The phone vid looking straight up at you guys really showed the steepness. Absolutely insane. Also noticed how loud the tires were hitting the slab on the way down. Soo much speed.
So rad to see how much thought goes into something that appears to be super chaotic. Also really appreciate that you were willing to walk away. Loved this video.
Yeah guys, that was an absolutely amazing vid!👌 Big respect to you Rèmy and Steve, Very impressive riding skills! I love the super tech natural features, Definitely next level! 👍
Respect to the New-School of freeriding. Risk assessment, setup check, discussion, no pressure. As opposed to the OG, 'drink beer' till someone makes the call.
I was in my teens in that NWD freeride era. It ended with two cracked vertebrae for me and I assure you the „drink another beer and you’ll clear it“ was definitely a thing. Also passing out at 6 and being at the starting line of the DH race at 10 was everydays business back then, even the pros did it. There’s a video out there where Peaty and Danny Hart talk about chugging a beer directly before the race, because they needs to counter their hangover.
props for showing all the talk with the tire presure, how to ride it and feel good! Not just the rock music, "fuck it lets go" that many people are pushing out
Remy takes this game to the next level. He's super analytical about every feature he rides and explains them to a depth most other riders are not doing, and intellectually may not be able to. Intense!!
I’m blown away. When I saw that segment a while back I was like that’s kinda intense. Now seeing a more in depth look at that line from the top, middle and bottom. I am blown away, thank you cameraman for trying to show how steep it is. That is one of the gnarliest features I’ve ever seen. Remy, you’re the man. Please do more collaborations. I love seeing you interact with all these amazing riders and how styles clash or complement each other.
just in awe of the riding in this video , the look on steve's face on the first feature when remy just cleans the deepest send ever on that line , so precise
This was the best video i have seen in a long time !! The way you documented the whole process of conquering such utlra narly features was perfect. Thanks for such quality content. Your friend is a madman for building and testing this features (and an amazing bike rider).
As a complete newbie, I really appreciate seeing the process of learning a line. It makes me feel better about getting off my bike to take a look at the trail before hitting it.
At 19:23 I had to pause for a moment to recover from what I’d just seen. This is one of the most gripping mtb videos I’ve seen in a long time. Thanks so much Rémy for showing all the preperation and deliberation that went in to trying those new lines and features!
The lack of protective gear vs the high risks made me sweat buckets, wow, 10/10, so gnarly, steep and technical, this is a whole other level of riding, like, many downhill racers would struggle or won´t even ride this, insane, truly amazing what you can go down in a bike. And I mean I loove the tech and steep stuff but man, you have to be on your a-game or you pretty much dig your own grave there. BRAVO!!!! huge applause to you guys, you are inspiring people:)
WOW!!! That was gnarly af!! Even with the “GoPro effect” it was scary looking! Props to the builder/guinea pig!!! Remy too! Y’all gots them crazy skillz!!!
I was going to say. The first view from above was like "ok. Probably doable but I guess I wouldn't do it because....". And then the view from below and I thought " holy fuck, that rock has just about the same angle like the trees behind!!!!!"
My favorite parts of this video is all the technical talk and assessment before each feature. It shows how much intelligent forethought and planning go into this type of riding, and that it's not just a bunch of lunatics with a death wish like some people think. Thanks for leaving all that in the video.
This is cool. It shows how much thought and preparation actually goes into these features. Obviously it takes a lot to challenge Remy but everyone should prepare like this when trying something that scares them.
Had 5 min to spare and ended up watching the whole clip. You and Steve are insanely sick riders. And kudos to your camera peeps. Your vids do knarly features much more justice than most MTB vids on TH-cam 🤘
Yes Steve so sick dude to see this! Remy mad props for hitting that busted axe wound. Steve brought me there one time and it’s the scariest thing even looking down it !
Steve's guidance and comments about each line was pitch perfect - gave so much trust and confidence from describing exactly what you would experience! Sick! 🤘
Meilleur montage vidéo de descentes techniques, vous êtes des supers Riders, Incroyable!!!! Best feeling video, we can feel the drope and the feeling. You are 2 super technical Riders. Thank you for the Crazy ride!!!
Utterly incredible. Your control before the gap is unbelievable considering the gradient. But both of you are awesome to watch. It was very interesting to see how different your approaches are to master the same features. I could never attempt new features that high/gnarly in one hit the way you do. I tend to start from the bottom and repeat the run working my way up one section at a time if possible.
Inspirational viewing and fascinating to see the assessment and analysis between you before you hit the features. Luckily my thrills are earned more easily!
Great concept. Shows the back of the scene planning in hitting gnarly lines and how much planning and adjustment that goes with it! Definitely love this kind of videos! Subcribed to you!!
Wow you found someone to ride with that is as gnarly as you are. This video was epic. Those features were so gnarly. Thanks for sharing. Great video!!!
It's refreshing to see that you pro riders are actually human and do feel fear. Most of the time you all just come across as super humans. Props to you.
Insane riding. Love it. Makes me wonder, if these near vertical slabs don't do it, then on what type of ridiculous features Rémy would think "Hmm, might need a fullface helmet here"?!💪
I often wonder why you even wear knee pads. You make it look so effortlessly and in control. By far the best mtb content going. The explanations and attention to detail are incredible.
Who's downvoting this stuff??!! This is awesome, I don't think we've seen a video yet where Remy is rattled...Amazing stuff man and so cool featuring all the local rippers in all you videos.
Nice work Remy. As great as the video angle you have it still cancels out the steepness, but if you know what your looking at you still feel the pucker! I know I did! High consequence rip!
Much love from Olympia Washington, lots of single track trails around here to enjoy. Y'all should try lake Quinault, those trails are certainly gorgeous
Is the the absolute scariest Rock Face you have seen me ride?! Click here to support my channel! bit.ly/2V1Iiyu
Busted Axe for sure. Seen it in person, it's next level.
The phone vid looking straight up at you guys really showed the steepness. Absolutely insane. Also noticed how loud the tires were hitting the slab on the way down. Soo much speed.
I was thinking you guys needed mobile phones to talk. That was long distance there!
So rad to see how much thought goes into something that appears to be super chaotic. Also really appreciate that you were willing to walk away. Loved this video.
Yeah guys, that was an absolutely amazing vid!👌
Big respect to you Rèmy and Steve, Very impressive riding skills!
I love the super tech natural features, Definitely next level! 👍
Remy: falls off 1000 ft cliff.... "Zat was pretty zmoos, actually!"
Lolllll
LMAO!!
So accurate man
😂😂😂
And somehow he'd ride through it
Respect to the New-School of freeriding. Risk assessment, setup check, discussion, no pressure.

Gotta be smart to ride another day!
@@stevevanderhoek1304 good ski lines!

Thats what is wrong with the world today, we drank 40's of Old English, now kids drink White Claw
props for showing all the talk with the tire presure, how to ride it and feel good!
Not just the rock music, "fuck it lets go" that many people are pushing out
Preben Simonsen I loved how they showed that part too. I never would have thought the amount of adjustments they’d do before a certain feature
Totally!
Remy takes this game to the next level. He's super analytical about every feature he rides and explains them to a depth most other riders are not doing, and intellectually may not be able to. Intense!!

I lost it :)
just in awe of the riding in this video , the look on steve's face on the first feature when remy just cleans the deepest send ever on that line , so precise
Wildest thing I have seen. You need to see that feature to understand how messed up that is
Awesome to hear you two talk out the process of each run
This was the best video i have seen in a long time !! The way you documented the whole process of conquering such utlra narly features was perfect. Thanks for such quality content. Your friend is a madman for building and testing this features (and an amazing bike rider).
Many thanks!

Remy + Steve shows the "how to" to run the line before it lays you down
Yo Remy! you guys are crazy.. but my favourite part is when you said "we're being responsible while doing stupid stuff". classic!
At 19:23 I had to pause for a moment to recover from what I’d just seen. This is one of the most gripping mtb videos I’ve seen in a long time.
Thanks so much Rémy for showing all the preperation and deliberation that went in to trying those new lines and features!
The tire skip at 19:17 sent my heart into my throat.
@@adventuresona700dollarhard5 Exactly!!! You really have to see how steep it is to appreciate that skip.

This was quality! The interaction and discussion between the riders is excellent.
Getting goose bumps just watching in 2D. I can't imagine the rush to be there! The riding philosophy, style, and the camera angles are top notch!!!
This whole process of finding/building and riding like this is why I mountainbike.
Thank you to you and Steve for what you guys do 👊
The guys are scared but not enough for a full face helmet. Nice work.
Exactly my thoughts...
Nothing is going to save them if they make a mistake on these lines.
To be honest with you, for them is not even considered as a blue... It's all part of the show... If you aren't Pro tho grab that full face
@@pb8582 maybe even some gloves
I wouldn't ride that shit even in exoskeleton
Impressive, Thanks for the quality of riding and the actual quality of the 4K videos, big ups to your cameraman 🤘🏾keep the stoke alive.
Much appreciated! The cameraman has vertigo! Quite a challenge for him that day!
Yep, one of best vids I think i have seen, great analysis and great footage. fair play to both of you

It shows how much intelligent forethought and planning go into this type of riding, and that it's not just a bunch of lunatics with a death wish like some people think. Such a good watch, seeing how the builders views and plans became reality and then seeing how you interpret and ride that. So cool
The fact that I'm nervous watching this, makes me wonder how terrifying it is in person
Foreal. Same thought here
Such a great video. Not just amazing trails but also all the little technical details in your discussions were very interesting to hear.
Much appreciated!
28:50 "Oh, it's actually not too bad". Are you sure? I mean it certainly looks really, really bad. Even on video.
Best half hour I've spent all week.
just awesome to see you guys working together to session this stuff. killer job
Best duo to watch free riding B.C’s gnar . I can watch these videos all day absolutely insane features .
This is cool. It shows how much thought and preparation actually goes into these features. Obviously it takes a lot to challenge Remy but everyone should prepare like this when trying something that scares them.
Wow!! Totally rad video!! I love the whole thought process & line choices you both showed before actually hitting it. Awesome video as always.
That’s is the craziest knarl ive ever seen called a trail?...You guys are crazy but very talented. Much Respect to you.
You should make merch that says “smooze” on it
Yes please
Yeah for sure
😅😂😂😂
The riding goes without saying, but mad props to the cameraman. You know it's gnarly when the cameraman is wearing a helmet.
Fecking amazing. What a great vid. The whole thought process and set up was totally "gripping" (sorry, couldn't resist). Fantastic guys, it really is
It is great to see the thought process on these obstacles. So much more informative compared to just seeing people roll it.
Had 5 min to spare and ended up watching the whole clip.
You and Steve are insanely sick riders.
And kudos to your camera peeps. Your vids do knarly features much more justice than most MTB vids on TH-cam 🤘
Great chemistry between riders here, really fun to watch!
Incredible. Loved hearing your thoughts through the features. Def one of your best videos produced. Great work.
Damn! And Steve seems just stoked on riding with Remy! Hardcore!

Glad you enjoyed! Many years of riding to give the experience to be able to predict how a line will "MOST LIKELY" go hahha
Unreal. Like, just wow. Love the collaboration here with Steve and with Yoann in other videos.
I am so excited to see this if It’s the hardest feature he’s ever done it will be very hard
No kidding, the stuff he normally does is already insane!
This is one of the craziest videos and at the same time one of the most fascinating to watch...
Thank you!
L. K. Complètement d'accord ! Le format à deux comme ça avec le rider/shaper.
C'est le top 👏
Sooo good, didn't want this to end!, Steve is a legend.

Great vid guys. Steve is an animal. He's way too modest about his riding skills.
He definitely is!
Just happy to tag along!
Your bike control is insane. Your approach is calculated. 👌. Who knew style could be so in control.
Thank you! That is what I try to promote on here
That was insane Remy!! Especially on the iphone video you can see just how gnarly that jump is
