Glad you enjoyed the stormlight archive, my personal favorite from that series so far (haven't gotten to book 5 yet) is The Way of Kings. I recommend that you check out the short story Dawnshard that takes place in the same world. Also if you're open to suggestions based off your two favorite books this year I really recommend you read John Gwynn's Blood Sworn trilogy the final book came out this year and it is my favorite read of the year :)
Ranking favorite books is truly impossible!! Little Women ❤️ I really want to continue The Winternight Trilogy this year, I read the first book a couple years ago and really liked it! Parable of the Sower was a great one, if not a bit depressing (especially the second book)… Haha yes, I saw the empty space on your shelf so I had a feeling what your top pick would be 😉 That book made it to my top 3, absolutely loved it and the whole series in general!! That chasm scene is one that I’ll never forget 😍 Some other favorites for me were Six of Crows, Beartown, Piranesi, The Things We Cannot Say, Seven Days in June, Tress of the Emerald Sea, and Seven Days in June!
Thanks for the Little Women recommendation. I'll check it out. As for my favorite of the year, it's The Devil's Alternative by Frederick Forsyth. It had me screaming and laughing at it's thriller plot and twists. It's the first Forsyth book I've read, having picked it up blind from a little free library. I've since bought over a dozen Forsyth novels. Charlie Kaufman's Antkind is also up there. Absolutely hilarious.
Have fun with BS as long as you can! These are my top 15 in order of reading: Kaikessa lihassa on tahto by Jenny Kangasvuo The Spear Cuts through Water by Simon Jimenez Arrival by Ted Chiang Lahtarit by Anneli Kanto L’étranger by Albert Camus Die Enkelin by Bernhard Schlink Tiranan sydän by Pajtim Statovci De fattiga i Łódź by Steve Sem-Sandberg The Book that Wouldn’t Burn by Mark Lawrence Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card Sydänmeri by Anni Kuu Nuppunen Röda rummet by August Strindberg Vadelmavenepakolainen by Miika Nousiainen The City & The City by China Miéville Jade City by Fonda Lee

The only one of your favorites I've read is Piranesi! I've had Six of Crows on my TBR FOREVER. Lol. I really need to get to it.
