Mr. Friendship That man is one of my BIGGEST ALL-TIME favorite Idols I look up to! I share (at least to me) the exact same passion, creativity, and ambition as him. And as someone who lived on the High functioning Autism Spectrum since childhood, he helped me overcome my disorder in many multiple ways. From the movies, theme parks, Broadway shows, and even his own quotes, Walt Disney was and is THE historical icon that has shaped my views on life forever! 😂😭😅 Maybe someday I will bring some of the stories that I am working on to life at Walt’s treasure chest of a studio and continue brining his legacy alive and well to the public...Especially in TODAY’s time period!

Ward was so disappointed that he was seriously thinking of quitting but Walt gave him the supervising animation position of Jiminy Cricket before he could so, therefore chaning his mind.

When it comes to Pniocchio's box office failure at the time of release, most of the audiences were disappointed that Disney didn't do a sequel to Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, as they wanted to see more dwarves. This annoyed Walt Disney as it was similar to his success with the Silly Symphony Three Little Pigs and the audience demanded more pigs, therefore did more sequels with The Big Bad Wolf (which combined the Three Pigs tale with Little Red Riding Hood, also having a wolf as the villian), Three Little Wolves (based upon The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and the three sons of The Big Bad Wolf became an inspiration for Zeke Wolf's son in Three Little Pigs comics decades later) and The Practical Pig. Although these cartoons were popular, they weren't as successful as Three Little Pigs which made Walt realize that "you can't top pigs with pigs".
However, there was a time where Disney studio was going to do a short sequel to Snow White, similiar to Tangled Ever After was to Tangled or Frozen Fever was to Frozen, called Snow White Returns (the storyboards for the planned short can be seen on the DVD and Bluray bonus features) which was also going to feature the cut scenes the Soup and Bed Building Scenes. The reason for the short to be cancelled is unknow though speculations are either Walt changed his mind about doing the sequel, the failures of Pinocchio and Fantasia made him change his priorities or the fact that the US goverment took control of the Disney Studio in order to do morale and propaganda films as United States entered World War II or possibly all three.
Summery of the story for Snow White Returns: The Dwarfs are working in their mine when they recieve a letter from Snow White announcing her visit them, Doc and the gang wants to give her a present and decides on building a bed. When they arrive to their cottage Snow White has prepared dinner and they all sit down to eat. After dinner, the dwarfs says they have a surpise for her and goes outside to get the bed but they realized that they forgot to saw off the bottom of tree trunks of which the bed posts were made from. When they finally get the bed off and carried it over to the front door and relvealed their surprise but it turns out that Snow White waited for so long that she got really tired and went to the dwarfs' bedroom to sleep. The dwarfs decides to surprise Snow White in the morning instead and themselves lay in the bed they made for their dearest friend, to sleep in it.

Looking back at Fantasia, it aged better than most films of its time, including Snow White, Pinocchio and MGM's Wizard of Oz.
For one thing, It's in color when most are in black and white.
For another, and more importantly, the lack of scripted dialogue throughout doesn't allow for 1940s acting to betray its period if you didn't know better aside from Deems Taylor's introductions, which don't involve playing a character but presenting a concert, it could be made today. And concert halls and the dresses and suits people will typically wear when attending them haven't changed in all these years. Musical instruments, and virtually everything you see in such a setting have not changed at all. And none of the animated segments are set in periods where film was a thing, so those can't betray the year the film was made. This very same film could be made today, and one who didn't know any better could be convinced this was a recent picture. If they included so much as one shot of someone's bedroom or any part of the home or shot anything of a city street, it would betray this as something from the early 20th century.

It’s also amazing how Walt wanted to make Fantasia, one of the most important animated films of all time, just because he didn’t want Mickey to be forgotten.
