This is very simple I love the way u explain things and the speed u go.. Others can stop the video and restart if they don't understand.. love love this thank you!
so after i did the 3rd round and want to increase the size i do chain 3 then i do 2 single double crochet and then 1 twice double crochet but after i did 1 round and it is still too small i shpuld do 1 more round which is chain 3 - 3 single double crochet - 1 twice double crochet?
@@KatiaCreates I've made several now and they ARE easy and look great. Mine are not just for water bottles, I'm using the pattern to make covers for planters, etc. It's a VERY useful and easy design. Again, THANKS!
Thank you so much!! 😊 You can use a larger hook size -5mm or make the base larger by working an extra round. I showed you how to stop working on the base with 36 dcs. You can add one extra round by working: 1 dc, 1 dc and into the following st. Work 2 dcs. Repeat around. Work 1 dc into the next 2 sts and 2 dcs into the following st. At the end, you will have 42 dcs. Then you can continue working on the hight same way. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️
Your tuitorial was so very clear every steps its sp easy to follow your instruction your such a great teacher im done to do this your pattern amd im so proud of my work thank u for aharing your pattern god bless more from philippines🎉🎉
This is a great tutorial and I love a written pattern, so I hope I wrote it well. Crochet Bottle Holder Make a Magic Ring Round 1: Ch3 (counts as a dc) 11dc into the ring, close the ring, sl st into 3rd ch (12 sts) Round 2: Ch3, dc into same st, 2dc into each st, sl st in 3rd ch (24 sts) Round 3: Ch3, *2dc into next st, 1 dc into next st; repeat from *, sl st into back loop only (36 sts) Round 4: Ch4, *sk 1 st, dc into BLO, ch1, repeat from *, sl st into both loops (18 ch1 spaces) Round 5: Ch4, dc into top of dc from previous round INTO BOTH LOOPS FROM NOW ON, *ch1, dc into top of dc, repeat from *, sl st into 3rd ch (18 ch1 spaces) Rounds 6-17: repeat round 5 (I made only 12 rounds using worsted weight acrylic yarn and size H hook for a 20 ounce bottle up to the larger Stanley type bottles) Last round: Ch1, sc into same st, *sc into the ch1 space, sc into next st, repeat from *, sl st into 1st sc (36 scs) Strap: Row 1: Ch1, sc into same st, sc into next 2 st, turn (3 sts) Row 2: Do not chain at the beginning of the strap rows. 3sc into the 3scs from previous row (3scs) Make the strap as long as you like Rows 3-?: Repeat row 2 Attach the strap: Count over to the 16th st on the top round, attach the strap with 3 scs in the next 3 sts going into all 4 loops, ch1, cut the yarn. Weave in ends.
Don’t forget to increase each round for the base only. Don’t worry if it’s still looking like a bowl. Once you put the bottle in, it should straighten out. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️
Instead of 18 stitches around, can we skip 3 stitches and crochet into the 4th stitch for 9 stitches around? I want the holes bigger. Thank you. I concur with the other comments. This is so simple to follow and cute, too.
@@KatiaCreates that's fine I don't do well with single crochet in the round and I love your work your easy to understand and follow thats why I ask thank you so much
You can. Check the base on the bottle to make sure it fits and if you need to make adjustments, do it then before moving on to the hight. You can then adjust the size of the hight if needed. I hope this helps🤗❤️❤️
You can start with a primary color and when you want to switch to a secondary color, don’t cut the primary color. Alternated the two colors at the beginning of the rounds where you added a stitch marker. I hope this helps 😊💕💕
😂 ohhhh sorry about that! I thought you were referring to the thumbnail photo. It’s just poster boards I use. I buy them at the dollar tree ( 2 for 1.25$) super cheap and they work. 💕💕
Sorry about that. You can slow down the video by clicking the setting button located on the right top of the video and then click the playback speed and choose the slower speed. I hope this helps.
Haha Mr. Jasper is seeing what’s going on 😂 Also I love this crochet project! Very neat ❤

Why does my base always curve into a frigging bowl 😢?
Don’t forget to increase each round for the base only. Don’t worry if it’s still looking like a bowl. Once you put the bottle in, it should straighten out. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️
@@KatiaCreatesOh thanks!

@@KatiaCreates that's fine I don't do well with single crochet in the round and I love your work your easy to understand and follow thats why I ask thank you so much

Can I do this with 4 ply yarn?
You can. Check the base on the bottle to make sure it fits and if you need to make adjustments, do it then before moving on to the hight. You can then adjust the size of the hight if needed. I hope this helps🤗❤️❤️
What if I want to do two colours? How should I do it?
You can start with a primary color and when you want to switch to a secondary color, don’t cut the primary color. Alternated the two colors at the beginning of the rounds where you added a stitch marker. I hope this helps 😊💕💕
Hello can I ask, what is that thing called you used as your background? Hope I can get an answer☺️ Thank You!
Hi! I took this photo in my backyard. I’m not sure what the name of the plant is. I hope this helps 🤗🩷🩷
@@KatiaCreates hello hehe I mean that thing on your video that white paper or vinyl? I don't know 😅

@@KatiaCreates thank you so much for the response ☺️ btw I made this tumbler holder, thanks for the pattern 😙
You are so welcome! 🤗👍🩷🩷
I love the yarn you use, where did you buy it?
I bought it at Michaels 💕💕
Thanks So much
You are very welcome 🤗💕
It was kind of hard. I dont know how to double crochet.
I’m so sorry to hear that! You can try to slow down the video to give yourself some time to work on the double crochets. 🤗❤️
iknow what to do now.. sorta i think but after the 5th round it goes inward instead of just going up.. im stressed😭
Don’t worry!!😉 it will do that. When you add the bottle inside, it will keep its shape. It also depends on the yarn too. I hope this helps 💕💕
Do u have a written pattern?
Unfortunately, I don’t have it at this time ❤️
Doesn't Acrylic stretch?
Yes it does but you can use cotton yarn instead! 💕💕
what was the size of the tumbler??(in terms of oz)
I think about 19 oz (500ml) 🤗
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
How much would you charge a person if they wanted you to make one for them?
Do you mean if you crochet one to sell to someone else? I’m not sure - it all depends on the yarn you buy and the time it takes you to make one.
Yall I am just like you KJ the same thing also happened to me 😭😭😭
Oh no!! I wonder why? Check to make sure that each round is worked by increasing your stitches. That should help it lay flat. 💕💕
Water bottle holder
Yes
it's abit too fast
Sorry about that! If you are still interested in the tutorial, you can slow down the video in the settings. Thank you for your feedback! ❤️
