I've tried various film stocks that have come into my hands from different cameras, different focal lengths, and directors, but none work as easily as here I think there must be a specific way to prepare the material
The issue I’ve seen people have with the halation node is because they were using the wrong color science & color space in their Project settings, resulting in data clipping. If you use the recommended project settings it works as intended 👍
Would you ever make a video/teach about how to create your own Emulation power grades?
keep going , i already got them your work is amazing i been follow your work since you upload the 16mm film emulation

How do I install the LUTs and get them into the Gallery window?
I buy cineprint35. There is monitoring lut. I have FX3. what lut should I use? A7 series lut or just sony lut?
Do you need the paid version of Davinci to install Cineprint?
You can use it with the free version but you have to deactivate the Denoiser and Grain nodes.
Very good tutorial, very nice color grading in DaVinci resolve thanks bro 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Did you fix the issue with the "legacy" tone mappings in the "To Linear" and "To Log" compound node of halation?

@@TomBolles I own the CinePrint16 V2 and don't see any mention of that in the PDF. Can you point me to where I can find that?
Color Science: Davinci YRGB
Timeline Color Space: Rec.709 Gamma 2.4
Output Color Space: Rec709. Gamma 2.4
@@TomBolles I keep the timeline at DWG maybe that's what it was.
Do I need the paid version of DaVinci Resolve for CinePrint35 Film Emulation to work properly?
It works in the free version if you disable grain & don’t use denoising. You can use free alternatives for grain like overlays/mattes
dont buy it if you dont have the full version, it doesnt work properly
Does this work with HDR instead of Rec.709?
By that do you mean making HDR deliverables for a high nit HDR display?
Or are you talking about project settings color management?
excited to use this in my work! do you have a promo code for early comers hahaha
Si ya habías comprado cineprint16, te llega a tu correo la información y un código del 50% de descuento! 😊
