I finally figured out how to do these flowers and actually make them look nice. Just took some practice. But I took advice from another video and hot glued the ribbon each time I folded so the flower would stay in place. You have to be really careful especially when dealing with a more transparent ribbon. But thanks to you, I not only have ribbon roses but also a few rosebud kisses for my mom and nieces for V-Day. Thanks again!
I loved this idea and the rose kisses that I am combining them for my hubby! I used a silk organza for the kisses and a plaid fabric to make the leaves to make it look a little more manly. I'll be working on the flowers next! He's going to love it. Thank you sweetie!
Thanks a lot! my sister is getting married this year and she asked me to do something funky with the ribbons and now finally i can do it with your help! yeay :)
I have been trying to find a video on the same type of rose, but using foam strips. This is the best I've seen so far to show the turning/folding process. Thank you for posting.
Okay, I don't know if I ever told you this... but did you know your FASCINATING? you know how to do everything so well and to teach us without being confusing !! Thank you :) And, you always comment about how great Texan is but look at you! Your just as great =)
You know, this gave me an idea to use it as my wedding bouquet! I wanted roses but then decided against it since it would cost me a fortune for a one time thing but this way the bouquet will last and it will be SO much cheaper~ Thank you so much!
I have a thumbs up from the start. Not because I watched the tutorial (which I'm still watching). I got overexcited because I was able to point out that you reused a clip. Yay for dedicated subscriber!
I've used this same technique before with 2" wide cotton strips of different patterns, glued them to felt and stuck barrette clips on them. They turned out super cute, and are really simple to make from scrap material.
i used to have a machine that would make paper roses for me. i broke it apart and figured out how the machine worked, and made these when i was in grade 4. LOL. yay!
So pretty! :) Could use this to bring new life to old clothes too ^^ Or make hair accessories! Or jewelery, or a rose purse. Thanks you! This is great!
omg since you first tutorial in how to make these roses ive made so many! but i never made it into a full flower i was just makin them to put in things like headbands. i know what im going to be doing this weekend lol
I always made those when I was in third grade! I made it and then took it apart and just kept doing that. But then I forgot so thanks for refreshing my mind on how to make them
I wish you would've made this video a couple weeks ago when our club at school was making roses for Valentine's day... The people teaching me had no idea what they were doing. D;

I've watched other tutorial to make ribbon rose, and this is the easiest and most beautiful rose I've seen.. The other's just seem not normal and too perfect
@NgaVogue I think this is the easiest I can make it. As far as slower, you are welcome to pause, replay, and do the steps while u are watching! There many other rose ribbon tutorials on YT and please don't hesitate to watch them as references. It takes a bit of patience and practice. I am sure you can do it!
