Jasmine, thank you so much for checking out my exhibit! You are right about the windows, I really wish they were cleaner. They have an anti-graffiti film that was impossible to clean even after hiring professional cleaners & we were not allowed to remove it from the Palladium windows. It did add a non-intended distressed affect on the art work. I loved your review thank you for showcasing it so well!
Oooooohhhhh!!! The anti-graffiti film makes so much sense!! And thank you for organizing & curating the exhibit. Art & artists have taken a tremendous toll during the pandemic, so it's nice to see something like this - beautiful, & both the literal & figurative light at the end of the tunnel!

You're right, I"m probably overthinking the dirty windows. I get that the outside of the windows would be dirty on a city street. But most of this dirt & streaks were on the inside of the window. I just find it hard to believe that someone setup this art installation, stood outside, looked at it and said, "Yeah, that's good. Let's go with it." Those windows were REALLY dirty!
OMG, I didn't realize it was still an operating business! I googled it, and they have a miniature version of that neon sign inside their store in Pasadena. I'm going to head over there this weekend to see it. Thank you!
