Nooo, the closest dupe is definitely the Al Haramain dupes, although i always will rebuy my OG's, i love my red temptation, but the Al Haramain clone is just the best dupe, better than Armaf clone and of course, than the Zara clone, the EdP clone is unfortunately discontinued, but the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum clone, is the same close to the OG, as the EdP clone was, its Amber Oud Ruby Edition, the DNA is 1:1 close, the performance is even more potent from projection, lasting power and silage....

I was told it effects the scent cycle. Opening, dry down, to close. fragrances can vary greatly. I experienced this with Havicat the opening was awful to me but the dry down absolutely amazing.
All it does is rub away the top notes. So you won’t get the full scent experience but in the long run it doesn’t really matter bcuz top notes don’t last the entire fragrance most of the time. On the other hand, if you hate the top notes rubbing is a great technique to get through them quicker.
i have the baccarat rouge and my oh my does that last a long time. i wore it for my 8th grade graduation and i wore a headband with my dress and i sprayed a bit on the headband to make it a little more noticeable smell and even after two years, the scent is still faintly there

I would rather save for the real thing if I absolutely love a fragrance. I got a purse size spray of BR540 for $39.99 and I have enjoyed using it but I don’t love it enough to spend $425. So many people wear it now, I just hate smelling like everyone else. To be honest, I have never paid more than $200 for a fragrance, and most of mine are way less than that. There are hundreds of great smelling fragrances in the $50-$130 range and if you can get them on sale, you can spend much less.

Have you seen the videos of how to know a fake? You may have been sold a fake...that price doesn't make sense, even pre-owned doesn't come close to that low price..it's worth looking into..i was sold a fake on ebay and got my money refunded. 👍

That sample cost more than the good dupe! A lot of these perfumes are just a rip off. Your paying for designer brand and packaging, I’ve known Dolce&Gabbana or Mugler for example to often be a stronger scent than these very expensive ones, it’s usually because there more mass produced they can cut costs .
