- Packed with cobbled streets and lined with canals, few pocket-sized cities are as enchanting as medieval Bruges. On this walking tour of Bruges, we check out some of the top places to visit in Bruges, including Belgian attractions such as the the Belfry of Bruges, Basilica of the Holy Blood, Church of Our Lady, Grote Markt, Saint John's Hospital, and of course the gorgeous Bruges bridges and canals!
I originally started this day tour of Bruges in the morning, but in peak tourist season during Summer, it was incredibly hot and packed with tourists, so I decided to come back a few hours later when the crowds had died down, and was able to have a far more enjoyable walk through Bruges.

It is the best among Belgium cities and the cities of Europe in general it is even better among the Switzerland and the Austria cities .

Enjoyed your video. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon almost ten years ago and will be back in Dec. to celebrate our 10th year anniversary. Did you eat anywhere that was memorable?
What an amazing place to celebrate, and return to. I'm very happy for you. Regarding food, I wasn't there long enough to try much of the food. I would recommend avoiding the city centre and going out around the canals and finding a place visited by locals. Of course, you must grab some local beer too. Have fun!
