I've been on the hunt for an Arnioceras multiblock for a while now but most of my Holderness trips have drawn a blank. Will Tunstal, just north of Withensea produce the goods
You timed that right for Tunstall. It was as clayey as I’ve ever seen it last week. Shame about the big Pleuro only being a partial. Glad you finally got your big arni block!
Thanks I should do the holderness more often really- far more interesting stuff when it's producing. I still need to take you up on the offer of a trip out at some point
Nice mix of species there, shame about the Pleuro, it looked promising from the keel. I do love a multi-block and that one from Instagram looked great. Nice one at the end too, that'll be worth the prep price.
It's a bit like that on the Holderness. Can find anything or everything. I've had some good pleuros from there but often they are over calcified. A shame the big one was just a partial!
It was nice meeting you Matt, I'm glad you a good trip. That liparoceras was an awesome find. My big arni block is already half prepped, I'll send some pics over on insta. -Gary
Some nice finds. Keen to see the chunky one once it's been prepped.
Me too 😆
Some mega finds that last block will be awesome!
Thanks. Hoping so

@@fossiliferous I think the exact same about the Whitby Coast 😂. Next time you’re down this way give me a shout.
A classic and highly enjoyable Lawson day.
Ta - typically northern enough 😆🤣😂
Some really interesting finds Matt, what a find at the end with that Arni block ❤
Thanks. Best day I've had on the Holderness lol
Not a bad day for the Holderness....😊
Best one I've had Trevor! It's normally all sand! Those North Easterlies must have worked their magic

So.....a fossiliferous arni block fund raiser.
..
When and where 😊
Well... I am planning a t-shirt run. Its the one downside of not doing your own prep!
@@fossiliferous i enjoy learning to prep.. Carry my air scribe and a fossil in my bag.
Let me know I'll have two tshirts
