Good job. I like the idea, and choices to keep tube amps (pre-amp), but for me, I would hate to give up FM. I am still listening to the Radio everyday. Tan fabric would have looked more appropriate for the console, but may not have been available and I'm splitting hairs. The Black/Grey looks good. And agree that speaker cloth looks and sound right. I would love to hear it even on TH-cam. Those big woofers look like they should sound great and speakers have improved tremendously since the 1970's. This is good inspiration if things ever fall together for me.
Nice job Steve the fabric choice was fantastic !!!👍👍👍

Beautiful work
I've done basically the same thing with mine. Good job!
Laminate - brilliant lateral thinking Steve !! I'm trying that myself 👋
That looks great! Good job!
Very interesting project.
Beautiful job! Ya, those later GE electronics were on a par with fold-down portable phonographs, just awful!
Ditching the AM/FM?
You can get any radio station in the world through Radio Garden.....
anyway to integrate an FM/AM tuner? or recommend one?
The Dayton amp has Bluetooth....
I want to hear it
