      @@Seras99 dark times? How so?
Raya and the Last Dragon was amazing
Frozen 2 - meh; I didn’t care for it but I understand why people liked it
Wreck it Ralph 2 - probably the. Weakest of the last decade.
Zootopia - awesome. Well made and holds up today.
Moana - one of the best movies they ever made
Big Hero 6 - frankly I’m surprised they haven’t run this one into the ground
Frozen - over saturated pop culture, but deservedly so
Wreck it Ralph - great fun and adventure that doesn’t rely on it pop culture crutch as much as it would if Dreamworks made this
Tangled - the best Disney made since the renaissance.

My favorite aspect of Disney is that when they are in a pinch and they need to do major overhaul to get their studio back on track, they are always saved by producing a Princess movie. Snow White, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Princess and the frog/Tangled/Frozen; it seems like a classic fairy tale is the thing that always brings Disney back from a stump.

The Walt Disney Animation Studio is an iconic symbol in animation history. I believe Osamu Tezuka's 'Astro Boy (Mighty Atom)' series is one of the works that fits Disney's style the best. After the copyright expires, it would be amazing if Disney could produce a 3D classic animation of 'Astro Boy (Mighty Atom).' The combination of Disney's creativity and Astro's heartfelt story would create incredible synergy. I look forward to seeing Disney's outstanding animation skills shine through such a project in the future!

thank you so much for all of the effort put into the making of this 11+ hour video, dude! it mus've taken a long time to make all of the videos that went int this compilation with all of the research and editing you most likely had to do. i liked how you approached each movie with neutral optimism, especially when the movies "flopped" when released. you still respected the artists' effort and the work for what it is! you did an exceptional job including multiple perspectives and including various pressures that occurred behind the scenes, which gave me a greater understanding and appreciation of the true artistry of some disney movies. it's obvious you enjoy disney for what it's meant to be - simple entertainment with artistic complexity, packed full of creative imagery and pure child-like imagination! while new disney may not encompass the same fairytale beginnings with whimsical and traditionally drawn animation and visuals, i think that some of the newer movies are visually realistic and more narratively complex.
I'm more partial to disney's 2d era because i find them so warming and nostalgic - i find it to be far more charming and a timeless way of animating, but i understand that it is incredibly time-intensive and horribly expensive, so i do understand the shift to 3d. i loved seeing the behind the scenes look into the rough sketches and the preliminary concepts they had for movies like frozen and emperors new grove! kind of sad to see the more cultural designs being redesigned into a marketable entity, but the disney's character designs are always rather memorable and iconic. i personally loved mulan's concept sketches, she looked so elegant and badass that I'm almost sad to see her movie design so muddled.
that being said, i also enjoyed the insight into 'failed' projects like atlantis - passion can sometimes be failures in the eyes of others, but you can always admire the effort and love that goes into something like atlantis. likewise with something like fantasia, it was nice seeing how the movie progressed into the ages into a classic. a lot of people I've met don't care for or hate fantasia but i love it because of how unique and creative it is - it's unlike anything i have ever viewed and it enchanted me as a kid and it still does now!
after watching this, it truly cements my love for art as a whole, as well as inspiring me to continue with persuing art as a career. thank you once again!
