The episode 0 reveal that Sylphiette became Fitz was not how the Light Novels handled it. The readers weren't given that information till closer to the actual reveal. I didn't know that till halfway through the second half of season 2. I felt like having episode 0 spoil that plot point was a bad decision, personally.
“What 16 year old has ED” is quite hurtful. I myself suffered from ED at that age and still do occasionally due to past experiences. It’s very much a real thing. And I do relate to Rudueses obsession with fixing his ED.
@albrev of course it was out of ignorance. Doesn't make it any less rough when you've gone through something like that. Especially when it's talking about it like that that makes it so hard to even open up about those conversations. They aren't evil, nor to I think they ever meant to be hurtful.
@@trickyagent127 I don’t either. I honestly love their reactions, they really try to understand the show and genuinely reacts. It is just ignorance and it’s nothing worth fussing over. I just made the comment on spur and didn’t think much of it. My bad, seemed like I was mad.
@@NeroERX i appreciate you acknowledging it most likely wasn't done maliciously. I can definitely understand how something said out of ignorance can still affect someone, regardless of intentionality.
The fact that they keep dropping these a week apart this past month is dedication. I would be happy even with a monthly upload but this is something else.
I believe Aisha's outburst at Rudy around 6:36:57 was because in her eyes, she worked really hard to get a perfect score so she could choose not to go to school. Meanwhile, in Aisha's perspective, Norn *didn't* work hard and got a bad score, yet she still got what she wanted (which was to go to the dorms instead of living with Rudeus); So Aisha felt it was unfair treatment and that Rudy liked Norn more, and was trying to call out reasons for that being the case (hence why she called out her mother, and how she is only half-sister to Rudy). She's only a child, so she probably just got emotional.
@@Kirito_KR10 As is just about everything else... they skipped a lot this season and it did not help fleshing out the characters and their conflicts...
10:09:51 Rudeus actually thinks about that in the light novel and tells Lucy in Japanese and English "You found out, right? You're in another world" lol. It's also cute how he thinks of how he wouldn't care if Lucy was reincarnated and would love her as a dad like Paul did.
They glossed over how they deal with who sleeps with Rudeus and when. The wives have their own rooms, they take turns sleeping with Rudeus. Sylphiette and Roxy discuss this between themselves.
Roxy refrained from sleeping with him until Lucie was born, as her own form of penance. And Sylphie could only sleep beside Rudeus while she was still pregnant. And then of course there's all the hubbub of having a newborn. But after getting chased out of the room by Lilia so they'd take care of Lucie and Sylphie after the birth, Rudeus and Roxy did have a conversation about what was to come (namely, each other). We'll see if S3E1 starts like vol 13 did.
10:08:51 FYI, yes, Sylphie and Roxy did discuss the sleep schedule. It was in the LN but ommited in the anime. You're right, there're a lot of subtle details in the LN. iirc, there're much more family discussions in the LN, which is great to see there (but sad that it couldn't fit into the show). For example, Sylphie and Rudy were thoroughly planning their wedding ceremony, all the organizational parts, taking into account all the guests's statuses, relationships, etc., it really wasn't easy. And that's just one of the examples and there're more to come. Looking forward to season 3!
For young men experiencimg ED, a lot of times its psychological or due to their lifestyle (too much alcohol, poor diet etc) It can also be due to trauma (physical or mental) or simply performance anxiety where theyre so worried about losing the erection, they over fixate on it and it happens anyways. Another cause is porn induced erectile dysfunction or PIED. With online Porn so readily accessible, the things people watch aren't realistic or commonplace so they become desensitized to regular sex and it becomes boring to them
Heh yeah it's been a year for me, just kinda out of nowhere. Never started dating until I was 21, first girlfriend and I was wholly incapable but I wasn't sure when/why/how it happened. Although, thankfully it doesn't matter much so long as you find joy in making the other person feel good more so than yourself. In my case at least.
I won't lie, it was pretty irritating that they couldn't accept a young person going through it. Just because they haven't seen it themselves doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Rudy had gone through many lows in his previous life and was finally experiencing some highs, only to be brought crashing back down to the lowest point again.
I myself gone through it at 25 with PIED and performance anxiety. It's a lot better now at 32 as I focus on my diet and exercise (to improve blood flow) as well as psychologically just being present in the moment rather than in my own head.
@SantaClaus-kk8zr I'm glad you managed to find some middle ground and hopefully you have a partner that's understanding. If it's something you're concerned over, it might be beneficial to go to your physician to do a quick physical to make sure there's no issue physically speaking. While it's common for psychological issues like performance anxiety or porn ro be the cause for ED in young men, it can also be a physical issue as well that you may not be aware of. I knew guys who simply had abnormally low testosterone and after being given a treatment of TRT he was going after anything that walked lol. Not to say thats the case for you and if you're OK with your situation then by all means continue with it, otherwise I'd look at my own lifestyle and make a trip to my doctor especially going through this at such a young age
My first ED was at 16, i was addicted to porn since 12, but when i went to sex sometimes before ED, my girlfriend was really problematic, it made me anxious and all that combined made me ED, now i'm cured 100%
@@kurimiaisukurimu i mean i think she just doesn't believe it happens irl, it's not about it being a joke or ridicule, it's more so they are just not aware of it. All you have to do is see them criticizing the princess for laughing at him to understand they think ridiculing him for it is wrong.
8:09:30 Elinalise's grudge against Paul was detailed in the mobile game's unlockable side-story. Or it would've been, if the game hadn't been discontinued before it got to that point. Fortunately, the transcript was released on the internet. Paul immediately declared he's disbanding the party when they learned of Zenith's pregnancy. Elinalise was the most vehement opposing voice, so Paul doubled and tripled down on his decision. In the end, he dismissed their friendship and the time they spent together, and told them he's keeping the party's reward for their latest job to himself. So that's what he did: he walked away with Zenith, went to the guild, withdrew the reward, and disbanded the party. He reached Roa a half-year later and begged Philip for a job and a place to stay. He got settled in Buena, Lilia started working for him, and a short while later Rudeus was born.
1:31:17 Rip to all my fellow dudes who actually struggled with this. It really sucks, and yes it can happen even when your a teenager. You probably don't hear about it as much because men are probably ashamed to talk about it and have to face the stigmas associated with it.
Slavery is literally an institute, sanctioned by governments everywhere, without having influence over actual royalty and other rulers, the most Rudy can influence is at the interpersonal level. No point rebelling against the practice of slavery in his current position.
not really the issue. it's more that he seems to be completely unbothered by it. and while he didn't really dwell on it too much in the books either, Season 2 is doing generally a very poor job showing Rudeus' inner thoughts. I have seen so many reactors completely misinterpreting scenes because of that.
This is addressed in the novel, it just got cut from the anime. And while it would give some context, I understand why it was cut, because it is circular argumentation. The end of it is the realization that he cant do anything about it. He could choose not to participate but that would be denying himself a valuable asset, so his personal stance is just to treat July as best he can. Keep in mind that July would have died had he not bought her, so in a sense by not participating she would have become a sacrifice in order satisfy some kind of moral argument. Refusing to participate creates an objectively worse outcome.
@@beniocabeleleiraleila5799 Nah man, if I were reincarnated, I would be bothered by it my entire life. Perhaps I wouldn't be bothered if I had no other frame of reference like growing up in that world without having lived in this one, but at that point I'd be a different person entirely which makes the entire argument moot.
I different perspective to bring on Rudeus's 50 years of age when judging him by his accumulated life experience is: - he experienced life from the age of 0-15 normally. - After the school incident, he shut himself away from the would for 20 years, where the only things he experiences are his own gross perversions, and nothing regarding actually being an adult (that's his fault, but that doesn't change the results) - after dying and being reincarnated, he then experienced the first 15 years of his life... again. So, summing up, despite his actual age, the only life experience he has involves being a kid (twice), and being a pervert. So, I don't really see the fairness in judging his actions based on his full age. His perverted moments are still fair game though lol.
@@houseofaction yeah, I know, that's why I used phrases like "accumulated life experience". Fact of, he remembers his past life, so even though his brain and body is 15, he still has an accumulative 50 years of memories. I'm saying that he didn't really gain any life experience in the last 20 years of his past life, so he didn't really grow up past the age of 15 before bend reincarnated and living those first 15 years again.
this is what 'tHiS sHoW iS fOr pEdOs' people can't understand. rudy was around 40 only physically but every other aspect of himself was stucked as a teenager. now that he's reincarnated, he's no longer a 40 year old physically, he's like a teenager emotionally in a baby's body. but you can't also just add his emotional age to his now growing body because he's only reliving the experiences of a growing kid. he only truly started growing once his physical body finally caught up with his mental age that got stucked as a teen because he's experiencing everything after that for the first time with a synced body and brain
@@lumie372 in oshi no ko they tackeled this pretty well, even if only for a short notice. Your Body is so important about how you experience your life. The complexity of your perception changes how you perceive the world and form memories, child dementia leaves big gaps in your memory and twist scenarios you lived through, your mindset and psychological disorders are bound to how your interprets them, also your hormones have a crazy influence how strong you perceive meotions and which moments of your life become permanent memories. Its hard to say, if his bodily growth had influence on his past life memories, if they changed how he perceived them and which memories stuck. It is not actually an accumulated 50 years, because you dont keep all that in your memory, either you more just keep key stones that are responsible for the person you then are.
At 5:52:00, Remember Paul is Advanced rank in all three sword styles. He trained Rudy while Rudy was at home and then had Ghislainne train him for a while more still. Rudy is at most Intermediate rank in all three styles thanks to Paul. To be considered Advanced like Paul, one has to manifest a battle aura, but Rudy can't. But because of his Eye of Foresight he can overcome the lack of battle aura.
he can't overcome the lack of battle aura with the eye, the eye just let him see 1-3 seconds into the future and with the lack of battle aura his body speed reaction can't keep up with his eye against saint? or king+ ranked swordsmen.
@@uriel-i1w he can keep up with Saint tier to a degree as long as he has a healthy distance from his opponent eg, Gallus North Saint Cleaner and a North Emperor in Vol17. He just can't fight with swords at that level. And, although Paul is advanced in all schools, it's clear he may actually be Saint tier in Sword God, maybe even on the doorstep of King tier. He just never had a Master to teach him the secret techniques of the schools. Gal Farion (Sword God) & Ghislaine (Sword King) both mentioned that the title doesn't always portray the level. Both said Eris was Sword Emperor level but in order to gain the title she'd have to defeat Ghislaine, which Eris refused to do. I dont think Rudeus Problem with Sara was that hard to grasp, thinking about what all the backstory is. I'am a little sad that you don't try to understand and even making fun of this. He allways had pretty serious Problems and just because his Body is young those mental issues do not magical clear up and disapear. He was abused that heavy he shut himself out of society for 15 years, he had no relationships at all, not romaantic, not freindly, this second life supposed to be second chacne but the trauma is still in there, his family got sepparated in the most horrible way and the first time he actually put his trust in people all of them leave him. First ruijerd, second eris and for him in a horrible way. Of course as an outsider who hasn't lived through the same, you can be objectiv about it, but in the same position, depressed, with incredible trust issues and a warped view on society and relations?
I do find it hilarious how sympathize for Sara who had one bad night turned out she tried to get with a jerk as worse than Rudy situation. Who has decades of PTSD of being bully and alone and first girl he finally falls in love with abandons him in his eyes. Leaving him alone again and too afraid to get attached to people but doesn't want to be alone again either so puts on air of being overly nice. All so when he finally has a chance to have relationship again has psychologically problem can't get over the fear that he will be hurt again and so his body reacts the way it does. Then have knowledge of understanding Sara said mean things she did like she didn't like Rudy to protect her feelings but when Rudy does same in the morning in what he thought was private and is drunk you say he deserves to get hit. The hit and miss of awareness is impressive.
Yeah I mean their entire response to that episode was very 'men's mental health is not taken seriously' coded. Watching a scene where someone pretty clearly tries to off themselves and taking away "I feel worse for her" is... a choice.
9:37:00 By the way, in the novels, Rudy's condition was far worse At that point, he was locked up for an entire month. He kept dreaming and playing the entire hydra fight in his head over and over, thinking what choices did he do wrong, mayne he should have dedicated his life to sword if the hydra is magic resistant, maybe he should have done this and that. For several days, he wouldn't eat anything, essentially, he was set for self destruction. And as you could see, he refused help very agressively as well The party thought Rudy could get through it, because they believed he is strong as they've never seen him dealing with trauma. But also, his problems went WAY deeper than Paul's death. He didn't care for his life anymore. To him, it was all a huge mistake, that incident essentially scratched out all the progress he had made. The only one who had even the slightest idea was Roxy and she knew that he would have died. Another thing is they initially thought Elinalise could do it, but despite having "played the villain" previously, she refused out of her faithfulness to Cliff. Then they considered a brothel, or even Lilia, but they figured he would have outright refused. The only one who could have done it was Roxy, someone he deeply admired and (although not explicitly) had feelings for. He was the one who threw her on the bed, not Roxy, and he handled her quite "violently" for which he was "both grateful and remorseful for". And after this, Roxy heard him relay to her the ENTIRE story of his life, from previous world and this world too, so he could explain to her properly exactly how he feels(obv he said "it's about some person"). Roxy consoled him, and in a (as Rudeus pointed out) generic manner, told him that he needs to focus on the people he still has. Understanding ALL OF THAT, Elinalise realized that Roxy was going to make herself a scapegoat for Rudy's sake, so he would even come back alive. Perhaps, she realized as someone who has done it before that a girl as pure as Roxy wouldn't handle it. That is why she LIED to Rudeus, saying that Roxy might be PREGNANT from him. In Rudeus' eyes, Roxy was the reason he had the courage to step out into the world at all, she saved him a second time, she is the only person he confided in in regards to his real trauma and she genuinely, truly loved him. After all that, he would just abandon her with a child and go on to live his jolly life with a family like nothing? He wanted to stay faithful to Sylphie, but he would be allowing Roxy to hurt herself in the process, THAT was his moral dilemma. The anime glossed over some things for the sake of runtime and perhaps to make Rudy more agreeable considering the cut content, but I feel like a lot of this, while making it even messier, would explain better the motivation of each person involved.
Side note: It was actually only Rudy that promised her to stay faithful, Sylphie said from the beginning she would be fine if he brought more wives. However, she then told him that he'd have to take it up with her if he is to bring someone else into the house. Basically, she wasn't hurt at all. Though, if it was Nanohoshi, she'd probably freak out worse than when she said she caused the teleportation incident.
I appreciate the comment but, that long ass comment will not attract a reader. Maybe next time make it simpler and shorter but has all of the details. Cause I wouldn't believe that half of that is necessary to put in one comment
@@imjustlikedenji5954 another thing is that afaik the first request Sylphie made after the marriage proposal was for Rudeus to not disappear, I imagine she would be grateful to Roxy for helping him fulfill that request, as there was a chance that, had Roxy not done what she did, he wouldn't be able to go back
Damn not surprised to see Steph to make light of the ED situation as it’s not something she can really understand but expected Wes to be a bro and understand how that shit would suck. The whole “how does a 16 year old get ed thing” makes sense when you look at it from a physical stand point since that’s pretty rare but it’s definitely more common to occur within young men on a mental/ psychological level. Had a friend in HS who went through the struggle of keeping it hard with his gf of 3 years because of a depressive episode from the death of his dad. Tho ngl it is a very bizarre and kind of funny topic to be randomly introduced into a fantasy anime lol. At least we has Luke for the male perspective on how another guy would understand the severity of some shit like ED especially when ur young
5:10 we learn quite late (I don't think it's a spoiler) that the teleportation circle and magic is not instantaneously, but the person being teleported does seem to be locked in time (and basically the longer the distance you travel, the more time it takes to reappear, so basically you freeze and travel trough some kind of space where time stops for you and then reappear, even though there is a delay, normally it is a lot more faster then normal travel, if the news reached the ears of the princes before Sylphy, it must mean she felt from the hell of a height distance, maybe she was even unconscious while falling at an altitude where there is no breathable air, kinda crazy)
Teleportation still must be way faster than any sort of conventional communication in that world. It only takes about 15 minutes with teleportation for Rudeus and Elinalise to travel to a different continent. That's faster than an airplane. Sylphie didn't teleport super far from Fittoa. What's more likely is that someone in the Asura Kingdom was able to see the Teleportation Incident happen as this big ball of blue light and notify the royalty. Asura is not far from Fittoa.
Buena Village is within the Fittoa Region which is part of the Asura Kingdom. There were witnesses to the event that reported it immediately and the news spread like wildfire. The anime differs slightly from the light novel in many ways, this one included: the princess doesn't believe Sylphy's story immediately because the news has not reached them yet, but for the sake of brevity, the anime shortened the story arc to fit neatly into an episode.
as soon as Season 2 finished airing, i got to re-reading the entire Light Novel start to finish. there are a lot of changes they made to make the anime flow better, but overall i believe they were pretty minor or didn't change the storyline too drastically. of course the LN has a lot more attention to little details like Rudy's constant inner monologue, some chapters from the POV's of Roxy and Sylphie, and more, but i think this season was handled spectacularly. i cannot WAIT for Season 3 and the ridiculous stuff that will happen then. also i love how the season opens up with Princess Ariel talking about nipples, this show is hilarious. i do also LOVE that the nerdiest gangly guy in the show ends up being one of Rudy's closest friends, Zanoba is a real one as for Sylphie and Roxy, you have to remember that Sylphie was next to Luke Notos Greyrat(a well known womanizer) and Princess Ariel Anemoi Asura(possibly the second horniest woman in the story) for YEARS. and not only that, but she was witness to the workings of the Asuran nobility for her entire stay in the capital as well. to her, it probably would've been surprising if Rudy WASN'T open to polygamy, given how many people of even the highest ranks she's ever seen had harems, both men and women alike. i wont try to say that it makes it okay, but Sylphie was very much used to seeing the "dirtier" side of things, INCLUDING a ton of the members of the greater Greyrat family as well. and on that topic, one thing that was changed from the LN was how much Rudeus values openness and communication. i understand why you two don't like how he handled the wife situation, and that makes total sense. but throughout this entire story so far, Rudeus has led his life as openly and honestly as possible, and he has put a lot of effort into running his family the same way. it might have been wrong to include Norn and Aisha in that discussion, but Rudeus views them as important members of the household, and respects their opinions as much as Sylphie and Roxy's. He wanted to let them voice their feelings on the matter as well, because Roxy would be intruding on THEIR home. either way i've known about this for years since i read the LN long before Season 2 aired so i've had time to process and settle on my own opinions, but also im not married so i have wildly different views than both of you do LMAO
One thing that gets mentioned a lot is the holy relic. You need to stop looking at it as underwear/it being sexual, and imagine it was a piece of jewelry or something else. It's the only thing he has left of his master, who helped him get over the trauma of his past life/not being able to go outside. Everything he's done/experienced outside of the house is because of her, he owes her his life.
For those who don't know, Luke is not just Rudy's cousin, he's the cousin who Eris' dad and grandfather offered to organize a coup against on Rudy's name on the night of his 10th birth day. He comes from the Nottos branch head family.
@@schoolsenpai773 Yeah, nah, it was a friendly duel. Plus, I don't think Luke is the actual head or heir of the Nottos family, else he wouldn't be on bodyguard duty. Probably a second or lower son. On top of that, the duel was expressedly to figure out if Rudy was capable to protect Silphy, not to determine the next head of the branch family.
no he isn't Sauros didn't say he would do a coup against Luke he said he would do a coup against Philomon( lukes' father and the old guy that supports princess ariel)
@@houseofaction Saurus made Pilemon sound like degenerate filth but Pilemon seemed normal to me. Also, why wasn't Rudy sent to Pilemon if he's the leader of the Notos line? Did Paul just reject his family name and noble status outright?
9:58:45 The cure to depression isn't sex. It served as a reset button so Rudeus would be more receptive to further talk. Roxy was the first person he even responded to with words over the past five days, and he was raging at her and withdrawing from her. The one person he respects more than anyone else, his own god. Having sex is what got him out of the loop, but what got him on his feet was the conversation he had with Roxy in the morning. The LN had a much longer conversation where he essentially got to tell how he'd failed at his previous life and how he got to be a better person and made a mistake that got him to finally acknowledge his previous parents as well. He couched it as a _completely fictional story_ but I think Roxy's smart enough to have seen through it. Her answers remained intact in the episode: "Then the only thing he can do is cherish the family in front of him. Paul would've wanted the same of you. Please look to the future. Everyone is waiting for you." Even in the meeting about getting back, even Geese noted he doesn't still look OK, but at least he was on his feet and he was combat-effective. Roxy sleeping with him reset him, the talk got him fully out of the loop, but the rest of the healing process can only be completed at home. Aaaaaand the same conclusions were arrived at the moment I pressed play again...
At 9:58:30 I loved you guys mentioning the fact that in the light novel Rudeus was way more depressed then he was made out to be in the anime and about how you two were talking about how they could’ve helped rudy with emotional intimacy. In the light novel the whole group tries to think of ways to help rudeus and one thing that comes up is that elinalise mentions she usually sleeps with men to help their moral however it isn’t seen as the best option, Roxy in wanting to help rudy in anyway possible hears this and goes through with it as she mentioned she “took advantage of him”. And it’s also good to take into account how there’s not really any psychological advancement or studies in this world so the groups thought process was “we don’t know how to help, we’ve seen sex work in the past so maybe it’s the solution”
LOL! At the end of the last episode, Wes is talking about how this is a wonderful ending, but it leaves him apprehensive about the future. Completely forgetting that this entire season for every single episode he has been apprehensive about what might happen in the next episode! (Basically saying "This person is going die!" "This other person is going die!" "Slyphie is going to die!" "There's going to be a miscarriage!" "The whole party is going to die!") And Steph correctly mentions that "well, this is Mushoku Tensei..."! 🤣🤣🤣
I do like your reactions, but how you’ve treated ED so far is something I’m not fond of. I understand the instinct to laugh and find it ridiculous, but it is a real thing that can seriously impact a young mans life. I imagine people who go through it already feel almost humiliated by it, and by brushing it off I feel like your not helping the stigma of men’s health here. But that’s just my opinion on the matter, I’m not a doctor or anything 🤷♂️
Hey so, in the MT world a person can just be born with green hair randomly. Their ancestry doesn't matter, it's actually something to do with Laplace himself.
@@danthespaceman9747yes really, you could have just said "the reason why is spoilers" and not mention Laplace. Y'all really need to stop spoiling shit.
Rudy is truly the best written character ever. You watch him grow, and you feel he's so real, his development has these stages. Mushoku Tensei is magical.
@hajamariole3586 Well, I mean, yeah. His suicide attempt was really heartbreaking, but you gotta admit, it was so overdramatic and out of left field, that I could definitely understand laughing at it
@@rosariograsso1659 Dude has trauma and almost ended himself, and you're laughing? His trauma caused the ED, not the other way around. So you're laughing at his symptoms.
@BigFry9591 It's more like when you laugh because you are caught off guard, as opposed to that it's actually funny. It's like "what is this situation, and how did it get to this point" If you want to go the dark humor route, dark humor is the way it is BECAUSE of how unsettling it is
Not gonna lie, it is disappointing to see you two outright making a mockery of Rudy dealing with his ED. You didn't even put into consideration all of the problems and feelings of abandonment he experienced, and the recent incident of being left alone by Eris, who he had considered his first bond of love in this second chance at life, would naturally hit him hard. All of the things on his plate like trying to find his mother in a new area with no one else to open up to just contribute to compound his trauma further, and it's honestly just a sick feeling being in that kind of mentality. His inner wounds are still there, he's just going through the motions in his daily life, he doesn't even care if he (and the party) would die to some grizzly bears. No wonder the guy was too down and depressed to even go so far as to attempt to off himself after the fumble with Sara, who isn't entirely blameless either with her prideful personality making her walk out on him after he couldn't perform, just adding further onto his insecurity and trauma. Change doesn't just happen in the flick of a button, though life would be much easier if that were the case. That was the point of the first arc, showing Rudy take one step forward, two steps back, and then another step forward. ED and by extension the mental and psychological problems of men aren't a laughing matter at all and should never be made light of. Just because it's not something that's always talked about doesn't mean it can't happen even in young lads like Rudy. It very much needs to be handled and addressed with care just like every other mental health problem out there. At the very least, I wouldn't laugh if I saw someone I know try to off himself because of that.
Buddy different people react differently to media, I don't think you can discredit their ability to empathize or resonate with that specific theme of the show when they clearly do with other themes. Plus, you can't say it's not funny and ironic for a character like Rudeus to have that problem. Yes... the "psychological troubles of a man" CAN BE a laughing matter if portrayed correctly... just like in the mushoku tensei anime.
@@zev_nx I'm just completely mindblown how anyone could find rudeus' psychological illness funny, especially considering how it was portrayed. Mental age aside, rudy was barely a teenager (13-14) at that point in the story and had just been abandoned by the last person he'd grew to love in this world. Paul, Lilia, his sisters, his mother, roxy, all of Eris' family, ghistlane, ruijerd and even sylphy had been separated from him. And while he did force himself to use his mother as motivation to keep going, it was obvious mentally he was done and only tried to distract himself from the pain as seen with Soldat. As for Sara, her reaction was downright immature and it's obvious she loved rudy which made it worse when she heard him (drunk btw) talking bad about her, ironically, after she also talked bad about him when he couldn't get it up, just saying. With all due respect, it doesn't sound like you're quite empathetic yourself as this is a very real issue among men in REAL LIFE and I doubt you'd have the guts to laugh at someone you love with this same issue. I won't complain about their reaction since I agree perspectives vary but I wish you'd at least change your mindset about the "psychological troubles of a man" somehow being funny. From my perspective at least, the show did at excellent job portraying just how brutal of an effect ED can have on a man's mindset, especially a teenager with hormones and makes his bond with sylphy that much more meaningful.
@@orangepotato2451 you're right I wouldn't laugh at someone I care about, I totally would at a scummy 50 year old though. And, well... either you're comedic read is totally off or mine is, because the first people who found it funny were in my perspective the director, the storyboard team, and the author with the dialogues and jokes. I mean is it that un-empathetic to laugh when the show is actively trying to make you laugh.
@@zev_nxI mean, this isn’t really my conversation, and I’m not gonna tell you how to feel, but I do think you’re looking at this thing entirely wrong. I understand finding some parts funny because it’s ridiculous to think about watching an anime character suffer from ED of all things, however, the overall vibe isn’t supposed to be comedic. The entire point is to show how much trauma Rudy has after Eris left him. If the author was going for the fully comedic route then he wouldn’t have made Rudy try to off himself the second he lost everything again
@@FlexingToday I get it pal, but I reserve the "trauma vibe" for the light novel, my personal analysis in retrospective, and debates such as this one, not my first reaction to the anime... after all, that's the point isn't it? First impressions are outside of our control, and we shouldn't criticize how people react to Mushoku Tensei for the first time based how they are "Supposed to react" when we know much more about the story and have had time to analyze it in retrospective.
The Chinese characters written on the screen behind you are 一樹寒梅白玉條,迥臨村路傍溪橋。 不知近水花先發,疑是經冬雪未銷。 There is a plum blossom tree that blooms early in the cold, its branches pure white like jade. It stands far from the bustling village roads, near the stream and bridge. People don't realize that the plum blossoms bloom early because of the proximity to the stream; they mistakenly think it's snow that hasn't melted through the winter.
They seemed to forget all through season 1 when Rudy was growing up, he was surrounded by slaves: All the beastfolk women maids/chefs/servers/etc that Eris' family owned. It was outside his sphere of concern, as a child and as a sheltered reincarnation who probably wasn't thinking about it, but he made the connection when saving the Doldia tribe from slavers that Cleaner said he "sold them off to some peculiar tastes in the nobility" that the Greyrat family are prolific customers of beastgirl slaves. When he re-met up with Paul, they also went into a brief discourse about many of the teleportation victims being "tricked into slavery". Syphie more or less is an "ideal" case of this exact thing: The Princess enslaved her, "change your look and name and serve me, or be executed for trespass", but Sylphie is both 1) so powerful, and 2) so friendly, that it was both tough and dangerous to keep her in that situation, and it shifted to a more employment-like one (though I've never seen her spend money that wasn't directly gifted to her from the Princess, so her wages might still be food and board, a Serf if not a Slave). Being a slave herself, but treated VERY well for one, Sylphie probably has a warped view of it. Rudy has less of an excuse, but he was raised around somewhat well-treated slaves for several years, has a "local" vouching for the practice, and the market seems more aboveboard than what Cleaner was doing since they note the reason for the indentured servitude in the documentation... But he was still ready to just execute a child while he was in there, so maybe less emotionally distant from it than we assume from what was shown on-screen.
Expecting Rudy to know that he should have spoken with Sylfie alone about Roxy, seems like a big ask. I don't think it's realistic given his life experience from either of his two lives to think he would be very good at navigating personal relationships like that. His social skills are dog crap in a lot of ways. And for good reason, having spent a lot of his formative years in isolation. Plus on a meta level, the way it was written made for a more dramatic scene. This way even Sylfie could be accepting of the situation while there was still some opposition (from Norn, a follower of Millis). And with Norn's opposition coming before Sylfie's acceptance, it properly builds the tension in the scene. If Rudy had gone to Sylfie first, that tension would have already been undercut and weakened by the fact that Sylfie had already accepted Roxy.
the guard that got merced at the beginning was expanded a bit more in the light novel. in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter(probably why they left it out). At most it reinforced princess's ambition in the long term.
People that watch or binge the anime sometimes seem to forget Roxy and Rudeus didn't see each other for over 11 years. But when you read the light novel, you really feel the time, not only because there's more events and details of everything, but because it takes about 10 books to get there (and I say that as someone that binged the books, now imagine people who had to wait for each volume to be published...).
You really went too far with the ED stuff. Young men DO go through that stuff, and a lot of it is psychological. You completely ignore Rudy's problems and torment that he's going through, but have sympathy and understanding for Sara. That arc is about Rudeus overcoming his trauma of being left alone in life. It's happened twice to him now, where everyone in his life left him. That's even mentioned in the show by Rudeus. That he just ended up alone once more. And he used his goal for finding his mom as the catalyst for him moving forward. But that doesn't mean that his wounds aren't still there. Ok, no, I wrote this before getting to the end of watching the reaction to that episode. No... YOU FEEL WORSE FOR SARA THAN RUDY?! The guy literally going through a breakdown and that has severe mental trauma has it better than the girl that broke up with a guy because he couldn't get it up?! Not to mention that that guy IS THE GUY WITH TRAUMA! This is crossing the line.
This is crossing the line 😡 you don't know everything about ED 😡 you gave the wrong opinion on my fictional series 😡 i demand an apology for your grotesque statements 😡
@@albrev Just replace "wrong opinion" with "factually incorrect statements", and you got it right. Unless the "wrong opinion" is feeling worse for Sara than Rudy. In which case that is a wrong opinion.
@@BigFry9591 i mean I disagree with their Sara take as well, but their ED comments were so harmless. At worst they are just ignorant about the specifics of ED, anything more than that and you're just being dramatic.
@@albrev I wouldn't call making fun of mental trauma that results in physical ailments as "harmless". Even if we are talking about a fictional character, it is a real thing that happens. And people can and do empathize with characters in stories, whether they be fictional or not. Them downplaying it (and saying that it doesn't happen) is them not only showing that they lack empathy for this, but that they also say that it doesn't happen, based on them "not knowing anyone like that". "I've never heard of anybody, any dude, being like this. Did you know anybody in college or high school who had a similar problem? Name one." "whiskey" "just sleep it off" "punch him, he deserves to be punched" (when Sara overhears drunk Rudy). "did he just try to kill himself?" (they laugh) "I can't, I don't believe that this would happen to a 16 year old... I don't believe it. When you were 16 and you had girls throwing themselves at... say 18, jump ahead a few years... like, were you ever not turned on? If a girl was naked in front of you? No." She keeps going on about it being because he's drunk. They keep saying this with nothing to go off of. You would think that Wes would say something, but he never does. Even if one doesn't understand why something is the way that it is, there's always empathy. But there was no empathy here (or very very little at the start). The entire time was downplaying or saying that it doesn't happen and laughing at him. So that's why I'm kinda mad here. There wasn't even an attempt to understand or try to learn, or even just to go with it and feel bad.
@@BigFry9591 I think you are negatively loading what they said quite a bit because you are convinced they have a certain opinion about people with ED. What I'm saying is that most of what they said was in a joking manner, especially with regard to Steph telling him to sleep it off or whatever else she said to treat it. I do think they are probably ignorant regarding certain specifics of ED, though I think that is the extent of it. Nothing about what they said had any malicious vibes to it, you are definitely reading into too much. I understand that the incredulity with which Steph expressed her disbelief at him having ED at his age could come off as obnoxious, especially if she is wrong sbout it, but that doesn't mean her intention was to ridicule or shame. It was careless ignorance at most, attributing malice is overreacting. Why else would they chastise the princess for laughing at Rudeus if they didn't find that behavior to be wrong?
One of the things I love about reaction channels is that they provide me with fresh perspectives about stuff I love, and this channel is no exception. Thanks for the 10 long hours of reaction and analysis 😤🙏
In the light novel you get Rudeus is afraid Roxy is going to leave as soon as the "task at hand is done" (like how she left right away after Rudeus' graduation when he was little). Elinalise spent years traveling with Roxy, so she knew that too. That's why they asked Roxy first. Anyway, it's hard to explain more without spoiling it for those people who check the comments before watching the whole video, haha...
6:37:09 It's funny how almost no one who has reacted to this part of the episode has understood why Aisha gets angry at Rudeus for letting Norn do whatever she wants The difference is that Aisha had to pass the university exam first in order to do what she wanted, while Norn got what she wanted even after failing.
This is my favorite anime and one of my favorite shows of all time! There is some bad stuff in the show don’t get me wrong especially/ mostly in season one, but despite all those scenes, I still think the show is an absolute masterpiece! Can’t wait for season 3!
I really enjoy watching you two talk through the parts of this show that you're frustrated with. It's really cool how you're able to put aside your gut reactions and reconsider everything in the context of the world. It's definitely a testament to Mushoku Tensei's writing for it to stand up to such critiques, but even then just the ability to step aside and talk it through is awesome. Even on the points where I don't fully agree, I love how yall put your thoughts out there. Gives me a lot to think about.
Rudy is Japanese, you both are very good at understanding the culture of the people of the world Rudy is in for their lack of technology, social progress. in Japanese culture, sitting down with the whole family to discuss family business is very culturally significant for Rudy. Getting a new Car, Moving, Getting Employment, getting accepted into Colledge, announcing a relationship, Marriage, announcing a Pregnancy, Divorce, family get togethers ect... You would do this with the whole family. Spent two years in Japan, Rudy is being inconsiderate to our sensibilities, but to his own culture its very in character. His manner of speech being 'prim and proper' is just how formal speech in Japan worked, its why people like him since he acts like everyone is of the same social class, when that's not the case at all in the world that he lives in. Also for Season 3, No spoilers. I'm scared to see what they change. I want to see the darkest moment of the series animated, but I know dedicating a whole season too it, might be too much.
7:10:42 has another meaning and the meaning is that he know for sure that he will stay in the new world and will not go back like nanahoshi if she will manage to make a teleporter.
theory on why nanahoshi dropped in 10 years after rudy: we see that there’s a time lag when someone teleports a distance. when elinalise teleports back it’s maybe a few minutes. image the time lag of traversing the distance of worlds… could be around 10 years.
Rudeus' first daughter name is taken from the first syllable of both him and Sylphie, so it should be RuSy. Novel version is Lucy, and anime version is Lucie. So take your pick.
what i like about mushoku is that rudeus funcions as a real person throughout the series, just as you may often think about a fatal mistake you made long ago and you keep punishing yourself for it, it is the same with him as you are watching his entire life and so i get mad at him the same way i get mad about myself, for mistakes, for thoughts or behaviours
The NBA analogy at the 30:55 minute mark is so interesting to think about. The NBA started with 5 positions with the PG, SG, SF, PF, C and how the common adventure group has a Tank, healer, mage, swordsman. So as the NBA progressed the PG and the Center has been very similar in development but the SF SG and PF play almost the same. The PF used to be a second Center and the SG used to only shoot the ball and play some defense but now the SG, SF and PF have become “Wings” and it’s cool to think that maybe the Mage and healer would be better positioned to be the same person and to have two of them similar to the SF and PF becoming the same. Just a little thought about adventure groups being similar to the NBA.
Suffered from some light ED when I was 25. It’s just something that happens. It wasn’t as severe as Rudeus, but in order for me to get up, I had to do a lot of foreplay and actually like the girl. It was all mental.

Rudeus was 12 when he got left by Eris it took 3 years to come back from the demon continent and before he tutored Eris for years , so he didn't see Sylphie since they were like 7 Wes is right
2:58:10 "You mean they got in trouble?" They hassled Ariel during her first year there. Sylphie took exception to this, so they engineered a situation where Fitz beat the duo and their 20 beastfolk lackeys senseless "in self-defence." The 20 lackeys got expelled, but the duo are princesses, so they were let off with the humiliation of their defeat (and Fitz splashing them with water balls) and an official warning. Fitz couldn't counter Pursena's Vocal Magic like Rudeus did, so Sylphie ruptured her own ear drums to remain combat-effective. And yeah, most Beastfolk can do that howl Gyes used on Rudeus when he saved the Sacred Beast.
Idk if anyone has said it yet, but to answer your question about why Rudeus nickname is Quagmire; it's because that mudpit spell he usually uses to support other parties. So they basically started calling him after his main support spell lol

Yo I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this but before elinalise told Rudues about Roxy’s feelings Paul said he loved his to swords for different reasons and you’ll understand one day to rudues which I think he was trying to hint to rudues about Roxy and it’s okay to have two wives.
33:11 surname is used to show their status (for the human) basically Commoner= Sara, Suzanne, Sylphiette Noble= Rudeus Greyrat(1 surname cus Paul throw away his family name the Notos Greyrat), Cliff Grimoire, Zanoba Shirone High Noble= Ariel Anemoi Asura, Eris Boreas Greyrat
Paul death was devastating , and was even worse after we seen that Zenith mind is blank , Rudy kept himself quite distanced from Zenith and Paul , but it's not like he didn't like then , and he had respect, he just didn't feel real love or saw them has parents , but in heart , he love them he just only realised it when they were gone , like i've said in season 1 Rudeus isn't really a grown man , despite his living experiences memories from before , he was just a damaged 14 yo , that went into self inflicted slumber , limbo , deprived and depraved , 20 years of it , he though himself as the eldest and most wise at time like vs Paul when arguing about hitting the other kid , but he was very much immature , and he carried a very weak mentality . he wasn't Paul son , or so he felt , but then that sentence , "but Paul was my Father" like FCK it hits you lik a train , on father's day on top of it :') , and yeah , he felt really guilty and scum like he was with his previous parent , forgetting his first childhood almost and only focused on his limbo , where they weren't there at all ater giving up ( Japanese ppl tend to be more resign-full ? ) his brother too . but yeah at the price of hardship and loss , he finally really grew . Now Roxy , he just adores her , putting her unironically into a goddess stand , the first person to have brought him outside , showed him this knew world and gave him strength , he quite literally groom himself into her , and that led to what happened ! witch in the end is good (Sylphie kinda got some kind of a sister wife that will have a similar lifespan , + in this world and at such a setting it's a good thing how will it evole ? ) but cheating is still bad and that the bitter thing in it , Sylphie forgave and took her decision . little side note , in the LN , Rudeus is in a depressed stravating state , he is basically dying and the group wanted to get him some pussy to give him back some life , enough to eat and have the will to make a step toward home , Elinalise was proposed but she couldn't due to her relation with Cliff and Sylphie it would be too difficult to face then , then a brothel was though about and then Roxy choose to do it with Elinalise "blessing" .

You really think they meant it in a disparaging/mocking way? Not out of ignorance?
@albrev of course it was out of ignorance. Doesn't make it any less rough when you've gone through something like that. Especially when it's talking about it like that that makes it so hard to even open up about those conversations. They aren't evil, nor to I think they ever meant to be hurtful.

She's only a child, so she probably just got emotional.
this was throughly written in light novel.

10:09:51 Rudeus actually thinks about that in the light novel and tells Lucy in Japanese and English "You found out, right? You're in another world" lol. It's also cute how he thinks of how he wouldn't care if Lucy was reincarnated and would love her as a dad like Paul did.
I was laughing my ass off on that scene 😂😂
They glossed over how they deal with who sleeps with Rudeus and when.
The wives have their own rooms, they take turns sleeping with Rudeus. Sylphiette and Roxy discuss this between themselves.
I think this will be addressed on season 3😅
Except when Rudy is a very very good boy and they both join in together ;)
🤮
Roxy refrained from sleeping with him until Lucie was born, as her own form of penance. And Sylphie could only sleep beside Rudeus while she was still pregnant.
And then of course there's all the hubbub of having a newborn. But after getting chased out of the room by Lilia so they'd take care of Lucie and Sylphie after the birth, Rudeus and Roxy did have a conversation about what was to come (namely, each other).
We'll see if S3E1 starts like vol 13 did.
Thwy also did 3some
10:08:51 FYI, yes, Sylphie and Roxy did discuss the sleep schedule.
Looking forward to season 3!
i dont think they discuss it in the current volume the anime made it to. will probably get be apart of the first ep of s3
Just because you've never met or heard of anyone getting ED over psychological issues doesn't make Rudeus' ED any less real.
Don't think they ever said that it wasn't real or that it couldn't happen because of psychological issues...

He is such a god damn scum bag lol
1:31:17 Rip to all my fellow dudes who actually struggled with this. It really sucks, and yes it can happen even when your a teenager. You probably don't hear about it as much because men are probably ashamed to talk about it and have to face the stigmas associated with it.
Probably more prevalent these days with kids on anti-depressants.
Slavery is literally an institute, sanctioned by governments everywhere, without having influence over actual royalty and other rulers, the most Rudy can influence is at the interpersonal level. No point rebelling against the practice of slavery in his current position.
I think it was more that there was a lack of internal monologue
not really the issue. it's more that he seems to be completely unbothered by it.
and while he didn't really dwell on it too much in the books either, Season 2 is doing generally a very poor job showing Rudeus' inner thoughts.

I different perspective to bring on Rudeus's 50 years of age when judging him by his accumulated life experience is:
- he experienced life from the age of 0-15 normally.
- After the school incident, he shut himself away from the would for 20 years, where the only things he experiences are his own gross perversions, and nothing regarding actually being an adult (that's his fault, but that doesn't change the results)
- after dying and being reincarnated, he then experienced the first 15 years of his life... again.
So, summing up, despite his actual age, the only life experience he has involves being a kid (twice), and being a pervert. So, I don't really see the fairness in judging his actions based on his full age. His perverted moments are still fair game though lol.
he isnt 50 your age is not based on your soul but your dna and your brain
@@houseofaction yeah, I know, that's why I used phrases like "accumulated life experience".

He just never had a Master to teach him the secret techniques of the schools.

Yep, they are overly harsh on rudeous.
“What 16 year old goes thru ED?”
So many incorrect things about that statement.
why did they laugh abt the ed situation in such serious moments? like, the situation and framing on some moments was kinda serious yet they laughed
Yeah I mean their entire response to that episode was very 'men's mental health is not taken seriously' coded. Watching a scene where someone pretty clearly tries to off themselves and taking away "I feel worse for her" is... a choice.
Too many people think of ED as a joke when it can be completely devastating, especially to a younger person.
Yeah it’s really messed up
9:37:00
By the way, in the novels, Rudy's condition was far worse
At that point, he was locked up for an entire month.
And as you could see, he refused help very agressively as well
The party thought Rudy could get through it, because they believed he is strong as they've never seen him dealing with trauma.
@@JosephCorilla I don't care

Yeah I think Wes just lacks empathy as a human being
@@TheRoleplayer40k alright let’s chill out lol definitely not saying that 💀
5:10 we learn quite late (I don't think it's a spoiler) that the teleportation circle and magic is not instantaneously, but the person being teleported does seem to be locked in time (and basically the longer the distance you travel, the more time it takes to reappear, so basically you freeze and travel trough some kind of space where time stops for you and then reappear, even though there is a delay, normally it is a lot more faster then normal travel, if the news reached the ears of the princes before Sylphy, it must mean she felt from the hell of a height distance, maybe she was even unconscious while falling at an altitude where there is no breathable air, kinda crazy)
I just take It that Sylphy unconcious for a day and the news of a DISSAPPEARANCE OF A WHOLE REGION reach the princess.
Don't we learn it this season with Elinalise taking the teleportation circle back to check and Rudy waiting for her longer than it felt for her?
People using teleportation travel through the Void world (the inside of the six sided world). I guess you could see it as going through a worm hole.
as soon as Season 2 finished airing, i got to re-reading the entire Light Novel start to finish.
there are a lot of changes they made to make the anime flow better, but overall i believe they were pretty minor or didn't change the storyline too drastically. of course the LN has a lot more attention to little details like Rudy's constant inner monologue, some chapters from the POV's of Roxy and Sylphie, and more, but i think this season was handled spectacularly.
i cannot WAIT for Season 3 and the ridiculous stuff that will happen then.
also i love how the season opens up with Princess Ariel talking about nipples, this show is hilarious. i do also LOVE that the nerdiest gangly guy in the show ends up being one of Rudy's closest friends, Zanoba is a real one
as for Sylphie and Roxy, you have to remember that Sylphie was next to Luke Notos Greyrat(a well known womanizer) and Princess Ariel Anemoi Asura(possibly the second horniest woman in the story) for YEARS. and not only that, but she was witness to the workings of the Asuran nobility for her entire stay in the capital as well. to her, it probably would've been surprising if Rudy WASN'T open to polygamy, given how many people of even the highest ranks she's ever seen had harems, both men and women alike.
i wont try to say that it makes it okay, but Sylphie was very much used to seeing the "dirtier" side of things, INCLUDING a ton of the members of the greater Greyrat family as well.
and on that topic, one thing that was changed from the LN was how much Rudeus values openness and communication. i understand why you two don't like how he handled the wife situation, and that makes total sense. but throughout this entire story so far, Rudeus has led his life as openly and honestly as possible, and he has put a lot of effort into running his family the same way. it might have been wrong to include Norn and Aisha in that discussion, but Rudeus views them as important members of the household, and respects their opinions as much as Sylphie and Roxy's.
My favorite anime and favorite reactors.
Thank you I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did.

In the light novel it's not nunhi . She basically just says Fkyou. But it's changed to nunhi in anime.
For those who don't know, Luke is not just Rudy's cousin, he's the cousin who Eris' dad and grandfather offered to organize a coup against on Rudy's name on the night of his 10th birth day. He comes from the Nottos branch head family.
Considering the duel, Rudy would have one the coup
@@schoolsenpai773it wouldn’t have been settled with a duel but with armies
@@schoolsenpai773 Yeah, nah, it was a friendly duel. Plus, I don't think Luke is the actual head or heir of the Nottos family, else he wouldn't be on bodyguard duty. Probably a second or lower son. Fun fact mushokku tensei is the prequel to the main story, the main story follows one of rudeuses kids
Everyone is waiting for you."
Even in the meeting about getting back, even Geese noted he doesn't still look OK, but at least he was on his feet and he was combat-effective.

Rudeus didn't fix the house himself, he hired a Dwarf contractor to restore it, haha...
ED is actually quite common in young males due to stress and anxiety to things Rudeus has in excess after his past life and what happened with Eris
Sword stuff Rudy said to Norn is the word for word thing Paul said to him as a kid when he gave Rudy his first sword
The Chinese characters written on the screen behind you are
一樹寒梅白玉條,迥臨村路傍溪橋。 不知近水花先發,疑是經冬雪未銷。
There is a plum blossom tree that blooms early in the cold, its branches pure white like jade.
Wow great, I thought this was gonna stay forever as a Patreon exclusive but I'm glad it's here now!
the guard that got merced at the beginning was expanded a bit more in the light novel. in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter(probably why they left it out). At most it reinforced princess's ambition in the long term.
Yessss, finally. I was waiting for this. ;D
Rudeus' ED symbolizes his trauma of believing he was rejected by eris and not being able to trust others.
Yes, thanks for bringing "Mushoku Tensei season 2" I was looking forward to it
People that watch or binge the anime sometimes seem to forget Roxy and Rudeus didn't see each other for over 11 years. But when you read the light novel, you really feel the time, not only because there's more events and details of everything, but because it takes about 10 books to get there (and I say that as someone that binged the books, now imagine people who had to wait for each volume to be published...).
YESS IVE BEEN WAITINGGGGG
Name one."
"whiskey"
"just sleep it off"
"punch him, he deserves to be punched" (when Sara overhears drunk Rudy).
"did he just try to kill himself?" (they laugh)
"I can't, I don't believe that this would happen to a 16 year old... I don't believe it. When you were 16 and you had girls throwing themselves at... say 18, jump ahead a few years... like, were you ever not turned on? If a girl was naked in front of you? No."
She keeps going on about it being because he's drunk.
Yess! They finally dropped it! I watched all of the season 1 7 hour supercut and was just wondering about the 2nd season!
was waiting for this!
I love how paranoid they get because of how fluff this season got. They are like anticipating a jumpscare anytime. 😂😂

It's funny how almost no one who has reacted to this part of the episode has understood why Aisha gets angry at Rudeus for letting Norn do whatever she wants
The difference is that Aisha had to pass the university exam first in order to do what she wanted, while Norn got what she wanted even after failing.
Most people don't use their brains. It's sad, but true.
Yes, I been waiting months for this!
I love how they both didn't understand that zenobo isn,t the one who harassed Roxy but his little brother.... which he beat the shit out of.
55:21
Have you forgotten that, in his previous life, he was a shut in for almost 20 years?
I really didn't expect them to make fun of rudy's condition
6:37:52 Aisha is upset because she feels like she had to jump through hoops in order to get what she wanted, while Norn just had to ask for it.
Man, I've been waiting for this!
I was really waiting for this reaction especially part 2, it really did no disappoint!
Paul's death was really depressing and shocking even though I'd knew it was coming
Just a little thought about adventure groups being similar to the NBA.
damn posted 30 secs ago? Now I know what I'm gonna do for the rest of the day XD
Took me 2 day's to finish this video.
It was great love your reactions to this amazing story 🤩👌🏽
Suffered from some light ED when I was 25. It’s just something that happens.
It wasn’t as severe as Rudeus, but in order for me to get up, I had to do a lot of foreplay and actually like the girl. It was all mental.
Thanks for the reactions
Btw 7:59:12 that was a Behemoth, a Colosal sized monster that have lengths ranging between 100 to 1000 meters that ranked S due to their colosal size and thick layer of their skins, but it's docile unless they got attacked, also the huge bone in Rapan 8:04:29 is Behemoth Beast's bones
I think the Behemoth they ran into was a young one or the prespective is just fucked up
I have just met you guys with your previous mushoku video and it was nice to not have to wait for the second season reaction 😂 I loved re watching my favorite anime with you guys and loved how open minded you two were towards all the "unsettling" themes of this show. Re zero was my favorite anime before I watched mushoku so I can't wait to see your reactions for that one too!
they just started watching Re zero on patreon
Rudeus was 12 when he got left by Eris it took 3 years to come back from the demon continent and before he tutored Eris for years , so he didn't see Sylphie since they were like 7 Wes is right
Great reaction! I had a good time binging both seasons with you. I'm happy you kept an open mind to most stuff, and enjoyed the story for what it is!
OMG NO WAYYYY, i literally posted a comment a xouplw of days ago saying i can't wait for their reaction to season 2 and my prayers have been answered 😭🙏🏻
SAMEEEE
Yo I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this but before elinalise told Rudues about Roxy’s feelings Paul said he loved his to swords for different reasons and you’ll understand one day to rudues which I think he was trying to hint to rudues about Roxy and it’s okay to have two wives.
Rudy isn't mistreating Sylphie , Norn is preventing anyone from talking :')
33:11 surname is used to show their status (for the human) basically
Commoner= Sara, Suzanne, Sylphiette
Noble= Rudeus Greyrat(1 surname cus Paul throw away his family name the Notos Greyrat), Cliff Grimoire, Zanoba Shirone
High Noble= Ariel Anemoi Asura, Eris Boreas Greyrat
I love that Mushoku Tensei could perfectly have another 5 parts of 10 to 12 episodes. We didn't even reach half of the story yet.
I somehow tricked myself into thinking i already watched this video, glad to find out i habe 10 hours worth of content, love the supercuts hehe
