SE Caster is my choice of encoder. Plug in can be used, like Stereo Tool.

Hi Roderick, thank you so much for sharing this information, it really helps us a lot, I used the RadioDJ, but now I changed to Playit Live, and I wish you can do one full tutorial about how to set up Metadata about that software.

I have been using BUTT but cannot figure out how I can get my metadata from my Drs 2006 to show what the song is playing on my station. I got it to work twice but it isn't working anymore and I don't know why. I tried everything.
Are these individual songs? Make sure the file and folder of where the NowPlaying.txt file resides in, is set to Everyone when it comes to Properties and Permissions.
hello roderick! your videos have helped me a lot. one thing i couldnt find was how to use compressor&limiter plugins. do you have any good plugins which work with radio dj v2? i appreciate it:)
I can share my settings but I have found them to be to my liking out of the box. I did however adjust the EQ a bit.
At 16:02, you mention a file where the song titles are being updated, do you know if DJ software such as Serato or Rekordbox have that feature? I can stream audio from Rekordbox but im not getting song titles streamed. Was wondering if there was a way. You seem so knowledgeable. Great video!..thanks for all this useful information! Bravo!
Was just looking at Rekordbox, man technology is wild but fun! You mentioned that you can stream from it. What streaming encoder does that system use or you yourself use to stream with?
Do you know how to fix error while parsing config. illegal value (-1) for num_of_srv.? I was using BUTT before and started to encounter this error message - I am using a MacBook Air
Never saw that before and not sure what is causing it.
I would have to disagree with the quality being equal. I have multiple radio hosting platforms and I think the paid servers are far better quality. This is mostly due to the bitrate. The higher the bitrate the better the quality.
