Come along with me on my day trip to Bruges (Brugge in Dutch), Belgium, as I vlog my way through a walking tour of this Western European gem, taking in the medieval wonderland of winding canals, maze-like cobblestoned streets, horse-drawn carriages and beautifully preserved Gothic and Renaissance architecture. With only one day available for my trip, I did my best to experience a bit of everything that this delightfully charming city, with its UNESCO-listed historic center, had to offer. We'll take in the sites, learn a bit about the history of Bruges, and review the best things to do if you've only got a day to explore. Girl…one of the best Bruges videos on TH-cam. You hit all the spots and you did a great job for one day. I have been there 4x and again this Christmas…yes go during Christmas. It’s amazing. So much beauty there and you could tell that you fell in love as well! Very cool!

Van Eyck was a very early painter and aN EARLY Renaissance(early 15th century) painter! Together with other painters, they are called " The Flemish Primitives". They invented "oil painting"

Same! It’s not one of the “big name” destinations in Western Europe but it’s a lovely country and I found Bruges to be so incredibly charming.

Fair enough! Thanks for the feedback. To be honest some of the footage of me walking was to make up for the lack of good B roll - got home and realized I should have taken a bit more than I did!
