinking rationally, your essentially in a glitch ridden level, error coding itself into Oblivion, you want to know what being inside a pc hard drive thats collapsing in on itself is like? Go to level 404 4. The dark forest that's underneath the level, it's like a sub-level, you don't ever want to end up in this forest, because its infested with the most dangerous of entities which will attack on sight. But as dangerous of a level this is, its paradise compared to Level 319. Where you age 1 year every 5 minutes before eventually turning to ashes, and there's only 1 exit, yeah if you fail to get out of this level, within 10 minutes you'll know all about it.
He's actually lucky, falling into a hole in this level will go one of two ways, 1. You'll end up in a seemingly infinite dark forest (sub-level) infested and I mean "infested" with some of the most dangerous entities in the backrooms, hounds, smilers, skin stealers, death moths you name it. 2. You fall into the void and will fall into endless blackness for eternity (its impossible to die in the void) The wanderer in this video ended up in the forest, he's lucky because his chances at survival in these woods are near 0 which is still a better fate then the void.
In my version he would have fallen deep down under the network of rooms. Out of bound in the classic shadow void. Where he would look up seeing everything. Other people on different levels. Where exits were and stuff like that.
I assume the the guy filming the fotage is sceard of "liminal colorful spaces" only since the level is made of the person biggest fear and its made different for everyone so this guy had have fear of colorful 1960-2000s liminal space
@@DarkSektori yeh but what about all the creepy stuff stalking you and all that ? That would scare the dog shit outta me, especially once you realize your terribly lost possibly forever, no way.
@@deborahchesser7375 Um the Crimson Forest is completely safe, in fact its a much sought after level and considered a sanctuary. Its habitable and communities can thrive here. Yeah getting there is incredibly dangerous and the topography is very unique to say the least but it's peaceful and many wanderers choose to stay when they arrive. There are several levels that if I ever went to, I'd never leave, like level 3,699 the Neon Poolrooms.
@@deborahchesser7375 Not every level is like that, the Crimson Forest is completely safe and in fact many wanderers choose to stay when they arrive, its a place where communities can thrive and do in fact. Yeah getting there is incredibly dangerous and the topography is very unique to say the least but it's peaceful and serene. Level 3,699 the Neon Poolrooms is another example of a level I'd never leave, another safe level with plenty of supplies and has a peaceful atmosphere. Yes there's terrifying and dangerous levels you never want to end uo in like level 834 an infinite maze-like hellscape of interconnected staircases suspended in an endless sky-like void with a strong breeze and random storms with lightning, and did i mention that staircases are metal. Level -319 is a level where you age one year every 5 minutes until you turn to ashes.
Its essentially a dark forest infested with entities that will attack on sight, thats what he's running from, its essentially a sub-level of level 666 and probably the 2nd most dangerous part of the level. There's also something known as the "gate effect" which makes entities "considerably quicker" here, so yeah. Its doubtful anyone could survive this forest, its a deadzone, the whole level is a deadzone in fact. The biggest danger though is not this forest, its falling into the void because this level has cracks, holes and gaps in the ground that appear at random that all wanderers must avoid, these lead to the void. This is a fate worse then death, because you can't die in the void (its impossible) you literally are going fall into endless blackness for eternity. To me this is probably one of the most dangerous levels in the backrooms, because this level knows your deepest fears and will those fears against you, meaning every manifestation of this level will differ for each wanderer. Which makes navigation difficult and mapping the level is impossible. Its advised if you had to choose between falling into the void or be killed (un-alived) by an entity, to please choose the latter.
I get what you mean, remember this level will be different for every wanderer so its next to impossible to describe the actual level itself, each manifestation must be rated individually. And will have varying degrees of danger and hazards, don't worry this level will do its dammedest to ensure the wanderer doesn't leave the level....alive anyway, then again in the backrooms there are fates worse then death. Such as falling into the void.
btw nothing to be scared about when the he was on the lader he didnt fall the camera fell and someone that was in the forest took it and continued with it
Okay if that were me I would have locked the doors in that room and took a nap on the couch don’t get why after all that walking no one ever just takes a sec to just sit down in relatively safe looking room with locks to gather your thoughts lol
A massive entity composed of fire and smoke pursues you towards the ladder--you have no choice but to cross. Down below is an abyss leading to the Void--the space in between levels. Out in the middle of the ladder, the entity on your heels, you turn around and shout "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!" The ladder breaks plunging both of you into the chasm. Fear not, for you shall return...as [insert name here] THE WHITE
Well your kinda correct, some of the holes in the level do lead directly to the void, but others lead to this infinite entity infested forest which i consider a Sub-level of Level 666 because it's always there regardless of how the rest of the level manifests itself.
The level will manifest depending on the wanderer's fears so the level will be different for every wanderer. This is a level you never should go to, though its not the worst level in the backrooms to be in, there's way worse. In fact the staircase with the sign that says "market 404" thats on this level leads to level 404 which is worse because that level can best be described as a "sanity draining glitchfest".

Can I just ask how you you did this? Was "everything" in the video cpu generated or were there actual props constructed to use in the smaller areas like the furniture?
Its nice to have a found footage video that
1. Doesn't have random people in hazmat suits doing random boring things.
2. Isn't a random variation of level 0 or the poolrooms
3. Isn't noticeably fake or unrealistic
Thank you for supporting the channel. I really appreciate it.
Finally! Some originality in the Backrooms sphere.
this video is oddly comforting to me as I sit here and meditate with my libyan desert glass and small glass of wine.
Great job.
Many thanks!
Thats a main staple of the level regardless of the manifestation. It's essentially the "true entrance to hell" as stated in the wiki. If you manage to make it to this archway without dying or falling into the void, your doing well.
@@DarkSektori
I haven't followed any of the lore (except for common threads/themes many videos share).
@@DarkSektori
I don't know much about SCP either, except the core concept, and that there are creatures with unique abilities and designations.
The forest you're referring to is infested with entities, usually of the most lethal kind. Yeah your kinda screwed if you wind up here.
@@DarkSektori very true!
Much more creative than a lot of the other backrooms videos, much enjoyed

Amazing liminal spaces, and great video (subscribed with notifications on ✅)
Thank you so much 😁
it's amazing how well complex expedition depicted this kind of environments - I enjoyed it thoroughly
That was absolutely stunning, what a dark trip. Your use of placing, environment and sound is chef’s kiss 🙏😎
Sweet video...keep up the great work
Thanks 👍

You my good man have earned a sub for quality work.
The area at 4.30 seems oddly relaxing. Especially with the music
This is amazing! I can't believe how realistic everything looks. Your sound design is spot-on. Congratulations on such a masterpiece. By the way, what is the name of the song that plays at 4:15? I know I've heard it before and I cannot remember the name for anything. Thanks in advance!
Me: *Seeing the guy cross the bridge*
"Since when did walking on those cheap metal ladders of that era as a bridge became a good idea, ah right backrooms logic, lol"

I’m looking at the comments hiding based on how terrifying this is. Great video!
Did you make these videos if you did you deserve more than 1k subscribers.
Yes and thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Lovely work! 💪💯
one of the best backrooms vids and i've basically seen all of them (hundreds). this is how i would do it too with some really strange and massive areas but i can't make CGI so maybe later
Your footage is awesome man🔥🔥🔥
You’ve really got the textures and light hitting surfaces/textures down, it’s really realistic almost all of it indistinguishable from real life. Especially carpets and tiles ‘ wallpaper
Dont saw often so good animations like this. 👍
The explorer has the unbearable urge to open each door, not knowing what lies on the other side. Curiosity kills the cat. Very nice rendering. It doesn't look like CGI, but as if it were a real set this was filmed on. What software do you use?
Really well done! Perfectly balanced elements.
Plenty of places to sit and comtemplate the doom ...

the last few seconds of distorted footage reminded me of when i leave work in a hurry after my shift is over.
Your designs really capture the liminal feeling, familiar but nonsensical, like a memory from childhood when nothing made sense.
Oh a few years ago I read something about the level at the end. Not much animated coverage of it and definitely not the place you'd want to find yourself. great work!
Do you mind me asking what programs you use to put these together? If not it's okay, just curious as I've thought of making my own.
Thank you for the great comment. It's mostly blender and adobe programs like premiere pro and after effect.
This is amazing keep it up❤
Thank you!!
why is the guy blowing air directly onto the microphone instead of breathing normally
was he afraid it wouldn't pick up? is the character fat?
"Is the character fat?"😂😂😂😂😂 You made me laugh
Good video❤❤❤❤
I'm not entirely sure of what I just watched, but it was awesome, and now I really want to buy something on home video cassette!
Whoo watching this makes it painfully obvious I would NOT escape the backrooms
what was that sound at the end? i went past a radio station in my car one night and it sounded just like that but distorted music and talking. sounded super demonic and the next day i went back to that station and it was a Christian talk show.
This is a very dangerous level and yet there's way worse levels then this.

like the way you designed liminal spaces to not be only same endless corridors, but a pure abstraction changing sizes and environment. I have a quick question too, what are these big blue things at 5:51? Tbh they the abstract and grotesque feeling that anything you can imagine can be in the backrooms. Great work and got new subscriber!! Waiting for new amazing content
Thank you so much!
@@depedi5373 Ofc you deserve it! What are these blue things at 5:51 tho? I'm really wondering cs they seem so grotesque 😭
3. The stairway entrance to level 404 (market 404) don't ever go there
4. The forest beneath the level thats infested with entities that will immediately start hunting you. In which case you're probably screwed.
@@DarkSektori idk why I thought these pillars were some sort of water containers so
thats why I was asking 😭 this footage itself has very grotesque and large places so I suggest that the wanderers fear is megalophobia (fear of large)
I was thinking of common tactics to get out of mazes but soon as he opened that door to what looked like an apartment complex I realized nope I’m never getting out 😂
Haha...
Thanks for the great comment. Also thanks for the great advice
Go to level 404
OK WOW! THIS ONE WAS SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY! THANKS FOR THIS! 😱👌😁👌
Thank you for the great comment.
👍🌝
wow... the feeling at 5:00 make me really uneasy, Imagine walking in that kind of empty space.. alone.. brrrrrrr...got chills..
Watching these types of videos feel exactly like a dream especially this one
It reminds me of having a really bizarre dream waking up and thinking that was really weird 😊
great work
side note...if the ladder was flipped the other way around it would gain an additional few inches of length ... making it much less likely to slip
He's actually lucky, falling into a hole in this level will go one of two ways,
1. You'll end up in a seemingly infinite dark forest (sub-level) infested and I mean "infested" with some of the most dangerous entities in the backrooms, hounds, smilers, skin stealers, death moths you name it.
2. You fall into the void and will fall into endless blackness for eternity (its impossible to die in the void)
The wanderer in this video ended up in the forest, he's lucky because his chances at survival in these woods are near 0 which is still a better fate then the void.
ネオンサインにたどり着けるだけですごいのに。
If you reach this neon hallway without dying or falling directly into the void, you're doing well.
In my version he would have fallen deep down under the network of rooms. Out of bound in the classic shadow void. Where he would look up seeing everything. Other people on different levels. Where exits were and stuff like that.
liminal hell indeed. Insta subscribed!
I assume the the guy filming the fotage is sceard of "liminal colorful spaces" only since the level is made of the person biggest fear and its made different for everyone so this guy had have fear of colorful 1960-2000s liminal space
Being trapped in the backrooms is one of the worst fates I can even comprehend.
Depending on the level, I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my days in the Crimson Forest.

Thank you so much.
What if the Backrooms is actually purgatory, and if one goes to level 666..... 👺🔥🥵
Either Japanese Gateway or Rainbow hall. Those were the safest places.
And why not take a nap on that comfy bed?
There are no safe places on level 666
Can someone please explain to me what was going on after he felt? I can't understand the ending.
I'd have a mental breakdown cause how quite this footage is. Id definitely feel the anitexty 😅
Fantastic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
The way I saw it I was thinking to myself that this doesn’t feel like hell and instant an unpredictable void between realms.
Such as falling into the void.
btw nothing to be scared about when the he was on the lader he didnt fall the camera fell and someone that was in the forest took it and continued with it
How did you create the VHS effects?🤔
Truly marvelous. One of the most mindfucking designs I've seen.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice. This is the way I like to scare myself.
Okay if that were me I would have locked the doors in that room and took a nap on the couch don’t get why after all that walking no one ever just takes a sec to just sit down in relatively safe looking room with locks to gather your thoughts lol
Why did you put watch carefully on the video im Confused why you put to wtch carefully
was it made in blender?.
That laser part reminds of scream 5
00:50is is another way to show level ! With no entitys
You are in level 666❤
6:00 I swear this area could be any 1980’s retirement complex or hotel in south florida, lol.
