There are straps you can buy to carry heavy things like appliances and enormous mirrors. They're basically long nylon or heavy cotton straps that loop around the object for purchase and I think they have shoulder harnesses. I don't think anyone else could have accomplished that job in two weeks! Terry and Tracy, it looks amazing already. Thank you for sharing!!

The intensity of this project puts me in mind of old-world artisans & painters who totally dedicated themselves to their art & vision, no matter how long or arduous the process! As you have said, Terry, most people wouldn't take things this far. But, the finished product will certainly be a triumph & masterpiece, where I believe people will flock to see this room & all of the other rooms that have been restored to near perfection, whatever the style! I love how the ceiling in the room with the mirror, copies the detail of the stone mantel, beautiful! The faux woodgrain painting is fantastic! Great job, you both should be very proud of the work...
Good job on the wood room, I have a suggestion for the outside garden I think more seating in the middle like benches just so you can have stopping points to sit and enjoy the garden from different angles 🤩

My brother is a painter by trade, when he needs to tape anything he uses a BLUE painters tape which has less adhesive so it is easier/ less damaging when peeling off. I live in Australia so the colour may be different in France LOVE THE PAINTED WOOD EFFECT 💕🇦🇺💕
